The problems of this research was the low science process skills and learning outcome of the students. Type of this research was CAR. The source of data in this reseacrh were students of class VII MTS Tarbiyatun Nasyiin Pemekasan. The result of the research shows the students' science process skilss and learning outcome were increased. Contextual teaching and learning combined with cooperative learning of TGT strategy could also gain positive response."

"The objective of this research were to analyze and describe the effect of inquiry, learning community, and entry behavior toward cognitive achievement of Senior High School Students of Bengkulu. The research showed that: (1) there was no difference of students’ cognitive learning achievement with CTL through inquiry level 1 and level 2 strategy and (2) there was a difference of students’ cognitive learning achievement with CTL through intended learning community and extended learning community. The result with LSD test revealed that, students’ cognitive learning achievement with CTL through extended learning community was better than those with intended learning community"

"Artikel ini dijelaskan penggunaan pendekatan kontekstual dalam pembelajaran pengetahuan sosial untuk siswa SD. Sebelum melakukan penelitian, peneliti menemukan bahwa guru belum sepenuhnya melibatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, siswa memiliki motivasi rendah, belajar suasana tidak baik dan siswa pencapaian itu sangat rendah. Dengan melakukan penelitian tindakan, masalah yang berusaha untuk menjadi dipecahkan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kontekstual. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suasana belajar dengan motivasi yang baik, siswa meningkat, dan prestasi siswa menjadi lebih baik daripada sebelumnya."

"Penelitian ini membahas kreasi pengetahuan kontekstual pada organisasi publik dengan memilih Badan Diklat Provinsi Daerah Khusus Ibukota (DKI) Jakarta sebagai lokus penelitian. Pengetahuan kontekstual adalah pengetahuan yang dikreasi dari konteks sehingga lebih efektif memecahkan permasalahan kontekstual yang dihadapi oleh suatu organisasi publik. Sistem kreasi pengetahuan kontekstual pada organisasi publik khsusunya bidang pendidikan dan pelatihan dan penugasan belajat merupakan suatu realitas yang bersifat kompleks dan ill-structured. Faktor budaya dan manusia membawa kesulitan tersendiri dalam memahami sistemnya sehingga membawa tantangan ketika akan direkayasa untuk ditingkatkan kinerjanya.
Metode penelitian Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) dipilih sebagai metode penelitian untuk mengungkapkan realitas dan aktualitas kreasi pengetahuan kontekstual pada lokus penelitian. Dalam penelitian ini, SSM diarahkan untuk mengonstruksi dua sistem. Pertama adalah sistem untuk meningkatkan kinerja kreasi pengetahuan kontekstual pada Badan Diklat Provinsi DKI Jakarta sebagai problem solving interest dan kedua adalah untuk menemukan karakteristik aplikasi model kreasi pegetahuan SECI pada organisasi research interest.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari perspektif problem solving interest, kinerja kreasi pengetahuan kontekstual pada Badan Diklat provinsi DKI Jakarta yang berisi sembilan kegiatan atau relevant purposeful activities masih perlu ditingkatkan karena belum memiliki sub sistem monitoring dan kontrol, dan masih adanya masalah komitmen, keberanian berinovasi, perilaku informal, dan pemberdayaan. Sementra itu, dari perspektif research interest ditemukan bahwa kreasi pengetahuan kontekstual pada organisasi publik di bidang kediklatan dan penugasan belajar mengonfirmasi model kreasi pengetahuan SECI yang dikembangkan oleh Ikujiro Nonaka dan Hirotaka Tekuchi. Namun, Model SECI ini perlu dipasangkan dengan dimensi soft systems yang meliputi komitmen, keberanian berinovasi, perilaku informal, dan pemberdayaan.
Berdasarkan temuan di atas, penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar Badan Diklat Provinsi DKI Jakarta membentuk Tim Pengkreasi Pengetahuan. Begitupula pemerintah pusat, supaya menerbitkan peraturan perundangan yang mendorong organisasi publik bidang pendidikan pelatihan dan penugasan belajar memiliki sistem kreasi pengetahuan kontekstual yang efektif.

This research examines the practice of contextual knowledge creation in public organization, choosing the Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta Province Training Institution as the locus of research. Contextual knowledge is the knowledge created from context so it is effective in solving contextual problems. As a social entity that contains problematical situations, contextual knowledge creating system in public organization is full of complexity and ill-structured. The changing social, cultural and political in his human activity systems brings about difficulty in unpacking its systems, and therefore provides challenges when the system is reingenered for improving its performance.
Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) is chosen as an appropriate research method to reveal both reality and actuality of the system. In this research, SSM is geared to construct two systems: firstly, a system to improve the performance of contextual knowledge creation in the Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta Province Training Institution, answering the problem solving interest; and secondly, a system to explore the use of SECI Model as knowledge creating tool, answering research interest.
The result of the research reveals that from problem solving interest perspective, the performance of contextual knowldge creating in the Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta Province Training Institution still needs improvement. There is no monitoring and controlling in the system. Besides, the collaborative culture is not condusive for knowledge creating culture due to lack of commitment, motivation, empowerment, and group cohessiveness. From research interest perspective, the research confirms that in creating contextual knowledge, administrators in the Daerah Khusus Ibukota Jakarta Province Training Institution utilize the essence of SECI Model invented by Ikujiro Nonaka dan Hirotaka Takeuchi to create contextual knowledge. However, the model should be equiped with soft systems.
Based on these finding, this research recommends Badan Diklat provinsi DKI Jakarta to form a knowlege creating team, and suggests the central government to issue regulations for promoting contextual knowledge creation within government training institutions.
