"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur kualitas layanan perpustakaan berdasarkan harapan dan persepsi pengguna. Penelitian dilakukan pada Perpustakaan MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong, Kabupaten Tangerang, Propinsi Banten. Responden penelitian sebanyak 100 orang terdiri dari 32 siswa kelas 1, 26 siswa kelas 2, 31 siswa kelas 3 dan 11 guru. Metode pengukuran yang digunakan adalah LibQual+TM, yaitu metode pengukuran kualitas layanan perpustakaan berdasarkan harapan dan persepsi pengguna. Empat variabel yang diukur dalam penelitian ini, yaitu (1) akses inforrnasi (Access to information), (2) kemampuan dan sikap pustakawan dalam melayani (Affect of service), (3) Petunjuk dan sarana akses (Personal control), dan (4) Fasilitas dan suasana ruangan perpustakaan (Library as place). Responden diminta menilai dengan tiga kriteria, yaitu (1) harapan minimum (minimum), yaitu tingkat layanan yang dapat diterima, (2) harapan (desired), yaitu tingkat layanan yang sesungguhnya diinginkan, dan (3) persepsi (perceived), yaitu tingkat layanan yang dirasakan/diterima selama ini. Kualitas layanan adalah kesenjangan (gap) antara harapan minimum (minimum), harapan (desired), dan persepsi (perceived). Pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang terdiri dari 24 butir pernyataan. Responden diminta menilai dengan skala 1-9, nilai terendah 1 dan nilai tertinggi 9. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa layanan Perpustakaan MAN lnsan Cendekia Serpong secara umum belum memuaskan responden. Hal ini terlihat dari harapan responden terhadap layanan perpustakaan cukup tinggi, yakni 6.07 untuk minimum dan 7.96 untuk desired. Sedangkan persepsi responden adalah 5.80, yang berarti lebih kecil/lebih rendah dari harapan. Kesenjangan (gap) antara harapan dan persepsi responden adalah -0.27 yang menunjukkan bahwa Adequacy Gap adalah negatif dan berada di bawah wilayah Batas toleransi (Zone of tolerance). Layanan yang belum memuaskan responden sehingga memerlukan perbaikan adalah (a) layanan fotocopy yang jaraknya cukup jauh dari perpustakaan, (b) Bimbingan pustakawan dalam menilai/mengevaluasi informasi, (c) komputer Internet yang jumlahnya kurang memadai, (d) bimbingan pustakawan dalam mencari informasi di Internet, (e) suasana ruangan yang terlalu ramai untuk membaca, dan (f) koleksi buku dan majalah yang kurang memadai. Namun demikian, terdapat pula layanan yang sudah cukup memuaskan responden antara lain (a) tampilan/desain ruangan perpustakaan yang mengundang minat pengguna untuk masuk ke perpustakaan, (b) layanan TV Indovision membantu pengguna menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan tentang dunia global, (c) layanan surat kabar membantu pengguna untuk mengetahui masalah aktual di masyarakat, (d) suasana ruangan perpustakaan yang dapat merangsang imajinasi dan inspirasi pengguna. Temuan lain menunjukkan bahwa kelompok responden yang merasa paling puas dengan layanan perpustakaan adalah kelompok guru, dan sebaliknya, yang paling belum puas dengan layanan perpustakaan adalah siswa kelas 3. Data menunjukkan bahwa harapan siswa kelas 3 terhadap layanan perpustakaan adalah tertinggi dibandingkan dengan kelompok responden lain. Dengan demikian, sangat rasional bila siswa kelas 3 adalah kelompok responden yang paling belum puas dengan layanan perpustakaan.

Evaluation Of Library Service Quality Based On User's Expectation And Perception: A Case Study At MAN Insan Cendekia SerpongThe research goal is to measure library service quality based on user's expectation and perception. Research conducted at School Library of MAN (Madrasah Aliyah Negeri) Insan Cendekia Serpong, Tangerang, Banten. The research had 100 respondents that consist of 32 students class X, 26 students class XI, 31 students? class XII and II teachers. The LIBQUAL+TM is the measure method for this research and it's 4 dimensions used for research indicators, there were (1) access to information, (2) affect of service, (3) personal control, and (4) library as place. The respondents asked to judge on 3 scales for each statement: (1) minimum, minimum level of service that user would find acceptable, (2) desired, level of service that user personally wants, and (3) perceived, level of service that user believes the library currently provides. There were 24 statements about library service where respondents asked to rate on a scale of 1-9. In general, the finding showed that library could not meet user minimum expectation, with minimum 6.07, desired 7.96, and perceived 5.80. The gap score was -0.27 that indicated their perception of service was below their minimum level of service. There were several services that perceived by user unsatisfied and need to be repaired; (a) service of photocopy where the location is too far from library building, (b) librarian performance in helping user to evaluate information, (c) computers for internet are not appropriate enough to user, (d) librarian performance in helping user to search information via internet, (e) noisy of reading room, and (f) poorly books and periodicals collection. In the other hand, there were services that perceived by user had met their expectation, such as (a) library room design was comfortable and invited location, (b) television (in library) helped user in adding their knowledge about the world global, (c) newspaper helped user to know some actual matters in social lives, (d) library room design was imaginative and inspired place. The other finding showed that the teachers were the most satisfied respondents in this research and the student?s class XII was the least one. That was very reasonable, because their expectation of library service was higher than three group others.

