"Informasi tentang model yang sedang berada di line produksi PT Sanken Indonesia sangat dibutuhkan untuk mengoptimalkan kinerja personil bagian kontrol kualitas. Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan rancang bangun papan informasi elektronik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan memenuhi keterbatasan PT Sanken Indonesia. Papan informasi elektronik terdiri dari ATMega8535 sebagai pengolah dan peyimpan data, LCD untuk tampilan informasi tulisan bagi operator, power supply, dot matrix display serta melibatkan PS2 keyboard untuk memasukkan data. Dot matrix sebagai perangkat display dapat menampilkan tulisan bergeser dengan kriteria kecepatan looping 3.06s dan setiap karakter dapat dimunculkan dengan selang waktu sekitar 95ms. Perangkat ini juga mampu menyimpan data kendati terjadi hubungan putus listrik.

Information about models which are running on the production line of PT. Sanken Indonesia is needed to optimize the performance of quality control personnel. In this project an electronic information board design for special purpose that suits the needs and meet the limitations of PT. Sanken Indonesia is conducted. Electronic information board is consist of ATMega8535 as data processing and storage, LCD to display text information for operators, power supply, dot matrix display and involves PS2 keyboard to enter data. Dot matrix display device can display the article shifts with speed loops 3,06s and each character can be raised at intervals of about 95ms. This device is also capable of storing data occurred despite broken electrical connection."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang implementasi software driver keyboard dengan menggunakan AVR ATxmega 256 A3BU sebagai microcontroller-nya. Software keyboard yang dibangun menggunakan sensor touch sebagai mekanisme input. Untuk mendapatkan akses ke setiap port USB yang ada pada PC perlu diketahui bagaimana sistem protokol USB. Oleh karena itu pada skripsi ini akan dijelaskan bagaimana sistem protokol USB yang telah diimplementasikan pada program. Hardware keyboard yang digunakan terdiri dari 32 channel yang dilengkapi dengan sebuah sensor touch untuk setiap channel-nya. Metode yang digunakan untuk membangun software ini berdasarkan requirement 32 channel adalah metode QMatrix acquisition yang telah ditentukan oleh library QTouch Atmel.

This thesis discusses the keyboard software implementation by using AVR ATxmega 256 A3BU as its micrococontroller. Software keyboard was built using touch sensors as the input mechanism. To gain access to any USB port on the PC we need to know how the USB protocol system is. Therefore in this thesis will be explained how the USB protocol system that has been implemented in the program. The hardware of this keyboard has 32 channels where each channel consists of a touch sensor. The method used to build software based on this 32 channel requirement is QMatrix Acquisition method in Atmel QTouch library."

"Pada skripsl ini dibuat perangkat pengganti keyboard dengan menggunakan pesawat telepon sebagai bagian dari sistem minimum komputer untuk melakukan hubungan dengan intemet. Perangkat ini dirancang agar dapat menghasilkan fasilitas - fasilitas tertentu yang sering digunakan dalam keyboard, seperti huruf, backspace, space bar dan enter. Dan juga dirancang agar pemakaian pesawat telepon untuk melakukan komunikasi biasa tidak terganggu. Untuk mengaktifkan perangkat ini digunakan kode tombol tertentu (tombol fungsi). Sebagai sinyal informasi digunakan sinyal DTMF dan unit antar muka pada perangkat ini adalah PPI 8255. Dari hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, perangkat ini dapat mendeteksi adanya panggilan yang masuk, serta dapat mencegah pengiriman sinyal DTMF dari pesawat telepon Iangsung ke sentral dan juga dapat mendeteksi apakah pengguna ingin melakukan hubungan intemet atau hubungan pembicaraan biasa.

In this script, a keyboard replacement device is created using a telephone as part of a minimum computer system to connect to the internet. This device is designed to be able to produce certain facilities that are often used in the keyboard, such as letters, backspace, space bar and enter. And also designed so that the use of the telephone to make regular communication is not disturbed. To activate this device, a certain button code (function button) is used. As an information signal, the DTMF signal is used and the interface unit on this device is PPI 8255. From the results of the trials carried out, this device can detect incoming calls, and can prevent the sending of DTMF signals from the telephone directly to the exchange and can also detect whether the user wants to make an internet connection or a regular conversation connection.

