"Akurasi peramalan permintaan sangat mempengaruhi kinerja sistem rantai pasok yang pada akhirnya berdampak langsung terhadap kesuksesan bisnis perusahaan. Peramalan yang akurat akan mampu memanfaatkan sumber daya perusahaan secara effisien. Namun, banyak perusahaan yang mengakui bahwa proses peramalan mereka tidak berjalan sebaik yang mereka harapkan. Kebanyakan perusahaan hanya menggunakan data masa lalu untuk meramalkan permintaan dimasa mendatang. Padahal data permintaan masa lalu tidak cukup untuk dijadikan dasar perkiraan permintaan dimasa mendatang. Terdapat beberapa independent variabel yang mempengaruhi jumlah permintaan produk seperti iklim, promosi, kanibalisasi, hari raya, harga produk, jumlah toko, jumlah penduduk dan pendapatan yang selalu berubah seiring waktu. Oleh karena itu perlu dibangun model yang mampu mengakomodasi fenomena tersebut. Metode yang diusulkan adalah regresi linier berganda, fuzzy regresi linier berganda dan jaringan saraf tiruan. Makalah ini menyajikan langkah-langkah peramalan yang disertai studi kasus pada produk insektisida. Hasilnya menunjukan bahwa peramalan yang dihasilkan metode ini lebih baik dari pada hasil peramalan yang dilakukan perusahaan.

The accuracy of demand forecasting greatly influences the performance of the supply chain system which ultimately has a direct impact on the business perfomance. Accurate forecasting will be able to utilize company resources efficiently. However, many companies admit that their forecasting process is not going as well as they expected. Most companies only use historical data to forecast future demand. Whereas past demand data is not enough to be used as the basis for future forecasts. There are several independent variables that affect the number of product demand such as climate, promotion, cannibalization, holidays, product prices, number of stores, population and income that always change over time. Therefore it is necessary to build a model that is able to accommodate this phenomenon. The proposed method is multi linear regression, fuzzy multi linear regression and artificial neural networks. This paper presents forecasting steps accompanied by case studies on insecticide products. The results shown that the proposed forecasting method more accurate than company forecast."

"Indeks Sentimen Konsumen (ISK) banyak digunakan sebagai pengukur keyakinan pembelian di masa mendatang untuk memprediksi perilaku pembelian agregat di masa datang. Studi ini secara empiris membandingkan antara dua model proyeksi : model pengharapan (the expectation model) yang memasukkan ISK sebagai variabel penjelasan dan model tradisional (the traditional model) yang tidak memasukkan ISK. Kedua modal tersebut digunakan untuk mengestimasi permintaan agregat atas mobil baru di Amerika sejak 1976 sampai 1984. Hasil studi mengindikasikan bahwa ISK memiliki hubungan positif dengan penjualan mobil baru. Namun, berdasarkan kemungkinan kriteria dominan (the likelihood dominance criterion), model tradisional lebih baik dibandingkan model pengharapan. Selain itu, kemampuan memprediksi dari model pengharapan sedikit lebih rendah dibandingkan model tradisional.

The index of consumer sentiment (ICS) has been widely employed as a proxy for future buying confidence to predict future aggregate buying behavior. This study empirically compares two forecast models: the expectation model that includes the ICS as an explanatory variable and the traditional model that does not include the ICS. The models are employed to estimate the aggregate demand for new cars in the U.S. from 1976 to 1984. The results indicate that the ICS has a positive relation with new car sales. On the basis of the likelihood dominance criterion, however, the traditional model is preferred to the expectation model. Furthermore, the forecast ability of the expectation model is slightly inferior to the traditional model."

