"Aceh, a special region of Indonesia is known as the "rice granary" of the Western gate to Indonesia. The region is predominantly an agricultural and exports oriented economy with the majority of the population living in rural areas where rice cultivation predominates. The annual rate of increase of rice production is above the annual rate of population growth. The increased rice production and variations in production both spatial and temporal have created a number of marketing problems. Rice marketing systems need to be developed and expanded to: (a) link markets and rice producers through equalization and distribution, (b) encourage efficient rice trade activity and recruit entrepreneurial talents, (c) serve a connective function, (d) provide outlets for increased rice production,3 and (e) limit rice price variation. Effective rice marketing systems are, therefore, necessary for economic development of agricultural societies Their development make possible regional economic integration and full utilization of whatever assets and productive capacities a region already possesses. The agricultural development plan of Indonesia is directed toward increasing production and production efficiency. For one thing, an increase in agricultural productivity depends on the improved efficiency and effectiveness of current marketing systems in different regions. In spite of broad similarities in the traditional marketing system, there are differences between regions due to a multiplicity of social, geographical, environmental, economic and political factors. The present development plan of Indonesia emphasizes the socio-economic as well as physical aspects and sectoral approaches at the macro level. Micro studies on regional level aim at finding similarities and differences strongly needed to support and improve the existing plan. This regional analysis of agricultural development emphasizing rice marketing in Aceh is meant to be a stimulus to improve the existing marketing systems. Improvement of marketing systems may have significant effects on production, distribution, consumer prices and adoption of improved production methods."

"Visual marketing merupakan salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam beriklan. Kemenparekraf melalui akun Instagram @indtravel merupakan salah satu pengguna strategi visual marketing. @indtravel dalam kampanyenya yaitu “Wonderful Indonesia” harus memperlihatkan keunggulan pariwisata Indonesia untuk dapat bersaing dengan negara lain. Indonesia yang sudah cukup unggul dan memenangkan banyak penghargaan dari bidang pariwisata tetap harus mempertahankan posisi tersebut bahkan harus terus berkembang. Hal tersebut menjadi penting karena dunia pariwisata merupakan salah satu sumber pendapatan Indonesia terbesar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mempelajari bagaimana @indtravel menerapkan visual marketing dan termasuk mempelajari bagaimana pembentukan destination image di dalamnya sehingga consumer behaviour khalayak terpengaruhi. Melalui metode content analysis, didapatkan bahwa @indtravel sangat maksimal dan konsisten dalam menjalankan strategi visual marketing. Jadi, dengan visual yang menarik dan termasuk didalamnya terbentuknya destination image yang berupa natural, cultural, sensory, modern, dan adventurous wonders, tahapan pra-kunjungan khalayak dalam teori consumer behaviour terpengaruhi sehingga dengan melihat-lihat Instagram @indtravel saja timbul rasa untuk berlibur ke Indonesia bagi khalayak asing.

Visual marketing is one of the most effective strategy in marketing. Kemenparekraf through their Instagram account, @indtravel, is one of the visual marketing practitioner. With their campaign “Wonderful Indonesia’, @indtravel have to present the excellence of Indonesia’s tourism site in order to compete with other countries. With all the awards and advantages that Indonesia’s tourism have, Indonesia still have to maintain the position and have to achieve more. That becomes important because tourism is one of the biggest income source that Indonesia have. The aim of this research is to study how @indtravel implement their visual marketing strategy, including how they construct the destination image that could affect audience’s consumer behaviour. With content analysis method, the result shows that visual marketing that @indtravel execute is very good and consistent. With the attractive visual content including the destination image that they build (natural, cultural, sensory, modern, and adventurous wonders), the pre-visitation stage in their consumer behaviour is affected. So, the foreign audiences would travel to Indonesia someday just by looking at @indtravel Instagram site."
