"ABSTRAKOil and gas industry is still an essential industry that takes the significant concern from the host Government since it may relate to the public wealth in the nation. The host Government needs the foreign company due to the enormous capital investment that need to be spent into the oilfield project exploration before the outcome of the oil and gas can really be taken in exploitation phase. A good business environment between host Government and Oil Company should be retained in order to keep the mutual benefit for both parties. The sharing system formula should take into account the interest of all parties where host Government can take the benefits of natural resource production to the wealth nation with still maintaining the competitive return to the investment for oil company interest. Aside from that, the risk embedded in the host country is another variable that needs to be taken into account before the oil company decides to enter to an oilfield investment. The aggregated value and risk of the countries is the representative of the country attractiveness that is examined in this thesis. The result of this thesis enable the host Government compare and analyze their current situation to attract investment in oil and gas industry whereas for the oil company, it will give insight to which country they should after the investment.

ABSTRACTDunia industri minyak dan gas tetap merupakan industri yang penting yang sangat diperhatikan oleh negara mengingat hubungannya dengan kesejahteraan hidup masyarakat di negara tersebut. Negara penghasil membutuhkan perusahaan asing oleh karena jumlah investasi yang sangat besar yang dibutuhkan pada saat eksplorasi migas sebelum produksi di fase eksploitasi migas tercapai. Iklim bisnis yang baik antara Negara penghasil migas dan perusahaan migas harus dijaga untuk tetap melanggengkan keuntungan bersama yang didapat dari kerjasama keduanya. Sistem bagi hasil yang diterapkan diantara keduanya harus memperhatikan kepentingan kedua belah pihak dimana Negara mendapatkan hasil migas untuk kesejahteraan rakyat dan dengan tetap memperhatikan tingkat pengembalian yang competitif bagi perusahaan migas. Di samping itu, resiko yang ada di dalam suatu negara juga harus diperhatikan sebelum sebuah perusahaan migas memutuskan untuk berinvestasi dalam suatu proyek migas di suatu negara. Hasil penggabungan dari reward dan resiko dalam tesis ini dianggap sebagai perwakilan dari daya tarik negara tersebut di industri hulu migas. Hasil dari tesis ini akan memampukan Negara membandingkan dan menganalisa keadaan industri hulu minyak mereka dan bagi perusahaan migas akan memberikan gambaran yang lebih baik untuk negara mana yang memberikan potensi keuntungan lebih baik."

The Business Process Management Model is one of the most reliable tools used for an improvement for a company that can guide the company to achieve the most efficient process phase inside the company that can brings the company into the most desired state possible. PT. Sumalindo Lestari Jaya Limited Company is an Indonesian multinational company that tries to improve its business performance. By using this model as guidance,this paper will examine the current process management inside the company, and then try to evaluate on what the company should do to reach that desired final stage and examine. To what extent does BPM model research provides a foundation towards the implementation of BPM to the company."
