Salah satu pelanggan PT. Krakatau Bandar Samudera (PT.KBS), yakni PT. Sentra Grain Terminal (PT.SGT), berencana melakukan kerjasama proyek pembangunan fasilitas conveyor di Dermaga 2, Pelabuhan PT.KBS. Fasilitas conveyor tersebut akan terkoneksi hingga Integrated Warehouse (IWH) milik PT. SGT yang berada di kawasan PT.KBS. Kapasitas conveyor yang rencananya dibangun memiliki kapasitas bongkar 20.000 ton/hari untuk kargo food and feed. Kemudian, material kargo curah yang dibongkar dari kapal ke conveyor akan di-supply menggunakan 4 crane milik PT.KBS, yakni 2 unit Portal Harbour Crane (PHC) dan 2 unit Dual Level Luffing Crane (DLLC), dengan safety working load (SWL) 40 ton. Dalam proyek ini, PT. KBS memiliki scope pekerjaan untuk mengadakan 4 unit grab baru yang kapasitas dan spesifikasinya dapat menunjang bongkar-muat kargo milik PT.SGT dengan target 20.000 ton/hari. Untuk mengetahui nilai minimum-maksimum kapasitas volume grab yang diperlukan, maka pada laporan praktik keinsinyuran ini dilakukan kajian teknis dengan iterasi parameter-parameter, seperti waktu siklus crane, waktu bongkar, densitas kargo, SWL crane, dan kombinasi jenis crane. Kemudian, konsep desain grab akan mengadopsi spesifikasi teknis dan katalog grab yang sudah ada dengan beberapa modifikasi yang mempertimbangkan aspek profesionalisme, kode etik insinyur, dan safety dalam proses penentuannya. Kajian teknis dalam laporan Praktik Keinsinyuran ini menghasilkan konsep desain grab dengan kapasitas volume yang bervariasi dari 23 m3-34m3.
One of the PT Krakatau Bandar Samudera's (PT KBS) customers, PT Sentra Grain Terminal (PT SGT), plans to collaborate on a project to build the conveyor facility at Jetty 2, PT KBS Port. The conveyor facility will be connected to PT SGT's Integrated Warehouse (IWH) in the PT KBS area. The planned conveyor capacity has an unloading capacity of 20,000 tonnes/day for food and feed cargo. Then, bulk cargo material unloaded from the ship to the conveyor will be supplied using 4 cranes owned by PT KBS, namely 2 units of Portal Harbour Crane (PHC) and 2 units of Dual Level Luffing Crane (DLLC), with a safety working load (SWL) of 40 tonnes. In this project, PT KBS has a scope of work to procure 4 new grab units whose capacity and specifications can support the loading and unloading of PT SGT's cargo with a target of 20,000 tonnes/day. To determine the minimum-maximum value of grab volume capacity required, this engineering practice report will conduct a technical study by iterating parameters, such as crane cycle time, unloading time, cargo density, crane SWL, and crane type combination. Then, the grab design concept will adopt technical specifications and existing grab catalogues with some modifications that consider aspects of professionalism, engineer code of ethics, and safety in the determination process. The technical study in this engineering practice report produces grab design concepts with volume capacities varying from 23 m3-34m3. |
