Philips Research, and SAP Research, develops a systematic approach to performance measurement for industrial research organizations in innovation-driven companies.
The following questions are addressed :
(1) Which research goals do research departments have?
(2) Which KPIs do they use to monitor the achievement of these goals?
(3) Is there a systematic best-practice approach to selecting KPIs for performance goals?
The outcome is a complete set of eleven performance clusters, such as the transfer of research results to the development or other organizational departments, and each cluster has its own set of KPIs. The eleven clusters are : technology transfer, future business opportunities, technical achievements, intellectual property, operational excellence, talent pool, image, publications, presence in scientific community, collaboration with academia, collaboration with partners and customers."

Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) have an important role in economic growth and development in various countries. In line with the increasingly open global economy, SMEs are beginning to expand their market to the international scale, and compete competitively with other SMEs as well as big businesses. This is only possible if SMEs adopt and utilize information, communication, and technology (ICT) and various application such as e-commerce and e-business. This paper describes a literature study on the role of ICT on the performance of SMEs and constraints in the adoption of ICT which has the potential to inhibit the optimization of ICT utilization by SMEs. "Manajemen pemeliharaan dalam industri minuman sangat berhubungan dengan produktivitas perusahaan sehingga dibutuhkan suatu sistem pengukuran kinerja. Dalam melakukan pengukuran dibutuhkan indikator pengukur kinerja agar dapat memberikan acuan terhadap proses pengukuran kinerja manajemen pemeliharaan. Metodologi yang dilakukan dalam menetapkan indikator kinerja kunci manajemen pemeliharaan adalah survey kuesioner. Responden survey merupakan praktisi ekspert bidang pemeliharaan di perusahaan minuman.
Hasil kuesioner merupakan data rating responden terhadap indikator kinerja pemeliharaan. Berdasarkan pengolahan data hasil survey kuesioner di 6 perusahaan minuman didapatkan 30 indikator kinerja kunci manajemen pemeliharaan. Kelompok indikator yang memiliki indikator kinerja kunci terbanyak adalah tipe kehandalan, sedangkan kriteria kunci dalam melakukan pengukuran adalah pencatatan data.

Maintenance management in the beverage industry is related to productivity so that the company needed a system of performance measurement. In measurements needed to gauge the performance indicators that can provide a reference to the performance measuring process of maintenance management. The methodology in setting key performance indicators of maintenance management is the questionnaire survey. Survey respondents are practitioners ekspert field maintenance in the beverage company.
The result is a data questionnaire respondents rating the indicators of performance maintenance. Based on the data processing results of the questionnaire survey in 6 beverage company established 30 key performance indicators of maintenance management. Indicator groups that have key performance indicators was the type reliability, while the key criteria in the measurement is the recording of data.

"ABSTRACT
National governments rely on global performance indicators to
measure where they stand and to build future strategies. However, no previous
study has compiled various indices to investigate pathways to government
performance. We use fuzzy set analysis to investigate what role each of five
determinants of government performance trait competitiveness, change oriented
citizenship behavior, public service motivation, organizational identification,
and corruption tolerance play in three representative government performance
indicators Government Effectiveness, Government Efficiency, and
Throughput. The results indicate that government performance as measured
by these three indicators is commonly tied to strongly public service motivated
employees. These three indicators are distinguished from one another with
regard to the number of factors that contribute to the construction of sufficient
configurations, the role of innovation inclined factors, and the role of corruption
tolerance."

"Organizations perform all activities and operations within a framework, which are built on its vision and mission. The performance of each activity and operation can be measured using Key Performance Indicators (KPI), which indicate the organization’s success in achieving its strategic objectives. KPI is widely used not only by profit-oriented organizations, but also by non-profit organizations such as government agencies. Government agencies have different characteristics in terms of funding, programs, and culture. This research describes the development of KPI in an Indonesia government agency. This research was conducted in three stages: evaluating the organization’s vision and mission; determining the organization’s position using Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (SWOT) analysis; and preparing a strategic plan, and developing the priorities of that plan using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The result of KPI development shows that the government agency has eight strategic objectives and five KPI."

Seiring dengan meningkatnya persaingan dan tantangan teknologi dalam industri konstruksi yang semakin kompleks di Indonesia, perusahaan-perusahaan nasional Indonesia perlu memiliki indikator kinerja kunci (IKK) yang merupakan tolok ukur keberhasilan untuk menghadapi persaingan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan indikator kinerja teknik yang sesuai dengan tujuan perusahaan. Analisis kualitatif dilakukan untuk mendapatkan indikator kinerja dan melanjutkan dengan metode pengukuran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 7 kinerja diukur untuk menngetahui kinerja Divisi Enjiniring berdasarkan tahapan proses kerja enjiniring. 