"A system consists of input, process, and output. User interface is a place for users to interact in the system where one of the functions is as input facility of the system. One of the input tools is keyboard. With the development of touchscreen, then virtual keyboard is required. A good interface must be able to be used easily especially for novice users. The usability testing is required to know the usability level of the interface. A good usability has characteristics of effective to use (effectiveness), efficient to use (efficiency), safe to use (safety), having good utility (utility), easy to learn (learnability) and easy to remember how to use (memorability). Usability testing is an evaluation approach involving users. With usability testing, it is expected that it can give positive inputs in designing an interface especially virtual keyboard interface mainly with the characteristics of easy to learn (learnability), and easy to remember how to use (memorability) so that the resulted design can have good usability level

"ABSTRACT
The use of smartphones and handheld devices in our daily activities has sharply increased. The added features of wireless technology and related applications on these devices make it possible to write emails, notes, and long text. Even though the most commonly used electronic input device is a keyboard, very little work has been dedicated for finding an optimal layout for this device. In this research, the aim is to propose a better layout for the single-finger keyboard in terms of rapid typing. The keyboard layout problem can be formulated as a quadratic assignment problem, which is one of the hardest combinatorial optimization problems. Some well-known literary works in English are chosen for estimating the keying-in-time. A variant of genetic algorithm, namely, the estimation of distribution algorithms is used to find a better layout. The new layout is found to be efficient compared with some of the existing prominent keyboard layouts."

"[Industri elektronik merupakan komoditas perdagangan terbesar di ASEAN. Kebutuhan terhadap barang elektronik terus meningkat setiap tahunnya sehingga petumbuhan permintaan komponen elektronik juga terus meningkat. Dengan semakin meningkatnya permintaan komponen elektronik, kecepatan aliran bahan baku dengan kualitas terjaga mutlak diperlukan. Pembuatan model sistem informasi dalam proses inspeksi mutu bahan baku menjadi hal yang penting. Belum adanya integrasi sistem informasi pada inspeksi mutu bahan baku
mengakibatkan banyaknya aktifitas tidak bernilai saat melakukan pekerjaan. Metodologi IDEF0 digunakan untuk membuatu model peta proses aliran informasi. Penelitian ini menggambarkan model aliran proses informasi aktual saat ini (As Is) yang didapatkan dari Focus Group Discussion (FGD) dan model alternatif aliran proses informasi (To Be) yang dapat mengurangi aktifitas tidak bernilai saat melakukan inspeksi dengan validasi melalui wawancara Expert. Dengan pemanfaatan IDEF0, Business Process Reengineering (BPR) dapat
dilakukan pada aktifitas inspeksi mutu bahan baku di manufaktur komponen elektronik. Alternatif aliran proses informasi yang didapatkan adalah aliran informasi yang menggunakan database di server sebagai pusat data dan dokumen inspeksi, serta rangkuman masalah bahan baku yang pernah terjadi sehingga operator tidak perlu melakukan aktifitas yang mengarah pada inefisiensi;The electronics industry is the largest trading commodity in ASEAN. With the increasing demand of electronic components, the incoming parts flow rate with maintained quality is absolutely necessary. The lack of information systems integration on incoming part quality inspection draw in many activities with no value added. IDEF0 methodology used to map the information flow models. This study illustrates the flow model of current actual information process (As Is) obtained from the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and the alternative model of the flow of information process (To Be) that can reduce the activity with no value added and it has already validated from Expert Interview. With the utilization of IDEF0, Business Process Reengineering (BPR) can be carried on the activity of the incoming part quality

"Pusat informasi kompas merupakan sebuah lembaga informasi yang menyimpan dan mengelola arsip berita elektronik. Arsip berita elektronik yang dikelola merupakan arsip yang tidak dapat dihapuskan karena memiliki nilai komersil dan memiliki nilai sejarah terkait konten dari berita tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan memiliki tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengelolaan arsip berita elektronik pada pusat sumber informasi kompas dan mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi oleh pusat informasi kompas dalam mengelola arsip berita elektronik. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Data yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan wawancara dan observasi terhadap informan yang berjumlah lima orang yang dipilih berdasarkan kegiatan pengelolaan arsip berita elektronik dan hasil pemanfaatan arsip berita elektronik.Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pengelolaan arsip berita elektronik memiliki perbedaan dengan pengelolaan arsip elektronik karena dalam pengelolaan arsip berita elektronik tidak dilakukan tahap retensi. Dalam melakukan pengelolaan arsip berita elektronik, pusat informasi kompas menghadapi hambatan pada masalah teknis, seperti teknologi yang terbatas untuk sebuah sistem pengelolaan arsip berita.

Kompas Information Center is an information center that store and manage electronic news archive. Kompas Information Center store and manage electronic news archive that can rsquo t be eliminated or deleted because it contain a commercial and historical value that related with the electronic news archive. This research has been done to gives a description about how Kompas information center manage their electronic news archive and to identify the difficulties that their dealing with. This study is a qualitative study with a descriptive design. The research data that include in this study were obtained by interview and observation with five informant who are related to electronic news archive management and utilization activity.This study shows that electronic news archive management activity is different than electronic archive management activity because there is no retention in the electronic news archive management activity. Kompas Information Center has some techincal difficulties in managing the electronic news archive."
