"Perkembangan teknologi mengakibatkan munculnya gejala globalisasi dalam kebudayaan. Dalam bidang arsitektur, sebuah tempat kehilangan sense of place karena nilai-nilai lokal ditiadakan demi tercapainya sebuah globalisasi. Globalisasi menjadi pemicu munculnya sebuah theme park. Awal mula theme park ialah sebuah eksibisi hasil industri yang diadakan pada tahun 1851, yaitu World - s Fair. Tiap negara peserta eksibisi bermaksud untuk menghadirkan tema negaranya ke dalam area pameran. Theme park identik dengan sebuah taman rekreasi. Air sebagai unsur paling melimpah di dunia memiliki banyak fungsi, salah satunya sebagai sarana rekreasi. Taman rekreasi yang menggunakan air sebagai elemen utamanya adalah water park. Pada water park, air dapat menjadi sebuah tema tersendiri, namun yang marak terjadi sekarang ini ialah terjadi penambahan tema dalam sebuah water park. Tanpa disadari, pemberian tema adalah sebuah budaya pengkopian yang merupakan hasil dari gejala simulasi dan hiper-realitas. Sebuah referensi akan mengalami pergeseran makna ketika referensi berubah menjadi sebuah replika. Skripsi ini akan membahas mengapa tema di dalam sebuah water park menjadi penting, gejala apa yang muncul, dan apa maknanya bagi pengguna Studi kasus yang diambil ialah Atlantis Water Adventure di Ancol. Tema Atlantis yang diambil merupakan sebuah referensi dari Atlantis mitologi Yunani. Dalam sebuah water park, tema menjadi penting karena pengembang lebih mementingkan tren. Pemaknaan tema oleh pengelola belum dapat tersampaikan sepenuhnya kepada pengunjung karena pengunjung tidak memiliki referensi tentang Atlantis.

The development of technology cause globalization appeared in human culture. In architectural sector, a place will lost its sense because the local value is disappeared and replaced by global value. Theme parks also appear because of globalization. The origin of a theme park is an exhibition about industrial product, which was held in 1851. The exhibition called World's Fair. In the exhibition, each country wanted to 'bring' their country to their court. Theme park is identified with recreational place. Water as the plentiest element in the world has many benefits, one of it is being used as recreational purpose. Recreational place which use water as the primary element is a water park. In a water park, water has become the theme, but the addition of theme in a water park is the commonly thing happen in this early days. Unconsciously, a theme is a 'culture of copy' which is related with simulation and hyper-reality. The meaning of the reference will decrease when the reference turn into the imitation one. This minithesis will reveal why a theme is really important for a water park and find the meaning of a theme for the developer and the visitors. I chose Atlantis Water Adventures at Ancol as the case study. This water park use Atlantis in Greek philosophy to be the reference of the theme. In a water park, a theme become important because the developer only think about the selling value which is related with the trend. But, most of the visitors of Atlantis Water Adventures can't accept the meaning of the theme because they don't have reference about the real Atlantis."

"Huruf kanji yang digunakan di Jepang berasal dari Tiongkok, dengan adaptasi bentuk, pelafalan maupun makna. Setiap guratan huruf kanji merupakan tanda atau lambang yang merepresentasikan makna atau suatu konsep. Bagi pengguna Bahasa Jepang non penutur jati, rumitnya bentuk kanji menjadi salah satu kesulitan dalam memahami kanji. Tulisan ini membahas salah permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh penutur asing terkait kanji, yaitu bagaimana kontribusi makna komponen pembentuk kanji terhadap makna kanji. Apabila kanji memiliki komponen pembentuk kanji atau radikal, makna kanji tersebut memiliki perbedaan makna dengan kanji yang tidak memiliki komponen. Ini bisa membingungkan pengguna Bahasa Jepang non penutur jati yang mengetahui cara baca kanji namun tidak mengetahui perubahan makna kanji.
Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis dan mencari keterkaitan makna atau konsep air yang direpresentasikan melalui radikal air. Penelitian ini difokuskan pada 19 buah kanji beradikal air yang muncul pada pembelajaran kanji dasar, dan dilakukan dengan menelusuri pembentukan kanji, menganalisis makna dan konsep air, melalui Teori Bushu, Teori Makna dan Teori Semiotika.
Kanji yang beradikal air memiliki tiga makna, yaitu makna air secara fisik, perluasan makna air, dan makna air secara tidak langsung. Makna air secara fisik yaitu makna yang memiliki arti langsung dan hubungan dengan air. Perluasan makna air memiliki makna air pada zaman dulu, namun sekarang kanji yang memiliki perluasan makna digunakan untuk sesuatu yang memiliki kesamaan. Makna air secara tidak langsung merupakan makna yang tidak ada hubungan atau arti air.

