"This is not a full list of the numerous books and articles on the subject of the book which have appeared since it was published. It includes some of the most important of them, particularly those which have persuaded me to revise some of the ideas expressed in the book, as well as a few earlier books which I failed to notice when I wrote it. I do not mention new editions of Arabic works, but I draw attention to a few translations of them. I have also taken the opportunity to correct a few mis-statements. For a full bibliography: J. "Penelitian ini membahas tentang penggunaan pungtuasi dalam suatu teks berupa Pakta Molotov-Ribbentropp 1939. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif-analitis, yaitu analisis kalimat dan pungtuasi, lalu mengidentifikasi pungtuasi berdasarkan penggunaan dalam kalimat. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan menjelaskan kalimat, jenis-jenisnya dan unsur pembentuknya. Kemudian membahas penggunaan pungtuasi di dalamnya. Dengan demikian, penggunaan ini dijadikan objek analisis dalam penelitian ini. Hasil analisis menunjukkan suatu simpulan bahwa terdapat dua jenis kalimat, yaitu kalimat sederhana dan kalimat majemuk, baik setara maupun bertingkat; serta empat jenis pungtuasi, yaitu titik, koma, titik dua dan tanda kurung dalam pakta tersebut. Penggunaan kalimat dan pungtuasi tersebut sesuai dengan teori yang digunakan. Selain itu, terdapat kalimat gabungan antara kalimat majemuk setara dan bertingkat dan penggunan pungtuasi dalam struktur penanggalan surat sebagai penemuan dalam penelitian ini.

This research covers about usage of punctuations in a text i.e. 1939 Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact. The method which is used i.e. analytic-descrptive, that is to analyze sentences and punctuations, then to identify punctuations by virtue of usage in the sentences. This research is begun in explaining sentences, their sorts and shaper elements. Then, covers punctuations which is used inside. Such was the case, these usages are be objects of analysis. Finally, the results of analysis show us the conclusions that there are two types of sentences, i.e. simple; also compound and complex sentence; then, four types of punctuations, i.e. period, comma, colon and parenthesis in the pact. The usage of the sentences and punctuations agrees with the theory which is used. In additional, there are the composite of compound and complex sentences; and usage of punctuations in a dating structure of correspodence as inventions in this research."