"ABSTRAK
Skripsi ini membahas pemanfaatan koleksi digital oleh siswa di Perpustakaan
MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui apakah koleksi
perpustakaan digital telah dimanfaatkan dan hambatan apa yang dihadapi
pemustaka dalam memanfaatkan layanan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan
metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data didapatkan dengan
penyebaran kuesioner dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan
layanan koleksi digital di perpustakaan MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong sudah
dimanfaatkan siswa untuk memenuhi kebutuhan informasi. Namun, pemustaka
masih menemukan hambatan dalam layanan tersebut yaitu kurangnya kecepatan
koneksi, kurang lengkap koleksi dan jumlah komputer yang terbatas. Hasil
penelitian ini menyarankan pembenahan dari segi layanan dan kemampuan
pustakawan.

ABSTRACT
This under graduate thesis discusses the use of digital collections by students in
the Library of MAN Insan Cendekia Serpong. This study aims to determine
whether the digital library collection has been utilized and the obstacles faced
users in utilizing such services. This study uses a quantitative method with a case
study approach. The data obtained by questionnaires and interviews. Based on the
results of the study show a collection of digital services in libraries MAN Insan
Cendekia Serpong been used to meet the information needs of students. However,
users still find obstacles in such services is the lack of connection speed, less
complete collection and a limited number of computers. The results of this study
suggest improvements in terms of service and the ability of librarians"

"Tujuan dilakukannya studi ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh sosialisasi keluarga, sosialisasi sekolah, dan sosialisasi peergroup (teman sebaya) terhadap perilaku budi pekerti anak. Serta agen sosialisasi mana yang memegang peranan paling penting dalam mempengaruhi perilaku budi pekerti anak.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif yang besifat deskriptif, dengan metode studi kasus. Adapun cara pengumpulan datanya, terlebih dahulu dilakukan Focus Group Discussion, yang hasilnya kemudian dianalisa secara kualitatif, selain juga dijadikan kuesioner untuk data kuantitatif. Data kuesioner tersebut kemudian dianalisa dengan menggunakan korelasi dan regresi ganda.
Kerangka pemikiran teori yang dipergunakan adalah: dalam setiap tahap perkembangan manusia, sebagai makhluk sosial, yang selalu mendapat sosialisasi, baik primer maupun sekunder. Setiap orang, dalam hal ini populasi penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas III SMPN 123 Jakarta, akan mendapat pengaruh perilaku budi pekertinya dan orang lain. Namun, menurut Getting dan Donnermeyer, sumber sosialisasi sekunder hanya dapat bekerja melalui dampak dari sosialisasi primer.
Hasil studi ini mendapatkan kesimpulan bahwa variabel sosialisasi keluarga, sosialisasi sekolah, dan sosialisasi peergroup (teman sebaya) mempunyai pengaruh terhadap perilaku budi pekerti anak sebesar 0,388, atau 15 %. Artinya, terdapat 85 % perilaku budi pekerti dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain. Variabel lain yang dimaksud berdasarkan hasil focus group discussion adalah media massa, dalam hal ini televisi.
Dan hasil analisa penelitian, penulis menyarankan 1) kepada para orang tua hendaklah mendidik putra-putrinya dengan pola asuh authoritative, yaitu pola asuh yang bersifat mencintai, mengontrol, komunikatif dan mempunyai tuntutan perilaku yang matang terhadap anak-anaknya.2) kepada guru, hendaklah dapat menjadi seorang guru, yang dapat digugu (dipatuhi) dan ditiru, sehingga siwa dapat melakukan imitasi terhadap perilaku guru di sekolahnya. 3) kepada badan sensor, hendaklah melakukan tugas sensor dengan baik, baik untuk produksi nasional, maupun asing. 4) kepada masyarakat luas, hendaklah selalu berperilaku budi pekerti yang baik, sehingga semua orang akan terbiasa melihat pola perilaku yang baik."
