"[ABSTRAK
Penelitian mengenai potensi makroalga alami Sargassum polycystum dan makroalga budidaya Eucheuma cottonii dalam menyerap dan menyimpan karbon serta nutrien di Pulau Panjang, Teluk Banten telah dilakukan pada bulan Oktober hingga November 2014. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui laju penyerapan karbon, kandungan nutrien dan produktivitas primer dari makroalga S. polycystum dan E. cottonii. Lokasi penelitian terletak di bagian hamparan gosong karang dan berlumpur dengan kedalaman 0,5-5 m. Pengamatan pertumbuhan dan laju penyerapan karbon menggunakan metode penandaan thallus pada 30 sampel makroalga setiap hari selama 7 hari. Sampel makroalga selanjutnya dianalisis kandungan nutriennya. Hasil penelitian didapatkan estimasi laju penyerapan karbon S. polycystum dan E. cottonii adalah 0,0081 gC/hari dan 0,0083 gC/hari. Kandungan karbon, nitrogen dan fosfat di S. polycystum adalah sebanyak 6,84%, 1,72% and 0,009% sedangkan kadar karbon, nitrogen dan fosfat di E. cottonii adalah 5,99%, 0,67% dan 0,006%. Berdasarkan analisis statistik dengan uji t, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada laju pertumbuhan, kandungan nitrogen dan fosfat S. polycystum dengan E. cottonii. Sedangkan untuk kandungan karbon tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara S. polycystum dengan E. cottonii. Selanjutnya, uji korelasi didapatkan bahwa adanya korelasi antara laju pertumbuhan S. polycystum dan E. cottonii dengan kandungan nitrogen masing- masing sedangkan antara laju pertumbuhan dengan kandungan karbon dan fosfat tidak terdapat korelasi. Produktivitas primer diukur dengan metode botol terang dan botol gelap yang dimodifikasi. Pengukuran produktivitas primer dilakukan pada kedalaman 0,5 m untuk S. polycystum dan 0,1 m untuk E. cottonii. Kandungan oksigen terlarut diukur dengan DO meter. Hasil penelitian didapatkan rata-rata produktivitas primer S. polycystum sebesar 512,99 ± 169,26 mgC/m3/hari dan E. cottonii sebesar 387,88 ± 219,93 mgC/m3/hari.

The research about the potency of wild macroalgae Sargassum polycystum dan cultivation macroalgae Eucheuma cottonii to absorb and store carbon also nutrient in Panjang Island, Banten Bay was held on October until November 2014. The research was aimed to estimate carbon sequestration, nutrient content and primary productivity from macroalgae S. polycystum and E. cottonii. Location of the research in the stretch of reef and muddy with a depth of 0,5-5 m. The observation of growth rate and carbon sequestration used thallus marking method in 30 macroalgae shoots everyday for 7 days. Macroalgae was analyzed its nutrient content. The results showed that estimation carbon sequestration by S. polycystum and E. cottonii were 0,0081 gC/day dan 0,0083 gC/day. cottonii adalah 5,99%, 0,67% dan 0,006%. Berdasarkan analisis statistik dengan
uji t, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada laju pertumbuhan, kandungan
nitrogen dan fosfat S. polycystum dengan E. cottonii. Sedangkan untuk kandungan
karbon tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara S. polycystum dengan E.
cottonii. Selanjutnya, uji korelasi didapatkan bahwa adanya korelasi antara laju
pertumbuhan S. polycystum dan E. cottonii dengan kandungan nitrogen masingmasing
sedangkan antara laju pertumbuhan dengan kandungan karbon dan fosfat
tidak terdapat korelasi. Produktivitas primer diukur dengan metode botol terang
dan botol gelap yang dimodifikasi. Pengukuran produktivitas primer dilakukan
pada kedalaman 0,5 m untuk S. polycystum dan 0,1 m untuk E. cottonii.