"Penelitian ini mengusulkan perhitungan biaya produk dengan menggunakan metode Activity-Based Costing (ABC). Objek studi kasus adalah PT X, sebuah perusahaan e-commerce yang menjual produk organik lokal. Penurunan profitabilitas PT X ditengarai karena tidak akuratnya biaya produk sehingga pengambilan keputusan penetapan harga jual menjadi tidak tepat. Indikasi ketidakakuratan adalah informasi biaya produk yang tersedia saat ini hanya berasal dari pembelian bersih dan biaya overhead belum dialokasikan ke produk. Oleh karena itu, biaya overhead harus ditelusuri secara akurat ke produk untuk menghindari distorsi informasi biaya. Studi ini menelusuri biaya overhead ke produk menggunakan matriks Expenses-Activity-Dependence (EAD) dan Activity-Product-Dependence (APD) dalam studi kasus pada e-commerce yang belum banyak dibahas. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi studi kasus dan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dengan delapan responden serta analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menemukan perbedaan yang signifikan antara biaya produk dengan metode ABC dengan biaya produk saat ini tersedia di PT X. Perbedaan paling signifikan sebesar 139% terdapat pada produk isi ulang. Implikasinya PT X perlu menetapkan kembali harga jual berdasarkan biaya produk dengan metode ABC.

This study is to propose a product costing using the Activity-Based Costing (ABC) method. The object of the case study is PT X, an e-commerce company that sells local organic products. The decline in the profitability of PT X is presumed to be due to inaccurate product costs, leading to inappropriate decision-making regarding the selling price. Inaccuracy indicates that currently available product cost information only comes from net purchases. In contrast, overhead costs have not been allocated to products. Therefore, overhead costs must be accurately traced to products to avoid distortion of cost information. Previous studies on the ABC method mainly focused on manufacturing companies. This study traces overhead costs to products using Expense-Activity-Dependence (EAD) and Activity-Product-Dependence (APD) matrices in a case study on e-commerce that has not been widely discussed. This research uses a case study strategy and a qualitative approach. Data collection was done through interviews with eight respondents, plus document analysis. The study found a significant difference between product costs using the ABC method and the costs of products currently available at PT X. The most significant difference of 139% is in the refill product. The implication is that PT X needs to re-price its products based on product costs using the ABC method."

"Laporan Magang ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pengendalian internal PT MNK dalam proses GRPO, sebagai bagian dari tahap penerimaan barang, dalam proses pengadaan perusahaan. Penggunaan software SAP dalam proses GRPO telah terbukti membantu PT MNK dalam perbaikan kualitas sistem pengendalian internal perusahaan, sehingga dapat meminimalisir risiko-risiko yang terjadi pada proses pengadaan. Dalam menganalisis pengendalian internal PT MNK pada proses GRPO, digunakan perbandingan bagan alir terlebih dahulu untuk memastikan kejelasan alur penerimaan barang pada perusahaan. Selanjutnya, digunakan lima komponen aktivitas pengendalian untuk mengukur apakah aktivitas pengendalian internal PT MNK sudah tercapai atau belum. Sebagai hasil analisis, PT MNK diketahui telah melakukan upaya pengendalian melalui aktivitas pengendalian dan penerapan bagan alir dalam prosedur penerimaan barang. Meski demikian, terdapat upaya-upaya yang dapat dilakukan PT MNK untuk mengoptimalkan pengendalian internal perusahaannya, seperti menjelaskan bagan alir penerimaan barang dan menambah posisi baru sebagai pemeriksa dalam proses pengadaan. Selain menganalisis terkait pengendalian internal, kegiatan magang memberikan kesempatan untuk belajar mengenai software SAP dalam sistem akuntansi dan etika dalam bekerja. Pengalaman yang berharga tersebut diharapkan dapat menjadi bekal penulis yang dapat diterapkan dalam kerjaan kedepannya.

This Internship Report aims to analyze PT MNK's internal control system in the GRPO process, as part of the goods receipt stage, in the company's procurement process. The use of SAP software in the GRPO process has been proven to assist PT MNK in improving the quality of the company's internal control system, so as to minimize the risks that occur in the procurement process. In analyzing PT MNK's internal control in the GRPO process, a flow chart comparison is used first to ensure clearness of the flow of goods received at the company. Next, five components of control activities are used to measure whether PT MNK's internal control activities have been achieved or not. As a result of the analysis, PT MNK is known to have made efforts to control through control activities and the application of flowchart in the procedure of receiving goods. However, there are efforts that can be done by PT MNK to optimize the company's internal control, such as explaining the flow of goods receipt and adding new positions as inspectors in the procurement process. In addition to analyzing internal control, internships provide opportunities to learn about SAP software in accounting systems and work ethics. This valuable experience is expected to be a provision for writers who can be applied in future work.
