"Penggunaan ilmu listrik secara benar, terpadu, terkendali dan tepat guna akan memberikan dampak dan manfaat yang sangat besar pada kehidupan masyarakat luas yang telah dirasakan sampai saat ini.
Namun pemakaian listrik tidak terkendali yang diakibatkan oleh pemakainya sendiri serta banyaknya penyimpangan ? penyimpangan dalam penggunaan energi listrik telah banyak menimbulkan bencana kebakaran. Hampir 80% didalam pemberitaan media cetak ataupun media elektronik berita bencana kebakaran sering disebar luaskan karena diakibatkan hubungan singkat arus listrik (korsleijting), bahkan sering pernyataan ? pernyataan tersebut dilansir oleh pihak ? pihak yang berwenang justru sebelum penyidikan dan penyelidikan mendalam dilakukan.
Memang bukan suatu hal mudah untuk membuktikan bahwa suatu penyebab kebakaran bukan diakibatkan oleh listrik, apalagi kebakaran dan jilatan api menghabiskan semua bangunan. Namun perlu diingat bahwa jilatan dan jalaran api mempunyai pola tertentu, terutama yang diakibatkan oleh listrik yang panasnya berasal dari dalam kabel (internal) dan bukan dari luar kabel (eksternal).
Dalam penulisan tesis ini akan difokuskan kepada penilitian terhadap jenis sambungan kabel listrik dalam menanggung beban listrik terutama pada kabel listrik dan sambungannya yang banyak dipakai disektor rumah tinggal, karena penyimpangan paling banyak pemakaian listrik adalah disektor perumahan ini. Penyimpangan ? penyimpangan yang terjadi dalam penggunaan kabel listrik dan cara penyambungan inilah yang banyak menimbulkan bencana kebakaran terutama pada penyambungan.
Dimana pada akhir tulisan ini metoda cara mebuktikan bahwa bencana kebakaran yang terjadi, yang diakibatkan oleh listrik terutama pada beban lebih atau arus listrik hubungan singkat mempunyai pola ? pola tertentu yang mana dapat digunakan oleh forensik sebagai salah satu alat untuk penyidikan dan penyelidikan kebakaran.

Application of electric technology in the right way, integrated, controllable and useful will impacted and benefit in human life to date.
However deviations in application and uncontrollable usage by user itself in electrical power occurred the fire disaster. Almost 80% news that published by the media build the public opinion that fires occurs caused of the electric wire short circuit. Often the officially statement gave by the authority before the fire have been not investigated.
Bearing out the fire caused by electrical installation are not easy, even the fire destroyed all the building. However every single fire will leaving specific debris. Fire leaving the specific pattern in the wall or ceiling that will useful for fire investigate especially the fire cause by the electrical wiring installation, after all the conclusion will found that fire caused by the electrical installation or the electrical installation is the victim.
These thesis will be focused to the research of the type of electrical cable jointing and how it handle the electric load that will be product specific heat inside the cable, especially the cable jointing that applied in the housing due to the most deviation of application in electrical installation coming from these sector.
In the end of these thesis will giving the illustration the best type of cable jointing and will give specific pattern of fire by electric wire to help forensic field to investigate the fire caused."

"ABSTRAK
Kebakaran pada bangunan baik komersial maupun industri selama ini selalu mengkambing hitamkan listrik sebagai penyebab. Terlepas apakah benar kebakaran tersebut diakibatkan oleh listrik atau tidak namun hasil statistik baik international maupun nasional menyatakan bahwa kebakaran akibat listrik diatas 83 . Dari 83 kebakaran akibat listrik tersebut 90 dinyatakan bahwa kebakaran diakibatkan oleh hubungan pendek listrik electrical short circuit . Dari 90 kebakaran yang diakibatkan listrik 97 dimulai dari kabel ukuran kecil atau bisa dikatakan sebagai kabel yang digunakan sehari - hari dimana ukuran penampangnya antara 1 mm2 sampai dengan 2,5 mm2. Proses terjadinya kebakaran karena listrik dalam kondisi normal selalu dimulai dengan adanya perubahan atau kenaikan temperatur dalam inti kabel yang umumnya logam heat source dan adanya isolasi kabel pada kondisi tertentu berubah menjadi bahan bakar fuel dan oksigen yang tersedia. Pada kondisi normal komposisi oksigen di atmosfir sekitar 20,9 , nitrogen sekitar 78 dan sisanya diisi oleh komposisi gas lainnya sampai dengan 100 . Salah satu jalan untuk menghambat tumbuhnya api pada kabel listrik adalah dengan mengurangi konsentrasi oksigen sampai batas tertentu dimana pada konsentrasi ini api dapat dihambat bahkan dihindari pertumbuhannya, namun disisi lain penurunan konsentrasi oksigen ini harus masih dalam batas aman bagi manusia. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diaplikasikan pada panel listrik, ruang panel listrik, ruang kontrol, ruang IT dan ruang terbatas confined space dengan potensi penyalaan yang tinggi seperti adanya instalasi pengkabelan listrik. Untuk menguji pada konsentrasi berapa persen oksigen efektif dan bisa digunakan sebagai sarana pencegah kebakaran digunakan DSC Digital Scanning Calorimetre dan TGA Thermal Gravimetry Analysis . DSC akan menunjukkan berapa energi yang dibutuhkan untuk merusak isolasi dan mulai terdekomposisi, sedangkan TGA untuk melihat berapa banyak perubahan massa mass change yang terjadi.

