Perancangan Rekomendasi Strategi Marketing Perusahaan Restoran Cepat Saji di Indonesia Dengan Pendekatan Design Thinking = Designing Marketing Strategy Recommendation for a Fast Food Restaurant Company in Indonesia Using a Design Thinking Approach

 Abstract

Persentase terbesar penduduk di Indonesia adalah golongan Generasi Z yang menyebabkan Generasi Z akan menjadi basis konsumen terbesar di beberapa tahun yang akan datang. Hal ini mendorong perusahaan-perusahaan untuk mengalihkan target pelanggannya menjadi Generasi Z yang menyebabkan diperlukannya strategi pemasaran yang sesuai dengan karakteristik Generasi Z. Salah satu perusahaan yang perlu merancang strategi ini adalah PT X yang bergerak dalam bidang restoran cepat saji di Indonesia. Untuk merancang strategi pemasaran yang cocok untuk Generasi Z, digunakan pendekatan design thinking untuk strategi melalui empat tahap yaitu observing, learning, designing, dan validating. Pendekatan ini digunakan karena bersifat berorientasi kepada pelanggan. Temuan penelitian ini dirancang secara rinci menggunakan Business Model Canvas dan divalidasi oleh tiga expert melalui penilaian Analytical Hierarchy Process.

Generation Z holds the largest percentage of Indonesia’s populations, which means that Generation Z will become the largest consumer base in the upcoming years. This encourages companies to shift their target customers to Generation Z which results in the need of a marketing strategy that fits into the characteristics of Generation Z customers. One company that needs to design this strategy is PT X, which focuses on the fast food restaurant sector in Indonesia. To design a marketing strategy suitable for Generation Z, design thinking for strategy is used which consists of four stages, namely observing, learning, designing, and validating. This approach is used because it is customer oriented. The findings of this study were designed in detail using the Business Model Canvas and validated by three experts through the Analytical Hierarchy Process assessment.
