"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari variabel utilitarian
motivation, social motivation, hedonic motivation, perceived value, satisfaction dan
mobile engagement intention. Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 171 orang para
pengguna smartphone Samsung dengan usia minimal 17 tahun dan tinggal di wilayah
Jabodetabek. Model penelitian dengan dua belas hipotesis diolah dengan software
LISREL 8.5 menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Hasil
pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa hanya utilitarian motivation yang tidak
memiliki pengaruh signifikan namun tetap positif terhadap perceived value dan
mobile engagement intention. Engagement motivations memiliki pengaruh signifikan
positif terhadap perceived value, satisfaction dan mobile engagement intention.

This study aims to determine the effect of variable utilitarian motivation, social
motivation, hedonic motivation, perceived value, satisfaction and intention of mobile
engagement. This survey respondents totaled 171 Samsung device users with a
minimum age of 17 years and living in the Greater Jakarta area. A research model
with hypotheses twelve processed by LISREL 8.5 software using Structural Equation
Modeling (SEM). The results of data processing show that only utilitarian motivation
has no significant influence but remain positive on perceived value and intention of
mobile engagement. Engagement motivations have a significant positive effect on
perceived value, satisfaction and intention of mobile engagement."

"Tujuan dari makalah ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh brand engagement dan brand love terhadap overall brand equity dan repurchase intention konsumen milenial Indonesia pada pasar smartphone/ponsel pintar. Dalam penelitian ini, brand engagement konsumen diuji per dimensi (cognition, affection, dan activation), untuk membuktikan intensitas dimensi yang mempengaruhi hubungan konsumen-merek. Penelitian ini akan menggunakan studi kasus lima merek smartphone teratas di Indonesia, antara lain: Apple, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, dan Xiaomi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui survei daring terhadap 468 milenial. Data kemudian dilakukan uji reliabilitas dan validitas, sebelum diuji dengan analisis confirmatory factor analysis pada sem untuk uji kekuatan hubungan. Makalah ini menunjukkan bahwa brand engagement secara keseluruhan terbukti mempengaruhi brand love secara positif. Brand love, affection dan activation dari brand engagement juga terbukti mempengaruhi overall brand equity dan repurchase intention secara positif. Namun, cognition tidak terbukti secara langsung mempengaruhi overall brand equity dan repurchase intention secara positif. Studi lebih lanjut mungkin bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kategori lain dari produk dan layanan. Studi ini juga hanya berfokus pada satu segmen konsumen (segmen milenial), studi lebih lanjut mungkin mengevaluasi segmen konsumen yang berbeda atau membandingkannya dengan segmen lain. Studi ini menawarkan saran bagi manajer untuk meningkatkan overall brand equity mereka melalui peningkatan brand engagement dan brand love pada produk, mendorong hasil positif berupa repurchase intention. .The purpose of this paper is to explore the effects of brand engagement and brand love to overall brand equity and repurchase intention of Indonesian millennial consumers in the smartphone market. Consumer brand engagement is tested per dimension (cognition, affection, and activation), to prove the intensity of dimensions affecting the consumer-brand relationship. This paper will use the case study of five top smartphone brands in Indonesia, including: Apple, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, and Xiaomi. The data collection ­was done via an online survey of 468 millennials. The data then went to a reliability and validity test, before tested with structural equation modelling confirmatory factor analysis for the strength of relationships test. The paper suggests that overall brand engagement is proven to influence brand love positively. Brand love, affection and activation of brand engagement are also proven to influence brand equity and repurchase intention positively. However, cognition isn’t proved to directly influence overall brand equity and repurchase intention positively. Further study might aim at investigating other categories of products and services. Other outcomes might be evaluated, as well as other moderating variables. This study also only focuses on one consumer segment (millennials), further study might evaluate different consumer segments or compare it with other segments. This study offers suggestions for managers to enhance their overall brand equity through raising the brand engagement and brand love of the products, encouraging positive outcomes as repurchase intention. This paper contributes to the ever-growing consumer-brand relationships literature by exploring the role of brand engagement and brand love in the millennials segment."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh employee engagement dan job satisfaction terhadap turnover intention pada PT XYZ Televisi yang merupakan salah satu perusahaan stasiun televisi di Indonesia. Alat ukur yang digunakan untuk mengukur variabel employee engagement adalah UWES (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale), variabel job satisfaction diukur dengan JSS (Job Satisfaction Survey) yang dikembangkan oleh spector (1994), dan variabel turnover intention diukur dengan menggunakan Turnover Intention Scale yang dikembangkan oleh Mobley (1978), Colarelli (1984), dan Cammann (1979). Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan program SPSS 21 dengan metode statistik multiple linier regression. Hasil yang didapatkan dalam penelitian menunjukkan bahwa employee engagement dan job satisfaction secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap turnover intention dengan R2 sebesar 0.414, sedangkan apabila ditelaah lebih lanjut employee engagement secara negatif tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention, dan job satisfaction secara negatif berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention.