ABSTRACT
Fire on buildings, both in commercial and industrial buildings always caused by electricity. Regardless whether the fire was caused by electrical system or not, but the results of both international and national statistics stated that the fire caused by electricity above 83 . From the 83 of the electrical fire caused, 90 stated that the fire caused by an electric fault. From the 90 of electrical fires, 97 trigerring and starting from small cables and wires or can be assumed the cable for daily common use with sizes among 1 mm2 to 2,5 mm2. The process of electrical fire on electrical cable on normal condition beginning from temperature changes or temperature increasing inside cable core that commonly made from metal heat source , their insulation becomes as fuel and existence of oxygen. In normal condition in atmospheric the composition of oxygen is 20,9 , nitrogen 78 and the rest was filled by another gas composition to 100 . One of the ways to inhibit the fire gowth on electrical cable is to reduce oxygen concentration to a certain where in this oxygen concentration fire growth can be avoid, however the decreasing of oxygen concentration should be safe for human life. This study can be applied on electrical distribution bard, electrical distribution room, control room, IT room and confined space with high potential igtion such as electrical cable installtion system. It as also possible to replacing exitiguishing system with characteristic could damage the environtment and electrical installation and its equipment protected. To investigate at what oxygen concentration is most effective used for fire prevention DSC Digital Scanning Calorimeter and TGA Thermal Calorimeter Gravimetry are use, DSC using to investigate energy needed to damage the cable insulation and begin to decomposition, while TGA to investigate how much are mass change during fire processing. "

"Pemohonan listrik merupakan salah satu penurunan kemampuan (degradasi) pada bahan isolasi padat berupa struktur mirip pohon, bercabangcabang akibat medan listrik tak seragam yang sangat tinggi antara bahan isolasi dengan konduktor atau induksi dari rongga Medan listrik lokal sebesar lebih dari 1MV/mm dapat muncul di daerah seperti ini. Penurunan kemampuan (degradasi) lokal akibat tekanan medan listrik seperti ini akan menginisiasi munculnya pemohonan listrik.
Pemohonan ini makin lama akan makin panjang yang akan menghubungkan elektroda atau bagian konduktor dengan konduktor lain. Bila hal ini terjadi maka biasanya isolasi polimer sudah tidak dapat lagi berfungsi untuk menahan medan listrik normal.
Pada skripsi ini, akan dibahas pengaruh tekanan medan listrik lokal pada isolasi XLPE pada kabel bawah tanah terhadap pertumbuhan pemohonan listrik Pada skripsi ini akan diamati pula pengaruh tegangan yang diterapkan dan jarijari ujung tonjolan pada permukaan tabir konduktor terhadap medan listrik lokal tersebut, yang pada akhirnya dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan pemohonan listrik.
Electrical treeing is pre-breakdown phenomonen in insulation with structure like tree, branched by high divergen electrical field between insulation and conductor or partial discharge in void. Local electrical field above 1MV/mm can be appeared in this region. Local insulation degradation by such electrical field will initiate electrical treeing.
This electrical treeing will increase higher, ultimately that can bridged between electrodes. In this case, insulation won’t be longer withstand normal electrical field.
In this paper, local field effect toward electrical treeing growth within XLPE cable will be discused. In this paper, influence of voltage and protrusion tip radius toward such a local electrical field ultimately can effect treeing growth , will be observed.

"Kebakaran hutan dan lahan, baik disengaja maupun tidak, sering terjadi di Provinsi Riau, Indonesia, terutama saat musim kemarau. Riau memiliki lahan gambut seluas sekitar 4.811.865 ha. Pada akhir 2023, terdapat 163 hotspot kebakaran di Riau, dengan Kabupaten Indragiri Hulu memiliki hotspot terbanyak, yakni 69 titik, terutama di Kecamatan Rengat Barat, Rengat, dan Kuala Cenaku. Selain kondisi fisik lahan gambut, aktivitas manusia seperti kepadatan permukiman dan kerapatan parit juga berperan sebagai penyebab utama kebakaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Kernel Density Estimation (KDE) dan overlay serta super-imposed untuk mengolah distribusi hotspot, dengan tujuan mengetahui hubungan distribusi spasial potensi bahaya kebakaran hutan dan lahan dengan faktor kedalaman lahan gambut, kepadatan permukiman, dan kerapatan parit berdasarkan wilayah administrasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa distribusi potensi bahaya kebakaran cenderung mengelompok di area tertentu, seperti Kelurahan Sekip Hilir (Kecamatan Rengat), Kelurahan Sungai Dawu (Kecamatan Rengat Barat), dan Kelurahan Rawa Asri (Kecamatan Kuala Cenaku). Distribusi spasial potensi bahaya kebakaran memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kedalaman lahan gambut dan kerapatan parit. Kepadatan permukiman yang dekat dengan jaringan jalan cenderung berpotensi rendah terhadap kebakaran, sementara kerapatan parit yang lebih dekat justru berpotensi lebih tinggi karena parit berfungsi sebagai drainase air gambut yang tidak terkendali.

