"Tanaman Aloe vera, lidah buaya, telah diketahui memiliki manfaat dan khasiat yang mengagumkan baik untuk kesehatan dan kosmetik, maupun sebagai bahan baku obat-obatan. Khasiat tersebut disebabkan karena lidah buaya selain mengandung vitamin, asam amino dan mineral, juga mengandung senyawa polisakarida seperti, mukopolisakarida (MPS) yang diduga merupakan komponen utama yang memiliki aktivitas biologik. Pada penelitian in! telah dilakukan analisis MPS yang terkandung dalam daun lidah buaya segar-dengan berbagai perlakuan yang dibandingkan dengan kandungan MPS dalam produk hasil olahannya (produk minuman sehat) baik secara kualitatif (FTIR, KLT, dan KCKT) maupuin kuantitatif (metode gravimetri dan Folin Wu). Hasil analisis mengarahkan pada dugaan adanya kandungan MPS yang dapat dipertahankan pada produk minuman tersebut. Kadar MPS dalam lidah buaya segar dengan perlakuan I. II, ill, IV. dan dalam produk minuman berturut-turut sebesar 0,34%; 0,20%; 0,32%; 0,81%; dan 0,28%. Sedangkan, kadar gula pereduksi yang terkandung dalam lidah buaya segar dengan perlakuan I, II, III, IV sena produk minuman berturut-turut adalah sebesar 16,83%; 17.62%; 20,20%; 20,49 %, dan 19,01%."

"Kehidupan modern masyarakt saat ini tidak hanya menuntut mobilitas yang tinggi tetapi juga nilai-nilai kecantikan dan keindahan terhadap penampilan. Keinginan manusia khususnya wanita untuk tampil sempurna dimanfaatkan oleh sekelompok pelaku usaha dengan memperdagangkan kosmetik impor yang tidak memiliki izin edar kepada masyarakat, sehingga tampak bahwa produk yang ditawarkan memiliki harga yang lebih murah din=bandingkan kosmetik yang memiliki izin edar resmi. Ketentuan tentang pemasukan kosmetik diatur dalam Keputusan kepala Badan POM tnentang Pengawasan Pemasukan Kosmetik. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian hukum normatif yaitu penelitian terhadap aturan-aturan hukum tertulis dengan menggunakan studi kepustakaan dan wawancara. Dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlindungan Konsumen tidak ada pengaturan secara eksplisit mengenai kosmetik impor. Namun demikian, ketentuan Pasal 8 ayat (1) huruf a Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlindungan Konsumen dapat digunakan untuk menjerat atau memberikan konsekuensi hukum terhadap pelaku usaha yang memperdagangkan produk kosmetik tanpa memiliki izin edar. Agar kepentingan konsumen dapat terlindungi secara sempurna oleh sebab itu diperlukan pengaturan secara spesifik dan tegas di dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 8 Tahun 1999 Tentang Perlindungan Konsumen kosmetik impor.

In modern life today's, societies required not only high mobility but also the value of beauty and appearance. Human desire to be perfect, especially woman have been exploited by a group og business actors with trade in imported cosmetics that did not have the authorization to the public, so its look like their product cheaper than the others one. The regulations about cosmetic import arranged in the Decree of Head of National Agency of Drug and Food Control of RI. In this research, it used the normative law research that is research of written law which based research on literature and interviews. The act No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection there is no explicit regulation of the import cosmetic. However, the provisions of Article 8 paragraph (1) of the act No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection can be used to deceive or give legal consequences to business that sell import cosmetic without authorization. In order to protect consumers' interests perfectly, it is necessary to arrange specifically and explicitly in the Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection regarding import cosmetic."

