"Kabuki merupakan seni pertunjukan tradisional yang sudah ada di akhir periode Azuchi Momoyama. Dalam perkembangannya Kabuki mengalami banyak perubahan untuk menysesuaikan dengan perkembangan zaman. Tesis ini membahas tentang pelestarian Kabuki yang dilakukan melalui transformasi digital. Pemerintah Jepang pada awal era Meiji menganggap bahwa pelestarian Kabuki sangatlah penting karena merupakan salah satu warisan budaya yang kaya dan untuk menarik wisatawan. Tesis ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif yang diperoleh dari buku, dokumentasi, arsip, majalah dan media masa online serta media sosial yang berkaitan dengan perkembangan Kabuki. Dengan berbagai perkembangan dan penyesuaian selera agar pertunjukan Kabuki tetap dipertahankan. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bentuk revitalisasi Kabuki melalui trasformasi digital seperti Cho Kabuki yang berkolaborasi dengan Vocaloid Hatsune miku dan dibekali dengan berbagai teknologi canggih seperti Kirari, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), dan Extended Reality (XR). Teknologi-teknologi ini sampai sekarang masih terus dikembangkan agar dapat menyesuaikan dengan selera dan digemari oleh generasi masa kini.
Kabuki is a traditional performing art that has been present since the end of the Azuchi-Moyama period. In its development, Kabuki has undergone many changes to adapt to the times. This thesis discusses the preservation of Kabuki is carried out through digital transformation. The Japanese government in the early Meiji era considered the preservation of Kabuki to be crucial because it is one of the rich cultural heritages and to attract tourists. This thesis uses qualitative research methods obtained from books, documentation, archives, magazines, online mass media, and social media related to the development of Kabuki. With various developments and adjustments to suit tastes, Kabuki performances are preserved. The results of the research show the revitalization of Kabuki through digital transformation, such as Cho Kabuki collaborating with Vocaloid Hatsune Miku and equipped with various advanced technologies such as Kirari, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Mixed Reality (MR), and Extended Reality (XR). These technologies are still being developed to adapt to the tastes and preferences of the present generation."

"Cerita Ramayana tidak hanya berkembang di Indonesia saja, tapi hampir seluruh negara di Asia Tenggara sudah tersebar cerita Ramayana. Salah satu kawasan geografis yang unik dalam budaya Melayu penting mendapatkan perhatian, yakni Malaysia. Wayang kulit Melayu Kelantan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari pengaruh yang melekat di dalamnya yakni Jawa dan Thailand. Cerita Ramayana tidak lepas dari kisah perjuangan Sri Rama dan Rahwana yang ingin mendapatkan atau menikahi Dewi Shinta untuk menjadi istrinya. Realisasi gagasan pada pergelaran meskipun pada umumnya sama pada alur cerita Ramayana yang sudah tersebar luas di Asia Tenggara dan sekitarnya, mengalami perubahan pada masing – masing wilayah. Terbukti dalam alur cerita yang dirangkai dalam pergelaran wayang kulit lakon “Sayembara Sita” yang dipentaskan oleh dalang Pak Nasir Yussof dan dalang Ki Cahyo Kuntadi. Penulis mengambil studi kasus Strategi Naratif dan Kreativitas Teatrikal Citra dan Simbol dalam Pertunjukan Wayang Kulit Lakon “Sayembara Sita” Karya Ki Cahyo Kuntadi (Indonesia) dan Pak Nasir Yussof (Malaysia), untuk mengetahui bagaimana citra dan simbol dari tokoh Sita yang dikemas melalui strategi naratif yang memiliki unsur tokoh penokohan, rangkaian adegan, serta latar tempat, waktu dan social. Selain strategi naratif yang disusun oleh dalang, kreativitas teatrikal juga menentukan bagaimana citra dan symbol itu bisa terlihat pada sebuah karya pertunjukan wayang yang beberapa unsur diantaranya meliputi garap wicara, garap musik, gerak wayang, dan klasifikasi tokoh wayang pada wayang kulit purwa gaya Surakarta dan wayang Kelantan Melayu. untuk meneliti hal tersebut, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, dan komparasi budaya / sastra, serta melakukan wawancara berbagai narasumber untuk memperkuat informasi terkait permasalahan yang akan diangkat pada tulisan ini.
Ramayana stories are not only developed in Indonesia, but almost all countries in Southeast Asia have spread Ramayana stories. One geographical area that is unique in Malay culture deserves attention, namely Malaysia. Kelantan Malay shadow puppetry cannot be separated from its inherent Javanese and Thai influences. The Ramayana story cannot be separated from the story of the struggle of Sri Rama and Rahwana who want to get or marry Dewi Shinta to become his wife. The realization of ideas in the performance, although generally the same in the Ramayana storyline that has been widespread in Southeast Asia and beyond, has changed in each region. This is evident in the storyline that is assembled in the shadow puppet play "Sayembara Sita" performed by puppeteer Mr. Nasir Yussof and puppeteer Ki Cahyo Kuntadi. The author takes a case study of Narrative Strategy and Theatrical Creativity of Images and Symbols in the Wayang Kulit Play "Sayembara Sita" by Ki Cahyo Kuntadi (Indonesia) and Pak Nasir Yussof (Malaysia), to find out how the images and symbols of the character Sita are packaged through a narrative strategy that has elements of characterization, a series of scenes, as well as place, time and social settings. In addition to the narrative strategy developed by the puppeteer, theatrical creativity also determines how images and symbols can be seen in a puppet performance work, some of which elements include speech work, music work, puppet movements, and the classification of puppet characters in Surakarta style wayang kulit purwa and Malay Kelantan puppets. to examine this, the author uses descriptive qualitative methods, and cultural / literary comparisons, as well as conducting interviews with various sources to strengthen information related to the issues to be raised in this paper."

ABSTRAKSkripsi ini membahas tentang salah satu jenis sastra yaitu lakon. Lakon merupakan istilah lain dari drama. Lakon yang diteliti yaitu lakon klasik dengan objek pengkajian berupa naskah lakon wayang orang dengan judul Panakawan Kembar. Naskah ini ditulis oleh Undung Wiyono selaku tim Wayang Orang Sekar Budaya Nusantara dan dipentaskan pertama kali pada tahun 2005 oleh TVRI kemudian dipentaskan ulang pada tahun 2015 dengan judul yang diubah menjadi Panakawan Tanding. Penelitian naskah wayang orang Panakawan Kembar dilakukan dengan cara penelitian struktural menggunakan buku teori Analisis Drama dan Teater karya Soediro Satoto serta merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif guna mencapai tujuan yaitu mengetahui nilai moralitas yang terdapat dalam naskah lakon Panakawan Kembar.
ABSTRACTThis thesis discusses one type of literature that is the play. The play studied is a classical play with the object of play script research titled Panakawan Kembar. This script was written by Undung Wiyono as a team of puppet Sekar Budaya Nusantara and was first performed in 2005 by TVRI then re staged in 2015 with the title changed to Panakawan Tanding. Research of puppet script titled Panakawan Kembar is carried out by means of structural research using the theory book of Analisis Drama dan Teater masterpiece of Soediro Satoto and is a qualitative descriptive research in order to achieve the goal of knowing the morality contained in the Panakawan Kembar play script."