This research was conducted to determine the effect of employee engagement and job satisfaction on turnover intention at PT XYZ television which is one of the television stations in Indonesia. Instruments used to measure variable employee engagement was UWES (Utrecht Work Engagement Scale), Job satisfaction was measured using JSS (Job Satisfaction Survey) developed by spector (1994), and turnover intention was measured using Turnover Intention Scale developed by Mobley (1978), Colarelli (1984), and Cammann (1979). Multiple linear regression method was use to analysed data. Results obtained from the research shows that employee engagement and job satisfaction has a significant effect on turnover intention with R2 = .414, furthermore employee engagement has no significant effect to turnover intention, while job satisfaction has negatively significant effect to turnover intention."

Responden penelitian ini berjumlah 135 karyawan di kantor pusat PT. XYZ.
Metode penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan uji regresi linier
sederhana dan uji regresi linier berganda. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada
penelitian ini adalah Pay Satisfaction Questionnaire (PSQ) yang dikembangkan
oleh Heneman dan Schwab (1985), Survey of Perceived Organizational Support
(SPOS) yang dikembangkan oleh Eisenberger, Huntington, Hutchison dan Sowa
(1986) dan disederhanakan oleh Holt, Bartczak, Clark da Trent (2007), dan
Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) yang dikembangkan oleh Schaufeli dan
Bakker (2003) dan disederhanakan oleh Seppala, Mauno, Fedlt, Hakanen,
Kinnunen, Tolvanen, dan Schaufeli (2008). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa
pay satisfaction dan perceived organizational support berpengaruh positif dan
signifikan terhadap employee engagement.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari job characteristic dan perceived organizational support terhadap employee engagement. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode survei kuesioner. Penelitian ini dilakukan terhadap karyawan kantor pusat Perum Perhutani yang berjumlah 186 orang. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda dan aplikasi SPSS 22. Alat ukur yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan job diagnostic survey (JDS) yang dibuat oleh Hackman & Oldham (1975), Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS) yang dibuat oleh Lynch, Eisenberger & Armeli (1999), Utrecht Work Engagement Scale 9 (UWES-9) yang dikembangkan oleh Schaufeli & Bakker (2003).
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa job characteristic dan perceived organizational support berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap employee engagement sebesar 25,4%. Hal ini menunjukkan karakteristik pekerjaan dan dukungan organisasi dapat meningkatkan keterikatan karyawan. Kemunculan karakteristik pekerjaan dirasakan melalui tingginya persepsi karyawan atas variasi pekerjaan, identitas pekerjaan, signifikansi pekerjaan, otonomi, dan umpan balik yang berdampak pada peningkatan keterikatan karyawan. Selain itu, karyawan merasakan dukungan organisasi yang tinggi melalui perhatian perusahaan kepada kesejahteraan karyawan dan melalui pemberian bantuan. Namun, kepedulian organisasi kepada tujuan dan nilai-nilai pribadi karyawan serta perhatian perusahaan kepada pendapat karyawan masih dirasa sedang.

This study is to analyze the effect of job characteristic and perceived organizational support on employee engagement. The data were collected using questionnaire from 186 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple regression with SPSS 22. The instruments used in the questionnaire are Job Diagnostic Survey (JDS) by Hackman and Oldham (1975), Survey of Perceived Organizational Support (SPOS) by Lynch, Eisenberger & Armeli (1999) and Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES-9) by Schaufeli and Bakker (2003).
The result showed that job characteristic and perceived organizational support had significant impact on employee engagement in the amount of 25,4%. This finding shows that the characteristics of the work and support from the organizations will improve employee engagement. It shows job characteristic and organizational support can increase employee engagement. The emergence of job characteristics can be perceived through high employee perception on the variation of work, job identity, job significance, autonomy, and feedback impact on improving employee engagement. Besides, through the company's attention to the welfare of employees and through the provision of assistance, employees sense that organizational support is high. However, organizational concern to goals and personal values of employees and also the company's attention to the opinion of employees are still considered moderate.

