"This article discusses the development of the online sequential circular extreme learning machine (OS-CELM) and structural tolerance OS-CELM (STOS-CELM). OS-CELM is developed based on the circular extreme learning machine (CELM) to enable sequential learning. It can update a new chunk of data by spending less training time to update the chunk than the batch CELM. STOS-CELM is developed based on an idea similar to that of OS-CELM, but with a Householder block exact inverse QR decomposition (QRD) recursive least squares (QRD-RLS) algorithm to allow sequential learning and mitigate the criticality of deciding the number of hidden nodes. In addition, our experiments have shown that given the same hidden node setting, STOS-CELM can deliver accuracy comparable to a batch CELM approach and also has higher accuracy than the original online sequential extreme learning machine (OS-ELM) and structural tolerance OS-ELM (STOS-ELM) in classification problems, especially those involving high dimension datasets."

"ABSTRAKTransportasi merupakan sarana vital bagi manusia perkotaan saat ini. Di Indonesia sendiri, khususnya di Jakarta malah terjadi peledakan jumlah kendaraan hingga menyebabkan macet yang tak terhindarkan di setiap harinya.Untuk mengatasi kemacetan seperti ini, Pemerintah DKI Jakarta sedang mengembangkan transportasi massal yang aman dan nyaman seperti Transjakarta, Kopaja AC, Monorail, dll. Disaat masalah transportasi belum terpecahkan, muncul berbagai macam transportasi berbasis teknologi yang mudah dan menawarkan berbagai fitur dan harganya murah seperti misalnya Go-Jek, Blu-Jek, GrabTaxi, Uber, dan lain sebagainya. Diantara transportasi berbasis teknologi ini yang paling kontroversial adalah Uber. Hal ini dikarenakan Uber sangat disukai masyarakat namun banyak melanggar aturan sehingga dikecam oleh Pemerintah. Brand Activation adalah sebuah konsep yang dirasa mampu membedah fenomena ini. Konsep Brand Activation terdiri dari prduk, identitas, pegawai dan komunikasi. Dengan membedah ke-empat hal ini, dapat dilihat bahwa Uber telah melakukan Brand Activation. Tetapi sayang, Brand Activation yang dibangun Uber kurang maksimal sehingga timbul banyak masalah terutama dengan pemerintah.

ABSTRACT

Transportation becomes a vital element in the urban age nowadays. In Indonesia, especially in Jakarta, the very huge amount of vehicle causing one of the biggest problem in the daily activities of the citizens, traffic jam. To overcome this situation, the government of DKI Jakarta is now developing the mass transportation which is better than the previous, such as, Transjakarta, Kopaja AC, Monorail, etc. During this critical moment, where the problem has not been solved yet, another kinds of transportation like Go-Jek, Blu-Jek, GrabTaxi, and Uber, appears to be an alternative way. These technology-based transportation brings us a new feature in terms of simplicity, comfortness, and the cost as well. Among many technology-based transportation, Uber is considered to be the controversial one for the reason of infringement of the government regulation, contrary to the fact that Uber is well appreciated by the public. Brand Activation is a concept that regard as a way to dissect this phenomenon. This concept consists of product, identities, employee and communications. By dissecting these fourth elements, it can be seen that Uber has been doing the Brand Activation. Unfortunately, the Brand Activation which has been built by Uber is not maximal and it is impacted to emerge many problems especially with government."

"In a power supply (PLTU) located in West Sumatera Barat, water is massively utilized for boiler feed, chiller fire fighters, service water, and drinking water. This need is supplied by a river nearby as the only source. This raw water is subject to a pre-treatment unit to remove the contaminants.

This research was aimed to design a raw water pre treatment unit for utility in the power supply and to compare with the existing and operating treatment unit. The feed flow rate is 1,160 m3/hour. The design objective was to remove TSS pathogenic bacteria, and turbidity using coagulation, flocculation, sedimentation, disinfectant, and ultra filtration membrane. Static miter was used with pipe diameter I6 in. Flocculator has tubular size of (2x2) m3 with t00 m length. Clarifier was a horizontal flow type with surface of (40x20) m2 and depth 5,8 m. This clarifier has surface loading flow rate of 35 m3/m2 .d weir loading 250 m?/m.a' with weir length of 111,4 m. Ultra-filtration membrane treats only 30% of feed water (50 lmh flux) and need surface area of 13,290 m2. From the comparison we found that we do not the screening. Furthermore, we should modify the flocculator and clarifier, and replace the sand filtration unit with ulrraqiltration membrane."