While for the carbon content, there was no significant difference between S.
polycystum with E. cottonii. Furthermore, correlation test showed that there was a
correlation between the growth rate of S. polycystum and E. cottonii with
nitrogent content respectively while between the growth rate with carbon and
phosphor content, there was no correlation. Primary productivity were measured
by the light and dark bottle method with modification. Measurement of primary
productivity was held at a depth of 0,5 m from the surface for S. polycystum and
0,1 m from the surface for E. cottonii. Dissolved oxygen was measured by DO
meter. The result showed that mean of primary productivity for S. polycystum was
10,259 ± 3,385 mgC/g/day and E. cottonii was 7,757 ± 4,398 mgC/g/day]"

Padang lamun merupakan ekosistem yang penting karena perannya sebagai tempat berlangsungnya berbagai siklus nutrien, tempat mencari makan, dan berkembang biak berbagai macam biota laut. Peningkatan aktivitas manusia berupa aktivitas perikanan, reklamasi pantai, penambangan pasir, serta perkembangan industri dapat menyebabkan kondisi padang lamun terganggu. Maka dari itu, pemantauan jangka panjang terhadap kondisi lamun merupakan hal yang penting untuk dilakukan sebagai langkah memahami hubungan antara kondisi padang lamun dengan peningkatan aktivitas manusia. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis perubahan sebaran lamun di Teluk Banten serta hubungannya dengan aktivitas manusia menggunakan data Sentinel dan Landsat multi temporal dari tahun 2008 hingga 2018. Data Sentinel dan Landsat dikoreksi menggunakan metode depth invarianth index kemudian diklasifikasikanan menggunakan metode Maximum Likelihood dan uji akurasikan dengan data di lapangan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan adanya pengurangan luasan lamun di Teluk Banten dari tahun 2008 sampai 2018 sebesar 74,28 ha akibat meningkatnya aktivitas manusia terutama pada sektor perikanan, penambangan pasir, reklamasi pantai, dan industri.

ABSTRACT
Seagrass meadows are important ecosystem due to their structural and functions role as a place for various nutrient cycles, feeding area, and breeding for a variety of marine species. Increased human activity in the form of increased fishery activities, sand mining, reclamation, and industry is reported causing disturbed seagrass condition. Therefore, spasio-temporal monitoring of the seagrass condition is important to understand the relationship between the seagrass condition and the stresses from human activity. This research was conducted to analyze the change of seagrass distribution in Banten Bay and its relation with human activity using multi temporal Landsat data from 2008 to 2018. Landsat data is processed using Depth Invariant Index method and classified using Maximum Likelihood with field data. The results of this study indicate a reduction of 74,28 ha seagrass area in the Banten Bay from 2008 to 2018 due to increased human activity that consist of increased fishery, sand mining, coastal reclamation, and industry."

"Pulau Tidung merupakan salah satu destinasi pariwisata di Kepulauan Seribu dengan keindahan alam dan biota laut di dalamnya. Pada tahun 2020, Pulau Tidung mengalami penurunan wisatawan akibat pandemi COVID-19 yang melanda. Seiring berjalannya waktu, jumlah wisatawan pada tahun 2023 mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan tahun sebelumnya  berdasarkan warga lokal dan tour guide. Peningkatan jumlah wisatawan ini dikhawatirkan mampu mengakibatkan tekanan terhadap ekosistem lamun. Lamun merupakan tumbuhan berbunga (Angiospermae) yang hidup di air dan dapat berkembang pada perairan estuari dan dangkal. Penyerapan karbon merupakan salah satu peran dan fungsi lamun bagi eksosistem.  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa struktur komunitas lamun pada tahun 2022 dan 2023, mengetahui estimasi kandungan karbon pada lamun serta mengorelasi karbon pada lamun dan karbon pada sedimen. Identifikasi lamun menggunakan metode transek kuadran dan dilakukan pada 4 stasiun pengamatan dan metode pengabuan atau Loss of Ignition untuk menghitung kandungan karbon pada lamun dan sedimen. Ditemukan lima spesies lamun di Pulau Tidung, antara lain Thalassia hemprichii, Enhalus acoroides, Cymodocea rotundata, Syringodium isoetifolium, dan Halophila ovalis. Untuk menunjukkan perbandingan lamun antar tahun digunakan salah satu indeks struktur komunitas, yaitu nilai kerapatan. Nilai kerapatan lamun tahun 2022 sebesar 87,17 dan tahun 2023 sebesar 62,42. Selanjutnya didapatkan nilai estimasi kandungan karbon pada lamun, yaitu tahun 2022 memiliki rata-rata estimasi kandungan karbon ABG sebesar 176,74 gC/m2 dan BLG sebesar 258,36 gC/m2 dan tahun 2023 memiliki estimasi kandungan karbon ABG sebesar 127,43 gC/m2 dan BLG sebesar 187,16 gC/m2. Dilakukan Uji-T Independen untuk melihat perbedaan yang signifikan antar tahun. Hasil Uji-T pada kerapatan lamun 2022 dan 2023 memiliki nilai sig. 0,02 < 0,05 yang menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan sedangkan pada kandungan karbon lamun 2022 dan 2023 memiliki nilai sig, 0,09 > 0,05 yang menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan. Sebagian besar karbon pada lamun disimpan pada bagian substrat bawah. Maka dari itu dilakukan perhitungan pada kandungan karbon sedimen.Pada tahun 2022 persentase kandungan karbon organik di setiap stasiun memiliki kisaran 2,63%-3,93%. Pada tahun 2023 kisaran persentase kandungan karbon organik di setiap stasiun adalah 1,95%-2,42%. Dilakukan uji korelasi Spearman pada kandungan karbon substrat bawah lamun dan sedimen dan didapatkan hasil korelasi positif dengan nilai 0,98 dimana semakin tinggi kandungan karbon pada substrat bagian bawah lamun, maka semakin tinggi kandungan karbon pada sedimen di bawahnya.

