"ABSTRAKTesis ini membahas mengenai manajemen operasional pada salah satu bank di Indonesia. Kegiatan operasional yang dianalisis adalah proses pencairan kredit, khususnya segmen otomotif, karena proses tersebut merupakan proses penting dalam operasional perbankan. Analisis berfokus pada penggunaan Critical Path Method (CPM) untuk mendapatkan gambaran terkait jalur kritis dari proses dan Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) untuk mendapatkan kemungkinan tercapainya penyelesaian proses sesuai dengan target yang ditentukan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa hampir setiap aktivitas dalam proses tersebut merupakan jalur kritis dan adanya kemungkinan sebesar 77% proses dapat diselesaikan sesuai target waktu yang ditetapkan.

ABSTRACT

This thesis discusses the operational management at one of the banks in Indonesia. The operational activity discussed in this thesis is related to credit disbursment process, in particular the automotive segment, because the process is an important process in the banking operations. Analysis focuses on the use of Critical Path Method (CPM) to get an overview of the process related to the critical path and Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) to give possibility in completing the process in accordance with the specified target. The analysis showed that almost every activity in the process is in the critical path and the possibility is 77% that process can be completed on targeted time."

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan metodologi untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip manufaktur bersandar di industri Jasa Courier Express. Bea Cukai adalah proses utama dalam industri kurir Ekspres dan tujuan di sini adalah untuk menerapkan prinsip-prinsip yang ramping untuk menghilangkan proses yang tidak memiliki nilai tambah dan parameter yang umum antara proses dan optimalisasi sumber daya manusia atau alokasi pekerja. Value Stream Mapping VSM digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi berbagai waste yang ada pada kondisi saat ini dan Critical Path Method CPM mengidentifikasi jalur kritis pada proses yang berlangsung saat ini. Model simulasi Current Value Stream Mapping dan Future State Mapping dikembangkan dengan menggunakan prinsip-prinsip lean dalam model simulasi. Desain proses perbaikan penjadwalan dilakukan dengan menganalisa jalur kritis proses Customs Clearance, dengan analisa jalur kritis kita dapat menentukan proses yang paling prioritas dan paling berpengaruh terhadap perbaikan menyeluruh. Perpaduan metode Value stream mapping dan Cricital Path Method didukung dengan metode benchmarking untuk mencari best practice yang telah dilakukan pada industri tersebut dan melakukan simulasi perbaikan sehingga diperoleh future state map dengan dengan jalur kritis baru yang lebih cepat yaitu percepatan waktu total proses customs clearance dari 936 menit sebelum diakukan perbaikan menjadi 389.6 menit setelah dilakukan perbaikan.

ABSTRACTThis research aims to develop a methodology for applying the principles of lean manufacturing in the service industry Courier Express. Customs is the main process in the industry express courier and the objective here is to apply lean principles to eliminate processes that have no added value and common parameters between the processes and optimization of resources humans or the allocation of workers. Value Stream Mapping VSM is used to identify a variety of waste on the current conditions and the Critical Path Method CPM identify the critical path in the process that takes place at this time. Model simulation of the Current Value Stream Mapping and Future State Mapping developed by using lean principles in the model simulation. The design of the repair process scheduling is done by analyzing the critical path process of Customs Clearance, with a critical path analysis we can determine the most process priority and most influential against the thorough repairs. A fusion method of Value stream mapping and Cricital Path Method supported by the method of benchmarking to finding best practice that has been done in the industry and doing the improvement so that the simulation generate a future state map with with the new critical path with faster acceleration time of customs clearance process from a total of 936 minutes before improvement and only required 389.6 minutes after improvements.