The kanji letters used in Japan come from China, with forms of adaptation, pronunciation and meaning. Each stroke of kanji letter is a sign or symbol that represents meaning or a concept. For non-Japanese speakers, the complexity of kanji forms is one of the difficulties in understanding kanji. This paper discusses the wrong problems faced by foreign speakers regarding kanji, namely how the contribution of the meaning of the kanji-forming components to the kanji meanings. If kanji has a kanji forming component or radical, the meaning of the kanji has a different meaning from the kanji which has no component. This can confuse non-Japanese speakers who know how to read kanji but do not know the changes in the meaning of kanji.
This study aims to analyze and look for the relevance of the meaning or concept of water represented by water radicals. This study focused on 19 water-based kanji which appeared in basic kanji learning, and was done by tracing kanji formation, analyzing the meaning and concept of water, through the Bushu Theory, Meaning Theory and Semiotic Theory.
Kanji, which has water radical, has three meanings, namely the meaning of water physically, the expansion of the meaning of water, and the meaning of water indirectly. The meaning of water is physically meaning that has direct meaning and relationship with water. The expansion of the meaning of water has the meaning water in ancient times, but now the kanji which has an expansion of meaning is used for something that has similarities with water. The meaning of water indirectly is a meaning that has no relationship or meaning of water.

"Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) negatif yang dialami oleh Tropicana Water Park (TWP) Cimone dinilai sebagai krisis yang mengancam citra dan mempengaruhi minat pengunjung untuk datang. Keberhasilan Tropikana Water Park Cimone dalam memperbaiki rating dari 2,9 menjadi 4,1 dengan 934 ulasan dari pengunjung tidak akan terjadi jika tidak menerapkan strategi khusus dalam menangani eWOM negatif. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan strategi komunikasi dalam menangani eWOM negatif pada Tropikana Water Park. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif dan menggunakan paradigma post positivisme. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa TWP berhasil mengembalikan kepercayaan pengunjung dan memperbaiki citranya sebagai destinasi wisata yang menarik dengan penerapan strategi komunikasi yang komprehensif dan responsif. Strategi yang diterapkan oleh Tropikana Water Park dilandasi oleh teori Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) dan image repair. Tropikana melakukan mortification dan corrective action dalam strateginya yaitu dengan tidak melepas tanggung jawab dan meminta maaf serta melakukan tindakan korektif. Keberhasilan ini terbukti dari respons positif pengunjung yang kembali datang setelah krisis. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa dengan menggunakan SCCT dan image repair, TWP berhasil mengembalikan kepercayaan pengunjung dan memperbaiki citranya sebagai destinasi wisata yang menarik.

Negative Electronic Word of Mouth (eWOM) that experienced by Tropikana Water Park (TWP) Cimone is considered as a crisis that threatens its image and affects the potential visitors to come. Tropikana Water Park Cimone's success in improving its rating from 2.9 to 4.1 with 934 reviews from visitors would not have happened if it had not implemented a special strategy in dealing with negative eWOM. The purpose of this study was to describe communication strategies in dealing with negative eWOM at Tropikana Water Park. The research method used is a qualitative method with descriptive design and using the paradigm of post positivism. The results showed that TWP managed to restore the trust of visitors and improve its image as an attractive tourist destination with the implementation of a comprehensive and responsive communication strategy. The strategy applied by Tropikana Water Park is based on The Theory of Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT) and image repair. Tropikana carries out mortification and corrective action in its strategy, namely by not abdicating responsibility and apologizing and taking corrective action.This success is evident from the positive response of visitors who returned after the crisis. The conclusion of this study shows that by using SCCT and image repair, TWP managed to restore the trust of visitors and improve its image as an attractive tourist destination."

