Fokus dari studi ini ialah untuk meneliti pengaruh dari holiday recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup. Penelitian ini meneliti pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung antara holiday recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup. Penelitian dalam pengaruh langsung adalah meneliti hubungan langsung antara holiday recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup. Penelitian dalam pengaruh tidak langsung ialah meneliti hubungan antara holiday recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup, dengan menggunakan variabel kepuasan turis sebagai variabel mediasi. Sampel dari penelitian ini ialah pegawai yang bekerja di wilayah Jabodetabek. Penelitian ini juga membandingkan antara total efek dari holiday recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup pada pegawai yang bekerja di Sektor Publik/BUMN, dengan pegawai Sektor Swasta/Non-Pemerintahan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengaruh langsung antara holiday recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup tidak signifikan. Namun, pengaruh tidak langsung antara holiay recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup, dengan menggunakan variabel kepuasan turis ialah signifikan. Selain itu, tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara efek holiday recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup dari pegawai yang bekerja di Sektor Publik/BUMN dengan efek holiday recovery experience terhadap kepuasan hidup dari pegawai yang bekerja di sektor swasta/non pemerintah.

The focus of this study is to examine the effect of holiday recovery experience towards life satisfaction. This research examining the direct and indirect effect between holiday recovery experiences towards life satisfaction. The direct effect is examining the direct relation between holiday recovery experiences towards life satisfaction. The indirect effect is examining the relationship of holiday recovery experience towards life satisfaction, using the tourism satisfaction as the mediation variable. The sample of this research are employees who are working in Jabodetabek area. This study is also comparing the total effect of holiday recovery experiences towards life satisfaction between employees who are working in Public Sector Government Company, with the employees who are working in Private Sector Non Government Company.

The result of this study is the direct effect of holiday recovery experience towards life satisfaction is not significant. However, the indirect effect of holiday recovery experience towards life satisfaction, using tourism satisfaction variable as mediation variable is significant. Also, there is no significant difference in terms the effect of holiday recovery experience towards life satisfaction of employees who are working in Public Sector Government Company with the effect of holiday recovery experience towards life satisfaction of employees who are working in Private Sector Non Government Company.