Tidung Island is one of the tourist destinations in the Thousand Islands with its natural beauty and marine life. In 2020, Tidung Island experienced a decrease in tourists due to the COVID-19 pandemic that hit. Over time, the number of tourists in 2023 has increased compared to the previous year based on residents and tour guides. The increase in the number of tourists is feared to cause pressure on the seagrass ecosystem. Seagrasses are flowering plants (Angiosperms) that live in water and can develop in estuaries and shallow waters. Carbon sequestration is one of the roles and functions of seagrass for the ecosystem. This study aims to analyze the structure of seagrass communities in 2022 and 2023, determine the estimated carbon content in seagrasses, and correlate carbon in seagrasses and sediments. Seagrass identification used the quadrant transect method and was carried out at four observation stations and the loss of ignition method to calculate carbon content in seagrass and sediment. Five seagrass species were found in Tidung Island, including Thalassia hemprichii, Enhalus acoroides, Cymodocea rotundata, Syringodium isoetifolium, and Halophila ovalis. One of the community structure indices, namely density value, was used to show the seagrass comparison between years. The seagrass density value in 2022 amounted to 87.17 and in 2023 amounted to 62.42. Furthermore, the estimated value of carbon content in seagrass was obtained, namely, 2022 had an average estimated carbon content of ABG of 176.74 gC/m2 and BLG of 258.36 gC/m2 and 2023 had an estimated carbon content of ABG of 127.43 gC/m2 and BLG of 187.16 gC/m2. Independent T-Tests were conducted to see significant differences between years. The results of the T-test on seagrass density in 2022 and 2023 had a sig. 0.02 < 0.05 indicates a significant difference, while in seagrass carbon content 2022 and 2023 have a sig value, 0.09 > 0.05 indicates no significant difference. Most of the carbon in seagrass is stored in the lower substrate. In 2022, the percentage of organic carbon content at each station ranged from 2.63% to 3.93%. In 2023 the percentage range of organic carbon content at each station was 1.95% - 2.42%. Spearman correlation test was conducted on the carbon content of the seagrass bottom substrate and sediment and obtained positive correlation results with a value of 0.98, where the higher the carbon content in the seagrass bottom substrate, the higher the carbon content in the sediment below."

Ketersediaan jasa ekosistem lamun sangat bergantung pada kondisi biofisik dan dinamika ekosistem terutama dari faktor antropogenik. Ekosistem lamun saat ini sedang mengalami krisis karena semakin terpengaruh oleh perubahan yang diakibatkan oleh aktivitas manusia di zona pesisir. Ini menghambat kelangsungan ekosistem lamun. Riset ini mengevaluasi indeks kesehatan ekosistem lamun dan menentukan potensi keberlanjutan pemanfaatan jasa ekosistem lamun di pesisir Pulau Panjang, Serang, Banten dengan menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif serta metode campuran. Studi ini menemukan bahwa Pulau Panjang memiliki keragaman spesies lamun yang cukup tinggi dengan ditemukan 7 spesies lamun termasuk Enhalus acoroides yang cukup mendominasi pesisir pulau. Indeks kesehatan lamun juga cukup tinggi yang berkisar di antara 60 – 70%. Hasil riset juga membuktikan bahwa perilaku masyarakat yang konsumtif memicu pemanfataan jasa ekosistem yang tinggi. Pemanfaatan jasa ekosistem lamun yang tinggi dapat mengecilkan potensi pemanfaatan secara berkelanjutan. Ini dikarenakan tingkat pendidikan masyarakat yang tergolong rendah. Oleh karena itu, sosiasliasi dan pengelolaan atas ekosistem lamun perlu segera diimplementasikan.