"Fenomena yang menarik di PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), yaitu tingkat kepuasan dan engagement karyawan laut lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan karyawan darat, tetapi tingkat turnover karyawan laut lebih tinggi. Berbagai penelitian terdahulu menyatakan bahwa semakin tinggi employee engagement dan kepuasan kerja karyawan, maka semakin rendah tingkat turnover karyawan.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh employee engagement terhadap kepuasan kerja dan turnover intention, serta pengaruh kepuasan kerja terhadap turnover intention karyawan laut di PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner terhadap 661 responden menggunakan teknik Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) dalam pengelolaan data dan pengujian hipotesis.
Hasil penelitian ini mengkonfirmasi data empiris bahwa (1) employee engagement berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja. (2) Kepuasan kerja berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap turnover intention. Sedangkan (3) employee engagement tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap turnover intention.

The interesting phenomenon at PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero), the level of employee satisfaction and engagement seafarer is higher than onshore employees, but seafarer turnover lavel is higher. Various previous studies represent that more higher level employee engagement and employee satisfaction, then can getting lower the employee turnover.
This study aimed to analyze the effect of employee engagement on job satisfaction and turnover intention, as well as the effect of job satisfaction on employee turnover intention seafarer at PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero). This research is quantitative with data collecting questionnaires as much as 661 respondents, and process of data and hypothesis testing using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM).
The results of this study confirm the empirical data that (1) employee engagement is significant positive effect on job satisfaction. (2) Job satisfaction is significant negative effect on turnover intention. While (3) employee engagement is not significant effect on turnover intention.

Industri ritel modern saat ini berkembang pesat di Indonesia. Salah satunya adalah home and garden specialty retail seperti Ace Hardware Indonesia. Melihat peluang kedepan maka salah satu aspek yang harus diperhatikan oleh ritel modern adalah atmosfir toko. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana pengaruh dari persepsi atmosfir toko yang dirasakan konsumen yang mempengaruhi nilai belanja utilitarian dan hedonik serta kepuasan pelanggan. Sampel penelitian ini adalah konsumen yang dalam 6 bulan terakhir telah melakukan kunjungan ke gerai ritel Ace Hardware di wilayah Jabodetabek. Data yang diterima diolah menggunakan metode analisis Structural Equity Modelling (SEM). Hasilnya, atmosfir toko memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap nilai belanja hedonik dan utilitarian memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap kepuasaan pelanggan.
ABSTRACT
Modern retail industry is currently growing rapidly in Indonesia. One of them is home and garden specialty retail such as Ace Hardware Indonesia. By seeing an opportunity in the future, one of the aspects to be aware of by modern retail stores is the atmosphere. This research aims to see how the influence of the store atmosphere perception perceived by the consumers affects utilitarian and hedonic shopping value and customer satisfaction. The sample are consumers who in the past 6 months has made visits to Ace Hardware retail outlets in Jabodetabek area. The received data are processed using the analytical method of Structural Equity Modelling (SEM). As a result, the store atmosphere has a positive influence on the hedonic and utilitarian shopping value and on customer satisfaction."

"Dominasi generasi milenial di tempat kerja telah menarik perhatian pada bidang sumber daya manusia dikarenakan generasi milenial dapat dengan cepat meninggalkan organisasi dibandingkan generasi lainnya. Mengetahui banyaknya jumlah generasi milenial merupakan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh organisasi yaitu untuk menarik dan mempertahankan mereka. Perselisihan antara pekerjaan dan keluarga telah terbukti mempengaruhi turnover intention khususnya pada perempuan yang memiliki peran ganda. Diketahui pula, bahwa family-supportive organization environment terbukti memainkan dalam menurunkan keinginan karyawan untuk meninggalkan organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh kebijakan perusahaan dan dukungan atasan yang mendukung keluarga serta konflik yang melibatkan keluarga dan pekerjaan terhadap niat yang mengakibatkan keinginan berhenti pada karyawan perempuan generasi milenial di Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan total 185 responden dari berbagai sektor pekerjaan. Terdapat sepuluh hipotesis yang diuji dari model penelitian yang mengadopsi suatu metode yaitu Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Penelitian ini akan menjelaskan bahwa konflik yang terjadi pada domain pekerjaan dan keluarga akan berpengaruh ke turnover intention secara langsung dan tidak langsung menggunakan mediasi work engagement. Namun, tidak terdapat pengaruh antara family-supportive organization environment dengan turnover intention untuk karyawan perempuan milenial di Indonesia.

