"ABSTRAKPolitik sebagai salah satu dimensi realitas memberikan sebuah tempat bagiberlangsungnya proses pengelolaan terhadap sistem kehidupan bersama. Politiktidak dapat lagi dipandang sebagai dimensi yang berlandaskan pada sebuahfondasi yang utuh dan tetap, yang mengatasi berbagai dimensi kehidupan lainnya,sehingga mengucilkan posisi politik sebagai sub-sistem. Pengucilan ini membuatpolitik kehilangan otonominya karena ia harus selalu berbasiskan fondasi yangtelah ditetapkan sebelumnya. Melalui pemikiran politik Ernesto Laclau, skripsi inimencoba menunjukan bahwa betapa politik adalah sebuah dimensi yang memilikiotonomi relatif, yang berlandaskan pada fondasi yang tidak tetap. Posisi inimembuat model pemikiran politik kontemporer lebih bercorak disensual daripadakonsensual, dan lebih memberikan tempat terhadap pluralitas di dalam sistemkehidupan bersama. Dengan membedakan antara The Politic dan The Political,ketidakmungkinan dari totalitas politik dalam mengelola sistem kehidupanbersama menjadi dapat ditunjukan. Paradoks antara kedua hal tersebut adalahsebuah ketegangan yang berdiri sebagai batas terluar dari antara masing-masingmereka. Pemikiran politik kontemporer yang bercorak post-foundastionalistdalam mengatasi permasalahan pluralitas pada sistem kehidupan bersama, tidakmenghilangkan dimensi etis dalam proses konstitusinya. Keberadaan dimensi etisini, sebagai sebuah momen etis, tidak mengurangi otonomi dari politik melainkanjustru berdiri sebagai batas terluar dari politik. Momen etis disini memungkinkanproses aktivasi dimensi The Political, yang kemudian memiliki potensi dalammengintervensi The Politic.

AbstractAs one sphere in reality, politic gives a place for the process of maintaining thesocial system. Politics can not be assumed as a dimension which founded by asingle totalized sphere of life, which has the supreme power to solve every socialproblems, and makes politic inferior as a subsystem. It makes the politic loss itsautonomy caused it must following the pattern of its foundation which have beentaken place before. Through Ernesto Laclau?s political thought, the author try toshowing the politic as a dimension which always having its relative autonomy andfounded by unstable foundation. This position make the contemporary politicalthought?s model tends to form a dissentient conception instead of consentient, andgiving a place for plurality in social system. By separating The Politic and ThePolitical, the impossibility of politic as totality in maintaining the social systemcan be showed. The paradoxal relation between them is a tension which makes aconceptual frontier for each of them. Post-Foundational political thought, whentrying to solve the problem of plurality, was not dismiss ethical dimension in theirprocess of constitution. The presence of ethical dimension, as ethical moment,does not diminish political?s autonomy, but take a stand as its frontier. Ethicalmoment gives the activation process of The Political possible, whereupon make itpotent to interventing The Politic."

"Ernesto Laclau membuka cakrawala baru dalam memahami yang-politis, saat politik dipahami semata-mata sebagai perkara administrasi, birokrasi dan teknokrasi. “Politik” direduksi menjadi sekadar “politik kepentingan”, artinya pencapaian kepentingan berbeda-beda yang ditentukan sebelumnya dan terpisah dari kemungkinan artikulasinya dalam diskursus-diskursus alternatif yang berkompetisi satu sama lain. Dengan cara berpikir demikian, maka konflik, antagonisme, relasi kekuasaan, bentuk-bentuk subordinasi, dan represi yang menjadi kekhasan wilayah politik menjadi hilang. Menurut Laclau, yang-politis hanya bisa dipahami di dalam logika populisme. Laclau memosisikan populisme justru sebagai jalan paling baik untuk memahami pembentukan ontologis dari yang-politik. Yang-politis hanya bisa dipahami dalam logika populisme. Laclau memahami populisme sebagai usaha unifikasi simbolik kelompok di seputar individu bagai suatu yang inheren untuk membentuk kesatuan “orang-orang”.

Ernesto Laclau has opened up a new horizon in understanding the concept of the political in a system that understood politics merely as administrative, bureaucratic and technocratic issues. The term “politics” has been reduced merely to ‘political interest’, which means that achieving these interests is different and determined in advance and separated from its possible articulation among competing discourses. Therefore, according to this reasoning, the specific characteristics of the political arena, namely conflicts, antagonisms, power relations, forms of subordination and repression, disappear from the equation. According to Laclau, the political can be understood only through the logic of populism. Laclau viewed populism as the best way to understand the ontological formation of the political. For Laclau, the symbolic unification of the group around an individuality is inherent to the formation of a “people”."

In 2001, the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAAOIFI) issued four Governance Standard for Islamic Financial Institution (GSIFI) to echance the governance for of the Shariah Supervisory Board (SSB) as well as provide guiding principles to harmonize the structure and process of the SSB. The objective of this paper is to contribute a literature review on the critical issues of corporate governance mechanisms in the Islamic Banks."
