"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan struktur pengeluaran konsumsi rumah tangga akibat penggunaan internet dan hubungan yang dibentuk oleh jasa telekomunikasi dengan barang dan jasa lainnya yang dikonsumsi oleh rumah tangga menggunakan data Susenas tahun 2013, 2016 dan 2019. Struktur pengeluaran rumah tangga dianalisis menggunakan model AIDS dan estimasi SUR. Hasil estimasi menunjukkan jasa telekomunikasi merupakan barang mewah yang elastis terhadap perubahan pendapatan. Nilai absolut dari elastisitas harga sendiri untuk jasa telekomunikasi semakin meningkat selama periode analisis. Elastisitas harga silang menunjukkan jasa telekomunikasi membentuk hubungan komplementer dengan semua kelompok komoditas kecuali sayur-sayuran. Secara umum, kenaikan harga jasa telekomunikasi yang selama ini terjadi telah menurunkan hampir semua permintaan terhadap kebutuhan pokok rumah tangga seperti bahan makanan dan jasa kesehatan. Dengan demikian, jasa telekomunikasi sebagai barang mewah bertolak belakang dengan sifatnya sebagai kebutuhan primer. Tugas Pemerintah untuk memastikan penyediaan akses TIK bisa dijangkau oleh rumah tangga tanpa mendistorsi pengeluaran untuk kebutuhan pokoknya.

This paper investigates the changes in the structure of the household expenditure due to internet usage and the relationship of telecommunication service with other goods and services consumed by household using 2013, 2016 and 2019 Susenas data. The household expenditure structure is analyzed using the AIDS model and SUR estimation. The estimation results suggest that telecommunication service is a luxury item an income elastic. The absolute value of the own-price elasticity is price inelastic and increasing over the whole analysis period. The cross-price elasticity suggests the relationship between telecommunication service with all other goods and services is a complementary except for vegetables. In general, the increase in the telecommunication expenditure has reduced almost all demand for basic household needs such as food and health services. Thus, telecommunication service as a luxury item is contrary to its nature as a primary need. This is the Government’s task to ensure that the provision of ICT access can be reached by household without distorting spending on basic needs."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk menganalisa pola penggunaan internet pada mahasiswa FISIP UI. Terkait pola pengguaan internet dimana terdapat empat dimensi yaitu frekwensi, durasi, lokasi dan aktivitas online. Analisis statistik dilakukan pada penelitian ini dengan melihat deskriptif analisis dari masing-masing pertanyaan yang terkait. Dimana data yang didapat sebanyak 346 kuesioner yang terdiri dari beberapa tingkatan semester dan jurusanjurusan yang berbeda. Dari data yang didapat responden wanita (59.5%) lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan responden pria (40.5%) Berdasarkan frekwensi penggunaan internet hampir rata-rata para responden memilih menggunakan internet pada malam hari dan rata-rata responden menjawab bahwa responden sangat sering dan familiar dengan internet untuk keperluan perkuliahan dan pendidikan.Berdasarkan hasil durasi penggunaan internet dapat disimpulkan bahwa durasi penggunaan internet oleh responden lebih dari dua jam setiap harinya serta sangat jarang responden menggunakan fasilitas internet untuk keperluan bermain game. Sehubungan dengan lokasi penggunan internet dimana rata-rata responden memilih rumah sebagai tempat yang mereka senangi pada saat mengakses internet. Adapun jejaring sosial berdasarkan hasil yang didapat dimana ada dua situs jejaring sosial yang responden paling suka dan paling sering menggunakannya yaitu Twitter dan Facebook dengan persentase pemilih lebih dari 50%.

This research has purpose to analyzed pattern of internet use among bachelor degree student in Faculty of Social Science and Politic Science University of Indonesia. Moreover, the respondents of this research are students from grade 2009 - 2011 and this research figure out whether the internet is useful to support their activity. Toward pattern of internet using there are several dimensions such frequency, duration, location and online activity of using internet. The collected data was analyses through descriptive analysis, total of 346 useable questionnaires were collected. The result of this research mentions that amount of female respondents (59.5%) higher than male respondents (40.5%). The data was divided into two categories the first based on level of semester and second based on major.

In addition related to frequency of internet use most of respondent used internet in the night and most of them often using internet for study and to find the information toward education. According to the results of duration using internet there is respondents always uses internet more than 2 hours each day but low intensity used internet to play game. In the other hand, the favorite place that respondent prefer for using internet is home and campus as convenience place. In this research also was identified which social network site has influence to interest of respondents from the result mentions that Facebook and Twitter are famous social network which respondents uses (more than 50%)."

"Selain memberikan banyak manfaat, internet juga memiliki dampak salah satunya pada kesehatan, apabila penggunaannya tidak dikontrol dengan bijak. Di Indonesia, perhatian terhadap intensitas akses internet berlebihan masih kurang, sementara banyak penelitian menemukan gejala kecanduan internet sebagai akibat dari penggunaan internet berlebihan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui hubungan faktor predisposisi, faktor pemungkin, dan faktor penguat penggunaan internet pada 100 mahasiswa S1 Reguler di Universitas Indonesia dengan rentang usia 18-25 tahun. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data survey menggunakan kuesioner.Hasil penelitian ini adalah tingkat pengeluaran, tingkat pengetahuan, serta pengaruh dari teman sebaya, keluarga, dan fasilitas yang dimiliki berhubungan dengan penggunaan internet responden. Berdasarkan penelitian ini disarankan untuk memberikan informasi mengenai adanya dampak penggunaan internet berlebihan kepada masyarakat luas khususnya remaja dan adanya penelitian lanjutan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar dampak penggunaan internet berlebihan yang telah dirasakan oleh masyarakat pengakses internet di Indonesia.

In addition to providing many benefits, the Internet also has an impact on one's health, if its use is not controlled wisely. In Indonesia, the attention to the intensity of excessive internet access is still lacking, although many studies have found symptoms of internet addiction as a result of excessive internet use. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of predisposing factors, enabling factors, and reinforcing factors internet usage at 100 Regular Bachelor Degree Program students at the University of Indonesia with an age range of 18-25 years old. This research is a quantitative survey data collected with questionnaires.The results of this study is the level of expenditure, the level of knowledge, as well as the influence of peers, family, and owned facilities associated with the use of the Internet respondents. Based on this study are advised to provide information about the impact of excessive Internet use to the general public, especially adolescents and the presence of further research to determine how much impact that excessive internet use has been felt by the community of internet users in Indonesia."
