"Defisit empati dianggap sebagai faktor penting yang berperan dalam penyerangan seksual oleh remaja. Mereka mengalami defisit dalam empati, terutama empati terhadap korban spesifik mereka (victim empathy). Atas dasar tersebut, sebagian besar intervensi bagi pelaku kekerasan seksual mengikutsertakan empati dalam programnya. Penelitian terakhir menunjukkan bahwa empati pelaku kekerasan seksual terhadap korbannya terhambat oleh distorsi kognitif sehingga pelaku mengalami defisit pada victim empathy (Barnett dan Mann, 2013b). Salah satu intervensi yang bisa digunakan untuk menyasar distorsi kognitif adalah rational emotive behavioral therapy (REBT). Dalam penelitian ini, REBT bertujuan mengidentifikasi dan mengubah irrational belief pada remaja pelaku penyerangan seksual yang menghambat proses victim empathy mereka. Dengan demikian, mereka diharapkan mampu mengidentifikasi emosi dan kognisi secara lebih tepat sehingga mereka mampu melihat pengalaman orang lain secara tepat. Partisipan yang terlibat adalah dua orang tahanan remaja pria berusia 17 dan 19 tahun. Intervensi dilakukan dalam 6 sesi. Kedua partisipan mengalami peningkatan victim empathy dan general empathy, diketahui dari perbaikan skor victim empathy, interpersonal reactivity index (IRI), dan evaluasi kualitatif. Dari penelitian ini juga ditemukan bahwa irrational belief yang melandasi kekerasan seksual yang dilakukan oleh kedua partisipan adalah low tolerance belief dan selfdepreciation/other-depreciation belief.

Empathy deficit is considered as an important factor that contributes in juvenile sex offending. They have deficit in empathy, especially empathy for their specific victim (victim empathy). Recent research suggests that lack of victim empathy in them occur as a result of cognitive distortion (Barnett dan Mann, 2013b). One of the interventions that could be used to target cognitive distortions is rational emotive behavior therapy (REBT). In this study, REBT aims to identify and change the irrational belief in juvenile sex offenders which inhibit victim empathy. Thereby, they are expected to be able to identify their emotion and cognition accurately so that they are able to understand and feel others? experience appropriately. Participants involved were two adolescent male prisoners aged 17 and 19. Interventions conducted in 6 sessions. Result shows that both participants reported an increase in victim empathy and general empathy which is indicated by improvement in victim empathy score, interpersonal reactivity index (IRI) score, and qualitative evaluation. This research also found that irrational belief which underlies sexual offending for both participants is the low tolerance belief and self-depreciation/other-depreciation belief."

"ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas intervensi REBT dalam menangani perempuan yang mengalami kekerasan seksual dalam hubungan pacaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimental dengan desain before-after within subject. Alat ukur Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire dan Hopkins Symptom Checklist-25 digunakan untuk mengukur efektivitas intervensi. Pada akhir proses intervensi, empat partisipan perempuan yang mengikuti intervensi mengalami peningkatan tingkat self-acceptance dibanding sebelumnya. Mereka lebih menerima dan menghargai diri, mendapat pandangan baru terkait pengalaman kekerasan, serta memahami teknik-teknik yang aplikatif diterapkan untuk mengelola stres. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa intervensi REBT terbukti efektif untuk meningkatkan self-acceptance pada perempuan yang mengalami kekerasan seksual dalam hubungan pacaran.

ABSTRACT
This research aims to find out the effectivity of REBT in increasing self-acceptance for women who sexually abuse. The research was designed using one-group quasi experimental, before-after within subject. Unconditional Self-Acceptance Questionnaire and Hopkins Symptom Checklist-25 were used to measure the level of self-acceptance and psychological distress. This research found out the level of self-acceptance in all participants were increasing after intervention. The partisipants more able to unconditionally accept themselves, have more positive thoughts towards the past experience, and learn how to manage their stress."

orang lain dan lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendapatkan gambaran Pengaruh Rational Emotive
Behaviour Therapy terhadap penurunan perilaku kekerasan di ruang rawat inap RSMM Bogor. Desain
?Quasi Experimental Pre-Post Test with ?Control Group? dengan intervensi Rational Emotive
Behaviour Therapy (REBT). Sampel penelitian adalah 53 klien skizoprenia paranoid dengan PK,
terdiri atas 25 kelompok intervensi dan 28 orang kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
peningkatan respon kognitif dan sosial serta penurunan respon emosi, perilaku dan fisiologis secara
bermakna (P-value 0,05) pada klien yang mendapatkan REBT. REBT direkomendasikan untuk
diterapkan pada klien PK bersama dengan tindakan keperawatan generalis.

