"Penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai ekokritisisme yang ada di dalam anime Gake no Ue no Ponyo karya Hayao Miyazaki dengan menggunakan teori ekokritisisme dari Greg Garrard. Melalui teori tersebut, dapat dilihat bahwa Hayao Miyazaki menggunakan isu-isu lingkungan di dalam karya sastranya sebagai bentuk kritik untuk para manusia yang seringkali melakukan aktifitas yang merugikan mereka yang bukan manusia (Hewan, Alam, dan Roh). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data informasi dari jurnal artikel dan buku yang membahas ekokritisisme dan film-film karya Hayao Miyazaki lainnya. Anime Gake no Ue no Ponyo dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan cara memaparkan unsur-unsur intrinsik dan adegan-adegan beserta beberapa cuplikan gambar yang menggambarkan isu-isu lingkungan. Dalam anime ini ditemukan bentuk ekokritisisme yang disampaikan oleh Hayao Miyazaki melalui gambaran habitat Ponyo yang memiliki masalah lingkungan berupa kegiatan overfishing, pencemaran air laut, dan perubahan iklim di Jepang, bencana berupa tsunami dan badai, serta penyelesaiannya oleh tokoh Gran Mamare yang merupakan sesosok Dewi Pengasih.

This study discusses about ecocriticism in Hayao Miyazaki's Gake no Ue no Ponyo anime using the ecocriticism theory of Greg Garrard. From this theory, it can be seen that Hayao Miyazaki uses environmental issues in his literary works as a form of criticism for humans who often do activities which are harmful to non-humans (Animals, Nature, and Spirits). Furthermore, this study used a qualitative method by collecting information data from journal articles and books regards to ecocriticism; besides, other films by Hayao Miyazaki. Gake no Ue no Ponyo anime was analyzed using a descriptive method by describing the intrinsic elements and scenes along with several snippets of images which depict environmental issues. Moreover, in this anime, it is found a form of ecocriticism which is delivered by Hayao Miyazaki through the description of Ponyo's habitat which has environmental problems; such as, overfishing activities, marine pollution, climate change in Japan, and disasters (tsunami and storm). In addition, it can be seen in the anime that these problems are overcome by the character of Gran Mamare who is a figure of the Goddess of Mercy."

Piekerans van een Straatslijper merupakan kumpulan dari delapan puluh lima sketsa sehingga di dalam skripsi ini hanya dibahas dua belas sketsa yang dianggap mewakili selmauh isi buku itu. Dalam membahas kedua belas sketsa itu digunakan teori analisis struktural yang lebih ditekankan pada anasir gaya. Selain itu digunakan pula metode ekstrinsik. Pertentangan merupakan tema umum yang muncul sedangkan gaya Tjalie Robinson adalah penggunaan bahasa Pecuk yang kental. Bahasa Pecuk merupakan pertentangan yang ada di dalam masyarakat Indo 'dan dengan demikian antara tema dan gaya Tjalie Robinson terdapat suatu hubungan."

"Krisis lingkungan terjadi karena ulah manusia. Manusia sering kurang memahami alam dan memiliki kesulitan untuk menciptakan sebuah relasi yang baik dengan lingkungan hidup. Skripsi ini membahas relasi antara manusia dan lingkungan hidup dalam novel Partikel karya Dewi Lestari. Penulis menganalisis unsur-unsur struktur naratif pada novel dengan pendekatan ekokritis. Hasil kesimpulan skripsi ini adalah novel Partikel mengandung sebuah gagasan utama bahwa pada hakikatnya manusia dan alam adalah satu.

Our environmental crisis is caused by human culture. People often lack understanding of nature and have difficulty building a good relationship with their environment. Many narratives seek to change culture by improving such understanding, and this thesis takes the Indonesian contemporary novel Supernova: Partikel, written by Dewi “Dee” Lestari as possible example of such work. In this thesis, the goal of the research is to explain ecocriticism and understand the ecocritical content of this novel. And indeed, evaluating Partikel from an ecocritical perspective we conclude that it helps us to understand nature and explains us how human and nature are one."

"Penelitian mengenai pandangan sosial Firman Muntaco dalam sketsa-sketsanya dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Cerita yang mengusung tema cinta biasanya hanya menyasar kalangan pembaca tertentu, namun novel ini cenderung menyenangkan untuk dinikmati beragam kalangan serta usia. Beberapa keunggulan novel ini adalah, alur yang tidak membosankan, karakter yang menarik, serta latar sosial yang begitu kental. Poin-poin tersebut telah menstimulus keinginan penulis untuk mengangkat serta menganalisis novel ini dengan pendekatan sosiologi sastra. Tujuan penelitian adalah menemukan serta mengaitkan hubungan apa yang menyatukan Ari dan Meva, meskipun latar belakang serta segala aspek tentang hidup mereka begitu kontradiktif.