"Analisa kelayakan finansial dalam proyek investasi konstruksi Water Parks tidak cukup untuk memastikan proyek tersebut dapat dieksekusi. Hal tersebut dikarenakan kondisi pertimbangan saat ini tidak mungkin selalu sama dengan masa yang akan datang. Oleh karena itu keterlibatan analisa risiko sebagai input pendukung analisa kelayakan fmansial sangat penting keberadaannya. Sebagai tahap awal dalam analisa risiko diperlukan proses identifikasi risiko dengan melibatkan para pakar. Dari proses tersebut dapat diidentifikasi risiko-risiko yang kemungkinan teriadi dalam investasi Water Parks serta probabilitasnya masing-masing, dengan menggunakan metode Analitical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Sehingga diperoleh risiko yang paling besar adalah risiko suku bunga SBI dengan probabilitas 0.091. Dan sebagai tahap selanjutnya teknik analisa risiko adalah Simulasi Monte Carlo. Simulasi dengan bantuan perangkat lunak Crystall Ball 2000 ver. 5.2 melalui keterlibatan skenario risiko tarif masuk dan biaya pembebasan tanah, dan kemudian merandom faktor inflasi, tingkat suku bunga, potensial konsumen. Sehingga menghasilkan berbagai tingkat kelayakan untuk distribusi NPV dan IRR, antara lain probabilitas kelayakan NPV hampir 98%, dan probabilitas kelayakan IRR < MARR 14% senilai 8.60% ketika tarif masuk sesuai harapan investor dan tidak ada kenaikan biaya pembebasan tanah.

Feasibility study is not enough to make sure the investment project Water Park can be executed. It caused feasible input for the future is uncertainty. Therefore, incorporating risk analysis as supported input in feasible capital budgeting and investment is really important. First phase in risk analysis is identifying the risks by involve the expert. This phase has identified the risks and their likelihood of Water Parks Project, by Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. And the big risk is SBI rate as discounted rate risk with the likelihood of 0.091. And the next step to analyse the risk is use Monte Carlo simulation. Simulation with Crystal! Ball software ver. 5.2 regarding scenario of ticket price risks and land acquisition cost risk and then randomize of additional risk such as inflation rate, discount rate, potencial of consument. So that results several certainty level for NPV and IRR, for example 98% certainty level for NPV, and 8.60% certainty level for IRR < MARR 14% while the ticket price is suitable for investor and no added cost for the land acquisition."

"Skripsi ini membahas mengenai bentuk penokohan, cara pandang tokoh terhadap dunia rekaan, serta bagaimana hal tersebut mampu mendukung tema yang ingin di sampaikan pengarang, Park Wan Seo pada novelnya Namok. Dalam menganalisis hal tersebut, penulis menggunakan teori fokalisasi dengan pertimbangan bahwa tokohlah yang melihat peristiwa-peristiwa di dalam cerita. Hasil analisis mengindikasikan bahwa fokalisasi di dalam novel ini adalah fokalisasi internal, dengan tokoh utama berbentuk bulat yang menjadi subjek fokalisasi. Fokalisasi ini mampu mendukung tema yakni proses pendewasaan, yang tercermin dari perubahan pola pikir dan pandangannya.

This thesis explain about character form, her view about storyworld, and how its support the theme which author, Park Wan Seo wants share on her novel, Namok. Researcher use focalization theory while analysis the subject matter, with consideration in character viewpoint whom sees each event in a story. The analysis indicate focalization in this novel as internal focalization, and the main character with his round characteristic as a focalizing subject. This focalization could support maturity process as a theme, which can see from the change in her perspective and thought. "