 

 

 


Along with the increasing competition and technological challenges in the increasingly complex construction industry in Indonesia, Indonesian national companies need to have a key performance indicators (KPIs) which is a measure of success in facing competition. The purpose of this study is to obtain technical performance indicators that are in line with the company`s objectives. Qualitative analysis is carried out to get performance indicators and continued with the measurement method. The results showed that there were 7 performance measures to determine the performance of the Engineering Division based on the stages of the engineering work processes.

"Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan indikator kinerja kunci pada manajemen pemeliharaan industri farmasi dan mengetahui kesesuaian indikator kinerja kunci tersebut dengan perspektif Maintenance Scorecard. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuesioner dan wawancara. Kuesioner dikirim ke 10 industri farmasi. Kuesioner yang kembali sebanyak 4 kuesioner. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan Microsoft Excel untuk perhitungan nilai skor.
Dari penelitian ini didapatkan 30 indikator kinerja kunci manajemen pemeliharaan pada industri farmasi. Kriteria pencatatan data merupakan kriteria dengan nilai rata-rata tertinggi 19. Dari 6 perspektif Maintenance Scorecard yang ada, hanya 5 perspektif yang sesuai dengan indikator kinerja kunci pada penelitian ini.

The purpose of this research is to obtain key performance indicators in maintenance management of pharmaceutical industry and to know the correlation between key performance indicators and perspectives of Maintenance Scorecard. This research is using interview and questionnaire as a method. Questionnaires are sent to 10 pharmaceutical company. There are only 4 questionnaire which have returned. The data processing is done by using Microsoft Excel for the calculation of scoring value.
This research find there are 30 indicators as a key performance indicator in maintenance management of pharmaceutical industry. The criteria of data record represent as a criteria with the highest average value, the score is 19. From 6 perspective in Maintenance Scorecard, its only 5 perspective that match with the key performance indicators in this research.

"Industri fesyen Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan selama satu dekade terakhir. Namun, praktik pada industri fesyen ternyata menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi aspek lingkungan dan sosial. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, pemerintah Indonesia mendorong industri fesyen untuk menerapkan praktik berkelanjutan demi mempertahankan dan meningkatkan daya saing di pasar global karena hal itu dipercaya sebagai masa depan bisnis. Oleh karena itu, perlu ditentukan indikator utama dalam penerapan sistem rantai pasok berkelanjutan di industri fesyen yang dapat digunakan untuk mengukur kinerja sistem rantai pasok berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan indikator kinerja utama (KPI) yang relevan dalam penerapan rantai pasok berkelanjutan di industri fesyen Indonesia. Di tahap awal, penelitian ini meninjau indikator keberlanjutan yang ada untuk dijadikan shortlist indikator awal. Kemudian, indikator tersebut divalidasi dan dinilai oleh delapan ahli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Content Validity Index (CVI) untuk memvalidasi indikator dan metode DANP untuk menganalisis hubungan dan prioritas indikator. Penelitian ini menghasilkan 21 indikator dari tiga dimensi berkelanjutan. Dimensi yang paling penting adalah ekonomi dan indikator yang paling penting adalah biaya operasional, kepuasan pelanggan, kepatuhan lingkungan, penggunaan teknologi ramah lingkungan, serta pendidikan dan pelatihan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat digunakan lebih lanjut oleh industri fesyen untuk meningkatkan kinerja keberlanjutan mereka.

The Indonesian fashion industry has continuously been growing since the last decade. However, the fashion industry practices produce negative environmental and social consequences. To overcome these issues, the Indonesian government encourages Indonesian fashion industries to adhere to sustainable practices to maintain and improve competitiveness in the global market since it is believed to be the future of the business. Therefore, it is necessary to determine the main indicators of sustainable practices in the fashion industry to measure the performance of a sustainable supply chain system. This study aims to develop a set of relevant key performance indicators (KPIs) in implementing a sustainable supply chain for the Indonesian fashion industry. Initially, this study reviewed the existing sustainability indicators to develop an initial short-list of indicators. Then, indicators were validated and assessed by a group of eight experts. This study utilized content validity index (CVI) methods to validate the indicators and DANP method to analyze and prioritize the indicators. This study resulted in 21 indicators from three sustainability dimensions. The most important dimension was economic and the most important indicators were operating costs, customer satisfaction, environmental compliance, implementation of environmentally friendly technology, and education and training. The result of this study could be further used by the fashion industries to improve their sustainability performance."