 


The existence of seagrass ecosystem services is dependent on biophysical conditions and the dynamics of the ecosystem, especially from anthropogenic factors. Seagrass ecosystems are currently in crisis because they are increasingly affected by changes caused by human activities in the coastal zone. This inhibits the sustainability of the seagrass ecosystem. This research evaluates the health index of seagrass ecosystems and determines the potential for sustainable utilization of seagrass ecosystem services on the coast of Pulau Panjang, Serang, Banten using quantitative approaches and mixed methods. The study found that Panjang Island have a high diversity of seagrass species with 7 seagrass species found, including Enhalus acoroides which dominated the coast. Habitat structure index represents seagrass health that was obtained is quite high which ranges between 60 - 70%. Another result of this research also proves that high consumptive behavior triggers the high utilization of ecosystem services. The utilization of seagrass ecosystems can reduce the potential for sustainable utilization of seagrass ecosystems. This is due to the communities’ low education. Therefore, management of seagrass ecosystems needs to be implemented immediately so that sustainable utilization of seagrass ecosystem services can be actualized.

"Ekosistem lamun menyediakan produk dan jasa lingkungan bagi manusia. Produk dan jasa lingkungan dari ekosistem ini memiliki nilai ekonomi yang berkontribusi pada kesejahteraan ekonomi masyarakat pesisir. Oleh karena itu ingin mengetahui nilai ekonomi produk dan jasa ekosistem lamun sebagai pertimbangan untuk mendorong kegiatan lanjutan pasca program pengelolaan ekosistem lamun di Desa Teluk Bakau dan Malang Rapat. Hasil Kajian nilai ekonomi produk dan jasa ekosistem lamun di desa Teluk bakau dan Malang Rapat untuk tahun 2010 didapatkan sebesar Rp 324.615.714.497.
Capaian program Trismades menunjukkan bahwa program tersebut berhasil untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan ekosistem lamun dan meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat pada pengelolaan ekosistem lamun, namun kurang berhasil meningkatkan kegiatan ekonomi lokal yang ramah lingkungan. Rencana kegiatan untuk keberlanjutan program pengelolaan pasca program Trismades adalah mempertahankan capaian program, diantaranya: pengelolaan dan perawatan DPPL, pengelolaan Pondok Informasi, lanjutan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat serta lanjutan pelatihan mata pencaharian alternatif.;Seagrass ecosystems to provide environmental products and services for humans.

Environmental products and services from these ecosystems have economic value that contribute to the economic well-being of coastal communities. Therefore theresearch aim to study the economic value of seagrass ecosystem of products and services as a consideration to encourage post-program follow-up activities ecosystem management of seagrasses in the Teluk Bakau and Malang Rapat Village. Results Assessment of economic value of ecosystem products and services seagrasses and mangroves in the Gulf of Malang village meeting for the year 2010 amounting to IDR 324.615.714.497 obtained.
Trismades program achievements. indicates that the program successfully to improve the management of seagrass ecosystems and raise public awareness on the management of seagrass ecosystems, but less successful in increasing local economic activity is environmentally friendly. Action plans for the sustainability of post-program Trismades management program is to maintain the achievements of the program, including: management and maintenance of seagrass sanctuary and Community Information and Training Center, advanced training to increase public awareness as well as the advanced training of alternative income generation.

