"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini membahas tentang bagaimana proses pendirian anak usaha dan perencanaan strategi anak perusahaan di industri perdagangan emas di Indonesia dari sebuah perusahaan gadai milik negara. Pendekatan penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah pendekatan exploratory research, dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan metode kualitatif. Metode kuantitatif dilakukan dengan cara melakukan riset dari sumber laporan keuangan dan berbagai laporan internal PT GLGP serta berbagai laporan statistik yang dikeluarkan berbagai instansi riset. Metode kualitatif dilakukan dengan cara melakukan wawancara, baik dengan pihak manajemen dari internal PT GLGP maupun dari beberapa ahli yang terkait dalam lingkup analisis seperti ahli hukum dan ahli emas. Hasil penelitian yang didapat adalah lembaga anak perusahaan yang didirikan akan berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas PT dengan nama baru yang akan disepakati bersama pihak internal PT GLGP. Lalu, setoran modal yang akan dipakai adalah setoran modal tunai secara langsung dari PT GLGP selaku induk usaha, ke anak perusahaan. Mengenai produk yang akan dipindahkan, maka produk yang sepenuhnya memiliki model bisnis jual beli secara tunai, akan dipindahkan ke anak perusahaan. Dari segi strategi posisitioning, anak perusahaan diarahkan untuk melakukan diversifikasi produk dengan fokus pada konsumen ritel melalui multi distribution channel. Untuk strategi yang akan diterapkan adalah efisiensi biaya internal dan intensifikasi penjualan untuk produk emas batangan. Sedangkan untuk produk perhiasan dan batu mulia, strategi yang digunakan adalah market entry strategy.

ABSTRACTThis research explains about how the subsidiary establishment and corporate strategic plan in the gold trading industry in Indonesia from state owned pawn company. The research appoch that writer use is exploratory research approach, through using quantitative method and qualitative method. Quantitative method is done by doing research from sources of financial reports and various internal reports of PT GLGP as well as various statistical reports issued by various research institution. Qualitative method is done by conducting interviews, both with the management of PT GLGP as well as from experts related in this scope of analysis such as lawyers and gold experts. The result of the research is that the establishment of a subsidiary institution will be in the form of a limited liability company PT with a new name that will be agreed with the internal parties of PT GLGP. Then, the capital deposit that will be used is cash capital deposit directly from PT GLGP as the parent company, to the subsidiary. Regarding the product to be moved, then the product that fully has a business model of buying and selling in cash, will be transferred to a subsidiary. In terms of positioning strategy, subsidiaries are directed to diversify their products with a focus on retail consumers through multi distribution channels. For the strategy to be applied is internal cost efficiency and sales intensification for gold bar product. As for jewelry and gem stones, the strategy used is the market entry strategy. "

"Artikel ini membahas mengenai pandangan majalah Star Weekly mengenai kebijakan Pembangunan Nasional Semesta Berencana. Metode penulisan menggunakan metode sejarah yang terdiri dari heuristik, verifikasi, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Metode lain yang digunakan adalah analisa isi untuk menganalisis artikel berita dari Star Weekly dalam artikel ini. Dalam melakukan tahap heuristik, sumber penulisan didapat dari arsip majalah Star Weekly yang tersedia serta berbagai buku dan artikel jurnal sebagai sumber sekunder. Majalah Star Weekly merupakan salah satu majalah paling terkemuka di kalangan Tionghoa Peranakan. Diterbitkan secara mingguan oleh Keng Po, Star Weekly diedarkan secara luas di Jakarta dengan P. K. Ojong sebagai pemimpin redaksi terakhir. Majalah Star Weekly membahas topik yang luas termasuk analisis politik, berita internasional, isu sosial, sampai tips terkait aktivitas sehari-hari. Memasuki tahun 1961, seiring dengan dijalankannya kebijakan pembangunan nasional secara besar-besaran oleh pemerintah era Demokrasi Terpimpin, Star Weekly melakukan peliputan rutin terhadap kebijakan tersebut dalam kurun waktu satu tahun. Star Weekly membawakan pemberitaan mengenai pembangunan nasional ini dengan sikap yang mendukung, khususnya mengenai pembangunan kota Jakarta dan usaha sensus penduduk. Pandangan Star Weekly yang penuh mendukung program pembangunan nasional ini merupakan bagian dari perubahan Star Weekly untuk bertahan. Usaha bertahan ini membuat Star Weekly lebih mengedepankan tulisan-tulisan yang bersifat informatif dan mendidik, termasuk dalam cara mereka menyajikan liputan perkembangan pembangunan nasional. Walau sudah mengganti strategi penyajian isi, Star Weekly tetap dibredel tahun 1961.

