Abstract
Kanker serviks adalah kanker keempat yang paling umum pada wanita. Pada tahun 2018, diperkirakan 570.000 wanita didiagnosis menderita kanker serviks di seluruh dunia dan sekitar 311.000 wanita meninggal karena penyakit tersebut. Ketika didiagnosis, kanker serviks adalah salah satu bentuk kanker yang paling berhasil diobati, asalkan terdeteksi sejak dini dan dikelola secara efektif. Kanker yang didiagnosis pada tahap akhir juga dapat dikontrol dengan pengobatan yang tepat dan perawatan paliatif. Apoteker di RS memiliki peranan penting untuk mencegah munculnya masalah terakait terapi atau obat pasien. Atas pertimbangan tersebut, dilakukannya pemantauan terapi obat di RSPAD agar hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan dapat diminimalisir atau dicegah.
......Cervical cancer is the fourth most common cancer in women. In 2018, an estimated 570,000 women were diagnosed with cervical cancer worldwide and around 311,000 women died from the disease. When diagnosed, cervical cancer is one of the most successfully treated forms of cancer, provided it is detected early and managed effectively. Cancers diagnosed in the late stages can also be controlled with proper medication and palliative care. Pharmacists in hospitals have an important role to prevent the emergence of problems related to patient therapy or medication.