"Pulau Tidung di Kepulauan Seribu memiliki ekosistem beragam salah satunya padang lamun. Keberagaman ini membuat Pulau Tidung banyak dimanfaatkan menjadi tempat penelitian dan destinasi wisata unggulan. Hal tersebut dapat mempengaruhi struktur komunitas biota laut seperti gastropoda di padang lamun. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis perubahan struktur komunitas gastropoda, membandingkannya dengan keadaan Maret 2022, serta menganalisis korelasi jenis partikel dan jumlah karbon sedimen terhadap kepadatan gastropoda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuadran berukuran 1 x 1 m dengan bantuan transek. Struktur komunitas mengalami peningkatan dilihat dari kepadatan dan keanekaragamannya. Kepadatan tahun 2022 sebesar 2,5 ind/m2 dan 4,29 ind/m2 pada tahun 2023. Keanekaragaman pada tahun 2022 sebesar 1,92 dan meningkat menjadi 2,31 pada tahun 2023. Sementara itu, indeks lain seperti kemerataan, dominansi, dan distribusi relatif sama. Kemerataan di tahun 2022 sebesar 0,58 dan 0,61 pada 2023. Dominansi pada tahun 2022 sebesar 0,21 dan sebesar 0,14 pada tahun 2023. Distribusi untuk setiap individu gastropoda cenderung sama yaitu berkelompok dan seragam. Berdasarkan nilai similaritas, kesamaan komposisi gastropoda pada tahun 2022 dan 2023 sebesar 0,64. Gastropoda dipengaruhi pula oleh jenis partikel dimana berkorelasi positif dengan pasir sebesar 0,46 pada tahun 2022 dan 0,44 pada tahun 2023. Korelasi gastropoda dengan butiran berkorelasi secara negatif sebesar -0,74 pada tahun 2022 dan -0,39 pada tahun 2023. Korelasi dengan lumpur juga merupakan korelasi negative sebesar -0,42 pada tahun 2022 dan -0,43 di tahun 2023. Selain itu, persentase karbon juga mempengaruhi keberadaan gastropoda secara positif sebesar 0,47 pada tahun 2022 dan 0,81 tahun 2023.

Tidung Island in the Thousand Islands has a variety of ecosystems, one of which is seagrass beds. This diversity has made Tidung Island widely used as a research site and a leading tourist destination. It can affect the community structure of marine biota, such as gastropods in seagrass beds. The research aims to analyze changes in the gastropod community structure, compare it to the situation in March 2022, and analyze the correlation of the type of particles and the amount of carbon sediment to the density of gastropods. This study used the quadrant method measuring 1 x 1 m with the help of transects. The community structure has increased in terms of density and diversity. The density in 2022 is 2,5 ind/m2 and 4,29 ind/m2 in 2023. The diversity indices in 2022 are 1,92 and increased to 2,31 in 2023. Other indices, such as evenness, dominance, and distribution, are relatively the same. Evenness in 2022 is 0,58 and 0,61 in 2023. The dominance indices in 2022 are 0,21 and 0,14 in 2023. The distribution indices for each gastropod tend to be the same, as a group and uniform. Based on the similarity value, the similarity of gastropod composition in 2022 and 2023 is 0,64. Gastropods are also affected by the type of particles which has a positive correlation with sand of 0,46 in 2022 and 0,44 in 2023. The correlation of gastropods with grains has a negative correlation of -0,74 in 2022 and -0,39 in 2023. The correlation with mud is also a has a negative correlation of -0,42 in 2022 and -0,43 in 2023. In addition, the percentage of carbon also positively influences the presence of gastropods by 0,47 in 2022 and 0.81 in 2023."

"ABSTRAK
Ancaman degradasi yang terus tetjadi pada ekosistem lmnun di pesisir Kabupaten Bintan menjadi dasar dilakukannya pengelolaan ekosistem lamun di dua dasa di pesisir Timor Bintan yaitu Desa Maiang Rapat dan Desa Teluk Bakau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pengelolaan ekosistem lamun berdasarkan pola konektivitas sistem sosial ekologi yang diukur dengan indikator ekologi, sosial ekonomi, kelembagaan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei selama bulan Agustus-September 2010 dengan jumlah responden 120 nelayan. lndikator ekologi memperlihatkan fluktuasi persentase tutupan lamun Bintan dari bulan Maret-Juni 2010 dan didominasi oleh spesies Enhalus acoroldes. Kondisi sosial ekonomi masyarakat umumnya adalah nelayan dengan alat tangkap jaring yang masih membutuhkan mata pencaharian altematif untuk menambah pendapatan. Karakteristik kelembagaan nelayan terlihat darl adanya kelompok nelayan di kedua desa namun sebegian besar nelayan tidak aktif di dalam kelompok tersebut.