The dominance of millennials in the workplace has attracted attention to the field of human resources because millennials be able quickly leave their organization compared to other generations. Knowing the large number of millennials is a challenge faced by organizations, to attract and retain them. Disputes between work and family have been shown to affect turnover, especially in women who have dual roles. It is also known that the family-supportive organization environment has been shown to play a role in lowering the desire of employees to leave the organization. This study aimed to see the effect of company policy and the supervisor support that supports family and conflict involving family and work on intention that result in the turnover intention among female employees of the millennial generation in Indonesia. This study used quantitative design with a total of 185 respondents from various working sectors. There are ten hypotheses tested from the research model that adopt a method of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This study will explain conflict that happens in work domain and family will affect to turnover intention both directly and indirectly using work engagement mediation. However, there is no effect between family-supportive organization environment and turnover intention of millennial generation female employees in Indonesia."

"Peningkatan harapan hidup manusia akan menambah populasi lanjut usia diikuti dengan peningkatan problem, antara lain penurunan fungsi kognitif. Salah satu faktor risiko penurunan fungsi kognitif ialah social engagement yang dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan tempat tinggal. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode cross sectional di kelurahan Jelambar dan Jelambar Baru, Jakarta atas 286 lanjut usia yang tinggal di keluarga dan di panti werdha menunjukkan adanya pengaruh social engagement terhadap fungsi kognitif lanjut usia, terutama di kalangan panti werdha. Social engagement buruk berhubungan dengan gangguan fungsi kognitif setelah dikendalikan oleh aktivitas kognitif, khususnya pada kelompok social engagement buruk dan tinggal di panti; di kelompok lanjut usia perempuan, social engagement buruk berhubungan dengan fungsi kognitif lebih rendah. Komponen social engagement yang paling berperan terhadap fungsi kognitif para lanjut usia adalah aktivitas di masyarakat dan keanggotaan di kelompok masyarakat lain. Kegiatan ke luar rumah dan berbelanja, dan kerja sukarela/amal merupakan komponen aktivitas di masyarakat yang paling berpengaruh. Di kalangan perempuan, komponen social engagement yang paling berpengaruh adalah keanggotaan di kelompok lain. Aktivitas kognitif yang terbesar pengaruhnya adalah masak sendiri dan menonton siaran televisi berita.

The increase of life expectancy brings a problem of elderly, among others is problem of cogntive decline. One of the risk factors for cognitive decline is social engagement which can be influenced by living environment. This research was done with cross sectional method in kelurahan Jelambar and Jelambar Baru with 286 respondents living in family and institution. Social disengagement was associated with lower cognitive function, especially in institution, influenced by cognitive activity. Among women, social disengagement was associated with lower cognitive function. The most important component of social engagement are to become a member of social club and active in the community, especially outdoor activities and doing shopping for daily needs. Among women, the most important component of social engagement is to become a member of social club. Cognitive activity with biggest influence on cognitve function are self-cooking and watching news in television."

"ABSTRAK
Employee Engagement adalah topik yang sudah banyak dibahas dalam penelitian ilmu manajemen. Penelitian juga semakin berkembang karena keterkaitan antara teori dengan kondisi di dunia bisnis yang membutuhkan engagement dari karyawannya menjadi hal yang sangat penting. Yang dimaksud dengan employee engagement adalah keterikatan karyawan terhadap pekerjaan maupun perusahannya dalam makna positif sehingga dapat memberikan hasil yang baik bagi dirinya maupun perusahaannya. Variabel lain dalam penelitian ini adalah Person-Environment Fit yang merupakan kesesuaian antara karyawan dengan lingkungannya. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pengaruh person-environment fit terhadap employee engagement dengan mengambil sampel di salah satu perusahaan ritel yakni di PT XYZ, sebuah perusahaan ritel kosmetik di Indonesia dari brand internasional. Dengan sampel sebanyak 199 orang karyawan, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa person-environment fit berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap employee engagement.