"Dengan meningkatnya penggunaan internet, sekarang media sosial digunakan untuk mendapatkan informasi, seperti informasi mengenai produk kecantikan. Salah satu sumber informasi yang sering digunakan adalah beauty vlogger. Penelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh ulasan oleh beauty vlogger Suhay Salim sebagai electronic word of mouth dan faktor psikologis pembelajaran dan persepsi produk terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan dengan melakukan studi pada generasi milenial yang pernah menonton video ulasan produk Aloe Vera Gel Nature Republic oleh Suhay Salim. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan survei penyebaran kuesioner secara online yang berdasarkan teknik simple random sampling terhadap 118 orang sampel. Model penelitian diuji dengan analisis regresi berganda melalui SPSS dan memperlihatkan bahwa e-WOM serta faktor psikologis secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap proses pengambilan keputusan.

With the emergence of internet usage, nowadays social media are being used as an information source. One of the information source is beauty vlogger. The objective of this research is to analyze the influence of ulasan by a beauty vlogger, Suhay Salim, as electronic word of mouth and psychological factor of learning and perception of the product towards decision making process. The study will be focusing on milenials who have watched Suhay Salim rsquo s video ulasan of Nature Republic Aloe Vera Gel. This quantitative research uses survey by distributing online questionnaire to 118 samples using simple random sampling method. This research is using multiple regression analysis with SPSS and it shows that there are influence between e WOM and psychological factors towards decision making process."

"Skripsi ini membahas pengaturan peredaran kosmetik impor serta perlindungan konsumen produk kosmetik impor. Skripsi ini juga membahas pengawasan peredaran kosmetik impor, pelanggaran-pelanggaran yang dilakukan pelaku usaha dalam peredaran produk Meei Yung Whitening Day Cream, serta upaya hukum yang dapat dilakukan konsumen terhadap pelanggaran tersebut. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian hukum normatif. Hasil penelitian menyarankan bahwa konsumen dalam membeli produk kosmetik sebaiknya menerapkan prinsip kehati-hatian; diadakan kerja sama antara Badan POM dengan pihak Kepabeanan dalam pengawasan produk kosmetik impor;diadakan sosialisasi, edukasi mengenai kosmetik yang memenuhi standar kosmetik yang baik kepada masyarakat; penyuluhan tentang Undang-Undang Perlindungan Konsumen; pelaku usaha menerapkan standar baku produk kosmetik yang baik.

The focus of this study is a concern about the regulation of imported cosmetics and consumer protection toward imported cosmetics. This study, also analysis the control of imported cosmetics distribution, the violation made by producer in the distribution of Meei Yung Whitening Day Cream, and consumer?s efforts against those violation. This research is a normative law research.

The researcher suggest consumers to using carefulness principal before they buy any of cosmetic product; Bilateral cooperation between Badan POM and Pabean Authority for the imported cosmetics control; socialization, education program about Standard of Good Cosmetics product; socialization about consumer protection law in Indonesia; importer, distributor, producer of cosmetic products should be enforce by the law of consumer protection."

"ABSTRACTAloe Vera is one of plant that can be used as food and traditionaltreatment. In traditional treatment, this plant has effect on healingacceleration of oral mucous ulceration. In dentistry, this plant can be used as oral mucous ulceration treatment. The aim of this research is to examine the effective dose of Aloe Vera inner leaf extract on healing acceleration of oral mucous ulceration. Twelve Sprague Dawley rats were used in this research, and divided into 2 groups, 3 rats to control group and 9 rats to treatment group. Each rat received application of hydrogen peroxide 10% to create ulceration. Control group received application of NaCl 0.9% for 3,5,7 days. Treatment group received application 6.25%, 12.5%, and 25% Aloe Vera Inner Leaf Extract for 3,5,7 days. Wound healing was observed by in histological method with light microscope, and then was scored using stages of inflammation score of Schlossberg & Ferigino and Eda. S & Fukuyama methods. Statistical analysis with Mann Whitney and Kruskal Wallis methods showed that Aloe Vera inner leaf extract 25% is the most effective concentration on healing acceleration of oral mucousulceration (p< 0,05).