ABSTRACT
The threat of degradation that continues to occur in sea grass ecosystems in the coastal of Bintan Regency became the basis sea grass ecosystem management in two villages on the eastern coast of Malang Rapat Vlllage and Teluk Bukau Village. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of seagrass ecosystem management based on connectivity patterns of socio-eoological sysrem as measured by indicators of ecological, socio-economic, end institutional. Research conducted by survey during August-September 2010 with the number of respondents 120 fishermen. Ecological indicator shows the percentage fluctuations in sea grass cover from March-1une 2010 and is dominated by species Enhalus acoroides. Socio-economic condition of community generally is fishing with nets fishing gear that still need alternative livelihoods to increase income. Institutional characteristics of fishermen can be seen from the group of fishermen in both villages but most fishermen are not active in the group. "

"ABSTRAK
Pantai merupakan daerah peralihan antara daratan dan lautan. Garis pantai dianggap satu bentuk yang mengalami proses paling dinamis, dan abrasi serta akresi adalah proses yang berlangsung terus menerus terhadap garis pantai. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana dinamika abrasi dan akresi yang terjadi di pantai Teluk Banten dan hubungannya dengan faktor-faktor fisik daratan dan lautannya. Pengukuran abrasi dan akresi sangat penting sebagai pengetahuan terkini yang dapat mendukung tahapan awal dalam mitigasi bencana pesisir. Abrasi dan akresi didapatkan dengan overlay garis pantai tahun 1998 dengan 2014 hasil ekstrak dari peta RBI,citra Landsat OLI 8 dan citra resolusi tinggi Quickbird. Luas, laju, jarak perubahan, dan panjang garis pantai yang mengalami keduanya dianalisis berdasarkan segmen (segmen 1, 2, 3, dan 4). Variabel yang digunakan antara lain variabel fisik daratan yaitu topografi, geologi, penggunaan lahan, dan garis pantai, sedangkan variabel fisik lautan diantaranya gelombang, arus, pasang surut dan batimetri. Faktor daratan menjadi fokus analisis dalam penelitian ini tetapi tidak pula mengenyampingkan faktor-faktor dari lautan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan abrasi pantai Teluk Banten terjadi di desa Pamengkang sampai Terate dan desa Domas sampai Linduk dengan luas abrasi 259.36 Ha, laju 4.5 ? 41.8 m/thn, dan jarak abrasi 23 ? 628 m. Sedangkan akresi terjadi di desa Banten yaitu bagian Tengah Teluk dengan luas 26.24 Ha, laju 0.3 ? 11.4 m/th, dan jarak akresi 5-172 m. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa keseimbangan karakteristik fisik pantai (darat maupun laut) memberi pengaruh yang besar terhadap berlangsungnya proses abrasi dan akresi di pantai Teluk Banten.

ABSTRACT
The beach is a transition area between land and sea. The coastline is considered one form of that experienced the most dynamic processes, abrasion and accretion is a process that continuesly to the coastline. This study wanted to find out how erosion and accretion that occurred in the Gulf coast of Banten and its relationship to physical factors land and oceans. In this study, abrasion and accretion seen through changes in the coastline in 1998 with 2014 extracted from Rupa Bumi Indonesia map, Landsat OLI 8 and high resolution Quickbird imagery. Abrasion and accretion is calculated based on the area, rate, distance changes, and long coastline experienced both and segmented analysis (segment 1, 2, 3 and 4). Variables used among other physical variables that land topography, geology, land use and coastline, while the physical variables such ocean waves, currents, and tides. Factors of land became the focus of analysis in this study, but does not also rule out the factors of the ocean. Physical factors mainland have a considerable influence on the amount of abrasion and accretion process. The results showed the gulf coast of Banten has been experiencing abrasion and accretion, where abrasion occurs in Pamengkang until Terate and Domas until Linduk but dominated in Domas until Linduk with 259.36 ha, the rate of 4.5 - 41.8 m / yr, and abrasion distance 23-628 m, While the accretion occurs in Banten, namely Central part of the Gulf with an area of 26.24 ha, the rate of 0.3 - 11.4 m / year, and the distance accretion 5-172 m. In the first segment is any part of the Western Gulf coastal reclamation. From result analysis, it was found that the balance of characteristic of coast have the great effect to process abrasion and accretion going on nicely in the coastal of Banten Gulf.
