"[Skripsi menganalisis kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh organisasi nirlaba asal Jepang, e-Education di Waikabubak, Sumba Barat. Analisis terhadap kegiatan terfokus pada perubahan tingkat kesukaan peserta didik terhadap Jepang setelah menjalani rangkaian agenda e-Education. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori kekuasaan oleh Michel Foucault, untuk mengukur ada tidaknya perubahan, peneliti menggunakan Japanese Fondness Point (JFP) Index oleh Noboru Toyoshima. Hasil penelitian manunjukkan bahwa kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh e-Education meningkatkan kesukaan peserta didik terhadap Jepang meskipun hanya 1 poin karena ternyata peserta didik sudah menyukai Jepang sebelumnya. Mereka memiliki pandangan yang baik tentang Jepang saat sebelum adanya kegiatan dari e-Education.

The culture of Japan is influenced by its strategic position on global trade routes. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the Portuguese and other European nations traded with the Japanese. The Portuguese, who along with the Spanish at the time were called nanban by the Japanese, brought culinary influences from their own country and colonies into Japanese cuisine.