This article discusses about Star Weekly’s perspective regarding Indonesia’s Eight-year National Development Plan. This research applies the historical method which consists of heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. The content analysis method to analyse various news article from Star Weekly in this article. For the heuristics phase, primary sources were obtained from Star Weekly’s archive along with various books, articles as secondary sources. Star Weekly magazine was one of the leading magazine among the Chinese-Indonesian community. Published weekly by Keng Po, Star Weekly was distributed widely in Jakarta with P.K. Ojong as the last editor in chief. Star Weekly covered various topics including political analysis, international news coverage, and daily lifestyle tips. Entering 1961, the year of guided democracy era of Indonesia, the government enacted a full-scale national development plan. Star Weekly covered the topic regularly in a span of one year. Star Weekly presented reports about the national development in a supporting manner, particularly concerned on Jakarta’s development and population census efforts. Star Weekly’s support on the national development was one of the shift initiated by P.K. Ojong to survive the press oppression of the guided democracy era. This survival method caused Star Weekly to feature more informative and educational articles, also apparent in their writings about the national development plan. Star Weekly’s effort by changing their presentation strategy and obeying the press policy ended in vain as they got banned in 1961."

"Sepeda motor merupakan moda transportasi paling diminati masyarakat Indonesia. Dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, sepeda motor adalah moda transportasi yang paling pesat pertumbuhannya dibanding moda transportasi lainnya. Baru-baru ini Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha KPPU menilai harga satuan sepeda motor di Indonesia terlalu tinggi. KPPU menduga tingginya harga sepeda motor tersebut merupakan akibat adanya praktik kolusi berupa kartel dan penetapan harga dari para pelaku usaha di industri sepeda motor. Saat ini, industri sepeda motor berstruktur duopoli dengan pangsa terbesar dikuasai Honda dan Yamaha. Struktur pasar yang demikian memudahkan dilakukannya koordinasi antar pelaku usaha untuk mengurangi intensitas persaingan coordinated effect . Selain melihat tren struktur pasar, perlu juga dilakukan analisis mengenai performa dari industri dan kemungkinan adanya perilaku yang bertendensi anti persaingan untuk menilai apakah terdapat dugaan awal kolusi dalam industri sepeda motor di Indonesia. Hal-hal yang dipakai dalam menilai dugaan awal kolusi dalam sebuah industri sering disebut dengan faktor-faktor plus plus factors .

Motorcycle is the type of transportation that attracts most of Indonesian. For several years motorcycle has become fastest growing type of transportation compared with other types. Lately The Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition Komisi Pengawas Persaingan Usaha KPPU rates the unit price of motorcycle in Indonesia as too high. KPPU alleges the exorbitant price of motorcycle unit is resulted from the collusion practices likewise cartel and price fixing which conducted by players in motorcycle industry. The sense of such allegation came from the fact that motorcycle industry is dominated only by two major players, Honda and Yamaha, and lies on duopoly structure. Such market structure facilitates the coordinated effect by undertaking business actors to decrease the intensity of competition. Apart from seeing market structure trends, it is also needed to analyze the industry performance and any conduct that can be deemed as anti competition. Such analyses are needed to find whether there is any preliminary allegation regarding collusion in Indonesian motorcycle industry or not. The analyses which used to find such allegation are usually called plus factors ."

"Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi informasi telah mendorong perubahan strategi dan model bisnis di industri musik Indonesia. Internet of Things mengubah industri secara lebih dinamis dengan munculnya perkembangan teknologi dalam produksi, distribusi, dan konsumsi produk musik. Layanan streaming digital dan jejaring media sosial sangat memengaruhi semua aspek dalam bisnis. Meskipun penjualan produk musik fisik telah jatuh dan label rekaman sedang berjuang mengadaptasi bisnis mereka dalam beberapa tahun terakhir, lebih banyak peluang terbuka bagi artis independen untuk tumbuh dengan perubahan teknologi. Artis independen sekarang direkomendasikan untuk mendiversifikasi kegiatan bisnis secara independen dari fokus utama tradisional mereka pada kreativitas dan komposisi musik. Tantangan ini perlu dipahami secara integral, sehingga diperlukan pengembangan model konseptual untuk menjelaskan tantangan tersebut akibat model bisnis musik artis independen di industri musik Indonesia. Pendekatan sistem dinamis dilakukan untuk menentukan kompleksitas sistem dalam model. Kerangka model konseptual dibuat dalam bentuk diagram lingkaran kausal, untuk memberikan pemahaman yang lebih baik dalam menemukan titik ungkit bagi pelaku industri untuk beradaptasi.

Rapid development of information technology has driven changes in strategy and business model in Indonesian music industry. The Internet of Things transformed the industry more dynamically by the emergence of technological development in production, distribution and consumption of music products. Digital streaming services and social media networking are heavily affecting all of the aspects in the business. Although physical music product sales have been falling and record labels are struggling adapting their business in recent years, more opportunities are opened for independent artists to grow with the technological changes. Independent artists are now enabled and recommended to diversify business activities independently from their traditional main focus on creativity and music composition. This challenge needs to be understood integrally, so the development of a conceptual model is needed to explain the challenge due to the music business model of independent artist in Indonesian music industry. System dynamics approach is conducted to specify the complexity of the system in the model. The framework of the conceptual model is created in the form of a causal loop diagram, in order to give better understanding in finding the leverage point for the industry actors to adapt."