"Anak middle childhood yang memiliki kondisi Alopecia, atau kondisi medis yang membuat seseorang tidak dapat memiliki rambut di kepala dan/atau di bagian tubuh lainnya, akan sulit menerima kekurangan dirinya. Terlebih, ketika anak sering terpapar dengan reaksi lingkungan yang negatif terhadap penyakitnya, membuat anak rentan mengalami kemarahan. Ketika rasa marah belum dapat diregulasi dengan baik, maka muncul perilaku agresif sebagai bentuk dari ungkapan rasa marah tersebut. Partisipan pada penelitian merupakan seorang anak laki-laki berusia 9 tahun yang memiliki kondisi alopecia, memiliki masalah pada rasa marah dan melakukan perilaku agresif, serta memiliki irrational belief mengenai orang yang berada di sekitarnya. Ia beranggapan bahwa setiap orang yang bertanya mengenai topi yang ia kenakan pasti ingin mengejek kepalanya yang botak. Oleh karena itu, partisipan perlu mendapatkan suatu intervensi dengan menggunakan pendekatan kognitif untuk mengajarkan anger management dengan menggunakan prinsip Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) untuk mengelola rasa marah dan mengurangi perilaku agresifnya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas penerapan Anger Management berdasarkan prinsip REBT untuk menurunkan perilaku agresif pada anak alopecia menggunakan metode penelitian kuasi eksperiman single subject design. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini adalah terbukti efektif.

Children in middle childhood stage who has an Alopecia condition, or a medical condition of someone can never have hair on the head and/or on other parts of body, it will be difficult to accept their shortcomings. Moreover, when children are often exposed to negative environmental reactions to their illness, making children vulnerable to anger. When anger cannot be regulated properly, aggressive behavior emerges as a form of expressing anger. Participant in this study was a nine-year-old boy who had alopecia, had a problem with anger and carried out aggressive behavior, and had an irrational belief about those around him. He assumed that everyone who asked about his hat that he was wearing certainly want to taunt his bald. Therefore, participant need to get an intervention using a cognitive approach to teach anger management. The principles of Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) used in this research to manage anger and reduce aggressive behavior. The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the implementation of Anger Management based on the REBT principle to reduce aggressive behavior in alopecia children using the quasi-experimental method of single subject design. The results obtained from this study are proven effective."

"Angka perilaku kekerasan cukup tinggi pada klien gangguan jiwa yang dirawat di rumah sakit jiwa. Dampak perilaku kekerasan dapat berakibat mencederai orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas Terapi Musik dan rational emotive cognitive behaviour therapy (RECBT) terhadap perubahan tanda gejala dan kemampuan klien mengontrol perilaku kekerasan. Desain penelitian quasi eksperimental, jumlah sampel 64 responden dengan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukan penurunan tanda gejala perilaku kekerasan dan peningkatan kemampuan mengontrol perilaku kekerasan lebih besar pada kelompok yang mendapatkan terapi daripada yang tidak mendapatkan. Terapi Musik dan RECBT direkomendasikan sebagai terapi keperawatan pada klien perilaku kekerasan.

Prevalence of violence is highly occur in mental disorders clients at psychiatric hospitals. The impact is injure to others. This research aims to examine the effectiveness of music therapy and RECBT to sign and symptom and ability to control violent behaviour. Quasi-experimental research design with a sample of 64 respondents. The study found a decrease symptoms of violent behaviour, ability to control violent behavior include relaxation, change negative thingking, irational belief, and negative behavior have increased significantly than the clients that did not receiving therapy. Music therapy and RECBT is recommended as a therapeutic nursing at the client?s violent behaviour."

