 Abstract

ABSTRAK
Ruang kantor adalah aset perusahaan sebagai tempat para karyawan melakukan aktivitas. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi mendorong munculnya generasi pekerja baru yang disebut sebagai knowledge workers. Keberadaan generasi baru pekerja dapat menjadi basis perancangan office space masa kini. Seiring kompetitifnya dunia bisnis, perusahaan kini juga melakukan workplace branding untuk mengkomunikasikan identitas brand-nya. Maka dari itu, mengetahui bagaimana cara menerapkan translasi dari sebuah brand ke dalam ruang office space yang dirancang untuk knowledge workers menjadi hal yang menarik untuk dibahas. Tulisan ini akan membahas translasi brand dengan menggunakan metode brandscaping dan narrative branding. Elemen ruang interior dan objek di dalamnya menjadi media untuk membaca translasi yang terjadi.

ABSTRACT
Office space is an asset for a company as a place where its employees drive their activities. Advancement on information and communication technology has resulted in a new generation of employees called as knowledge workers. The existence of this new generation may become the base of office space planning. In accordance to competitive business, companies are doing workplace branding to communicate their brand identity. Therefore, to know how a brand can be translated into an office space by seeing the existence of knowledge workers become a compelling issue. This paper will confer on brand translation using brandscaping and narrative branding methods. Interior space elements and its filling objects are used as a media to read the translation.