Forest and land fires in Indonesia's Riau Province are common, particularly during the dry season. Riau's peatlands span about 4,811,865 hectares. By the end of 2023, the province had 163 hotspots, with Indragiri Hulu Regency having the highest number at 69. The numerous hotspots and extensive peatlands in Indragiri Hulu, especially in West Rengat, Rengat, and Kuala Cenaku sub-districts, make these areas particularly vulnerable to fires. Human activities, such as settlement density and drainage density, also contribute significantly to fire occurrences. This study uses Kernel Density Estimation (KDE) and overlay methods to analyze the spatial distribution of fire hazards, focusing on peatland depth, settlement density, and drainage density across administrative areas. The results indicate that fire hazards tend to cluster in specific areas: Sekip Hilir Village (Rengat Sub-district), Sungai Dawu Village (West Rengat Sub-district), and Rawa Asri Village (Kuala Cenaku Sub-district). The spatial distribution of fire hazards is significantly related to peatland depth and drainage density. Areas with high settlement density and close proximity to road networks tend to have lower fire potential. Conversely, areas with higher drainage density have increased fire potential due to uncontrolled peat water drainage systems."

"The Fire damage occurs in unpredictable time and can cause losses to the owner because of the damage. It can occur in buildings that do not have Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System in the building. By detecting and preventing against fire damage, which arise in unpredictable times will prevent loss of lives and assets of the buildings.
There has been considerable research into the fire damage such as at the Polo Condominium in Colorado. The Polo Condominium that was built in 1967 caught fire on October 31' because it did not have the Fire Protection System in each floor. When the fire came and burned the building interior, the building could not extinguish the fire because it did not have fire detector and sprinklers in place.
To solve the problem, in Jakarta there are a lot of guidelines such as the Minister Of Public Works Decree # 02IKPTSI1985 for Fire Safety in building. But from many fire damages, the guidelines could not accommodate the problem because the buildings did not incorporate Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System. Relevant research indicated that Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System are very important to detect and prevent against fire damage. In this research, the Fire Protection and Fire Safety Management System are defined as Fire Safety Design which have been taken from many relevant theories and journals.
From 50 questionnaires sent to various high rise office buildings in Jakarta, 30 responses were received to be viable for in depth analysis. The result of the analysis shows clearly that the Fire Safety Design is positively correlated in a linear manner to four of the key Fire Safety Design variables. The four key variables influencing building reliability in design carried out by the consultant and controlled by the construction manager in the projects are : detection and fire alarm, building architecture, the designer's fire certificate and special equipment to stop fire_ This research can then be used to control and measure the quality of Future Fire Safety Design of the high rise building reliability in Jakarta."

A commercially managed hotel should meet certain standards; one of them is fire prevention through a system that called Fire Safety Manage, rent. The existence of Fire Safety Management is important as most hotel guests have no or little knowledge at how to respond in case of fire.
This research on hotel Fire Safety Management is used to observe the correlation between application of Fire Safety Management and reliability of building in preventing and controling the damages caused by fire at hotels in Jakarta.
This research uses primary and secondary data. Primary data is gathered by distributing questioners to hotel building managers, data gathered is then analyzed by using statistic program SPSS 10.0 to obtain measurable and relevant indicators to improve reliability at a hotel building.
Data analysis shows same parameters in Fire Safety Management, Which are: Pre-estinguishment at fire : 50,0 %, Response to alarm and signal : 33,6 % , other variable from dummy analysis is : Identification potential at fire : 12, 3 %. The result at this research can be used to improve role of Fire Safety Management in building reliability in general and hotel building in specific."

"The paper reviews the standard ot' design and installation of the Active Fire Protection
Systems for hotel buildings to minimize tire risk. When a tire occurs, active
protection system is necessary that pinpoints its location. Once detected, the first line
of defense against tire is a sprinkler system or other active tire protection systems.
Active Fire Protection Systems are detectors & alarm systems, automatic sprinkler
systems, risers, extinguishing systems, and smoke control, all of which is aimed to
solve the problem of fire damage.
ln major cities around the world especially in Jakarta, hotel buildings have been, are
and will be designed and built to provide safe and comfortable space for human life
and various activities. The fire risk is inherent in the building itself and it is of utmost
importance to eliminate or keep this risk and its consequences as small as possible.
On December 3 lst, 1986 a tire occurred in the Dupont Plaza Hotel and Casino, San
Juan, Puerto Rico, lt happened because The Hotel did not have dispensary ot`the tire
protection system in each floor. When thc iirc came and burncd, the building could
not extinguish the tire because it did not have the needed tire detector and sprinklers
in place.
From 50 questionnaires sent to various hotel buildings in Jakarta, 30 responses were