"Prokrastinasi merupakan masalah yang berawal dari kesulitan emosional, di mana individu enggan atau tidak tahan berhadapan dengan situasi yang dianggap aversif, yang kemudian termanifestasi dalam perilaku menunda atau menghindari tugas hingga mendekati batas waktu. Jika prokrastinasi akademis dibiarkan bertahan, maka hal tersebut dapat memberikan dampak negatif bagi para pelakunya. Peneliti bertujuan untuk melihat efektivitas dari penerapan teknik-teknik Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) yang dikembangkan oleh peneliti dalam mengatasi prokrastinasi akademik. Penelitian ini terdiri dari empat sesi pertemuan dan dua kali pengukuran. Desain penelitian adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan pre dan post test. Partisipan adalah tiga orang mahasiswa Fakultas Psikologi Universitas Indonesia yang sudah melewati masa studi normalnya, memiliki perilaku prokrastinasi tingkat tinggi berdasarkan Tuckman Procrastination Scale-16.
Dampak intervensi dilihat dari perubahan skor prokrastinasi dengan menggunakan alat ukur Tuckman Procrastination Scale-35 (TPS-35), dan perubahan intensitas emosi negatif dan pikiran irasional partisipan dengan menggunakan metode wawancara. Berdasarkan data kuantitatif yang diperoleh, satu orang partisipan mengalami penurunan skor TPS-35, sementara satu orang lagi tidak. Berdasarkan data kualitatif yang diperoleh, kedua partisipan mengalami perubahan intensitas emosi negatif dan pikiran irasional. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik-teknik REBT yang disusun oleh peneliti tidak mampu mengatasi perilaku prokrastinasi akademik. Namun demikian, intervensi ini mampu mengubah intensitas emosi negatif dan pikiran irasional kedua partisipan.

Procrastination is a problem that starts from emotional difficulties, in which individuals are reluctant or can not bear to deal with situations that are considered aversive, which is then manifested in the behavior of delaying tasks or avoiding to approach deadlines. If academic procrastination allowed to persist, then it can negatively impact the procrastinators. The aim of this research is to measure the impact of Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT) techniques, which was developed by researcher, in overcoming academic procrastination. The study consisted of four sessions and two measurements. The research design is quasi-experimental with pre and post test. The participants are three undergraduate students of the Faculty of Psychology at University of Indonesia who have passed their normal study time, have high levels of procrastination behavior measured by Tuckman Procrastination Scale-16.
The impact of this intervenstion is measured by Tuckman Procrastination Scale-35 (TPS-35), and changes in the intensity of negative emotions and irrational thoughts participants are measured by using interview. Based on the quantitative data obtained, one participant experienced a decrease in score of TPS-35, while the other is not. Based on qualitative data obtained, the two participants experienced a change in the intensity of negative emotions and irrational thoughts. This study showed that REBT techniques, which was developed by researcher, unable to overcome academic procrastination behavior. However, these intervention is able to change the intensity of negative emotions and irrational thoughts both participants.

"Gangguan jiwa 13% dari penyakit keseluruhan, kemungkinan berkembang menjadi 25% tahun 2030 (WHO,2009).
Tujuan : mendapatkan gambaran pengaruh CBT dan REBT terhadap penurunan gejala dan peningkatan kemampuan PK dan HDR.
Metoda : quasi experimental pre post test with control group, teknik purposive sampling terhadap 60 sampel : 30 intervensi dan 30 kontrol. Hasil penelitian ditemukan penurunan gejala dan peningkatan kemampuan klien PK dan HDR yang mendapat CBT dan REBT lebih besar disbanding yang tidak mendapat CBT dan REBT (p-value < 0,05).
Rekomendasi: CBT dan REBT dijadikan terapi spesialis terpadu disamping terapi generalis.

The goal: get an overview of CBT and REBT effect on reducing symptoms and increasing the ability of PK and HDR.
Method: quasi-experimental pre-post test with control group, purposive sampling technique on 60 samples: 30 intervention and 30 control. The study found a decrease symptoms and increase the ability of PK and HDR clients who received CBT and REBT is larger compared to that did not receive CBT and REBT (p-value <0.05).
Recommendation: CBT and REBT is used as therapy in addition to an integrated specialist generalist therapy."
