Penelitian ini mengkaji naskah Cariyos Dhusun Kutha Liman Boten Kenging Kalebetan Priyantun (selanjutnya disingkat: CDKL). CDKL merupakan naskah koleksi Perpustakaan Nasional Republik Indonesia dengan kode koleksi NB 1075. Selain memuat mitos mengenai larangan, dalam teks CDKL juga terdapat cerita mengenai asal usul Desa Kutaliman. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, didapati masalah utama dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana Desa Kutaliman diasumsikan sebagai desa larangan yang disampaikan dalam teks CDKL? Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui motif larangan serta realitas sosial masyarakat Desa Kutaliman yang dikemukakan teks CDKL. Penelitian ini hanya berdasarkan pada satu naskah yaitu naskah CDKL dan dilakukannya langkah kerja filologi yang meliputi inventarisasi naskah; deskripsi naskah; dan suntingan teks. Untuk mengetahui isi teks dikaji dengan mengacu pada klasifikasi Motif Indeks Stith Thompson (1946). Klasifikasi motif cerita dalam teks CDKL bertujuan untuk membantu mendeskripsikan ragam motif cerita yang digunakan. Hasil Penelitian menunjukan bahwa teks CDKL memiliki dua motif cerita sebagai penanda mitos larangan di Desa Kutaliman yaitu B221.4 Land of Elephants dan C900 Punishment for Breaking Taboo. Keberadaan mitos mengenai dilarangnya aparatur sipil untuk mengunjungi Desa Kutaliman merupakan bentuk dari pemanfaatan potensi lingkungan Desa Kutaliman oleh masyarakatnya. This study examines the script of Cariyos Dhusun Kutha Liman Boten Kenging Kalebetan Priyantun (next abbreviated: CDKL). CDKL is a collection manuscript of the National Library of the Republic of Indonesia with collection code NB 1075. In addition to carrying myths about the ban, in the CDKL text there is also a story about the origin of the village of Kutaliman. Based on that, the main problem found in this study is how the Kutaliman Village is assumed as the forbidden village presented in the CDKL text? Therefore, this study aims to find out the motives of the prohibition as well as the social reality of the village community I put forward the text CDKL. This research is based only on one manuscript is the manuscript CDKL and carried out philological work steps that include inventory of manuscript; manuscript descriptions; and editing of text. To find out the content of the text studied by reference to the Stith Thompson Index Motive Classification (1946). The classification of story motifs in the CDKL text aims to help describe the variety of story motives used. The results of the research showed that the CDKL text had two narrative motifs as a marker of the myth forbidden in the village of Kutaliman: B221.4 Land of Elephants and C900 Punishment for Breaking Taboo. The existence of the myth about the prohibition of civilian equipment to visit Kutaliman Village is a form of the potential exploitation of the Kutaliman village environment by its people. |
