"Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh infusa daun sukun (Artocarpus altilis) terhadap kadar bilirubin serum tikus putih yang diinduksi CCl4. Pengambilan darah tikus dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali, yaitu sebelum perlakuan, setelah induksi CCl4, dan satu jam setelah pemberian infusa daun sukun. Kadar bilirubin yang diukur untuk penelitian adalah bilirubin total dan bilirubin direct. Tiga puluh ekor tikus dibagi menjadi 5 kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol normal (KK1), kelompok kontrol perlakuan yang diinduksi CCl4 (KK2), dan kelompok perlakuan yang diinduksi CCl4 dan infusa daun sukun dengan dosis 2,7 g/kg BB tikus; 5,4 g/kg BB tikus; dan 10,8 g/kg BB tikus (KP1, KP2, dan KP3). Bahan uji diberikan sebanyak 4 kali dalam kurun waktu 48 jam. Hasil uji anava (P<0,05) pada pengambilan darah yang terkahir menunjukkan bahwa adanya pengaruh pemberian infusa daun sukun terhadap rerata kadar bilirubin total dan direct pada semua kelompok perlakuan. Hasil penelitiaan menunjukkan bahwa dosis 10,8 g/kg BB tikus dapat menurunkan rerata kadar bilirubin total (0,56 mg/dL) dan direct (0,47 mg/dL) yang paling optimum hingga mendekati dosis pada kontrol normal.

The present of study was done to determine the effects of breadfruit leaf infusion intake on serum biliribun level in male Sprague Dawley rat which induced by CCl4. Bilirubin levels were measured for 3 times, before treatment, 12 hours after CCl4- induced, and one hour after the last intake of breadfruit leaf infusion. The level of bilirubin serum which measured for this research are total bilirubin and direct bilirubin. Thirty male of rats were divided into 5 groups, consisting of normal control group (KK1), treatmant control group which induced by CCl4 (KK2), and treatmant group which induced by CCl4 and administrated with 3 doses of bread fruit infusion; 2,7 g/kg bw; 5,4 g/kg bw, and 10,8 g/kg bw (KP1, KP2, and KP3) respectively. Infusion of breadfruit leaf was given orally and administrated for four times in 48 hours. Anava test (P>0,05) shows that infusion of breadfruit leaf have an effect to total bilirubin and direct bilirubin in all three doses groups. Dose of 10,8 g/kg bw can decrease the rate of total bilirubin (0,56 mg/dL) and direct bilirubin (0,47 mg/dL) near to normal level in normal control group. Its conclude that administration of breadfruit leaf infusion have an optimum dose at 10,8 g/kg bw.

"Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian infusa daun sukun (Artocarpus altilis) terhadap kadar serum glutamic pyruvic transaminase (SGPT) dan serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase (SGOT) tikus (Rattus norvegicus) jantan yang diinduksi CCl4. Sebanyak 30 ekor tikus dibagi ke dalam 5 kelompok, yaitu: kelompok kontrol normal (KK1), kelompok kontrol perlakuan yang diinduksi CCl4 (KK2), kelompok perlakuan yang diinduksi CCl4 dan diberi infusa daun sukun dengan tiga dosis larutan yaitu 2,7; 5,4; dan 10,8 g/kg BB (KP1, KP2, dan KP3). Pemberian infusa daun sukun dilakukan sebanyak empat kali dengan selang waktu 12 jam. Pengambilan darah dilakukan tiga kali, yaitu: sebelum diberikan perlakuan, 12 jam setelah diinduksi CCl4, dan satu jam setelah pemberian infusa daun sukun yang terakhir. Kemudian dilakukan analisis sampel darah berdasarkan metode IFCC. Data rerata kadar SGPT dan SGOT akhir adalah sebagai berikut: KKI (33,67 ± 5,5) dan (34,83 ± 8,01) U/L; KK2 (131,67 ± 4,76) dan (128 ± 12,93) U/L; KP1 (92,83 ± 3,76) dan (89,17 ± 4,71) U/L; KP2 (71,17 ± 5,15) dan (79,83 ± 10,3) U/L; serta KP3 (50,17 ± 4,17) dan (66,67 ± 7,61) U/L. Hasil uji LSD (P < 0,05) menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan nyata antara kelompok perlakuan dengan kelompok kontrol KK2. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pemberian infusa daun sukun (Artocarpus altilis) berpengaruh terhadap kadar SGPT dan SGOT pada dosis 2,7; 5,4; dan 10,8 g/kg BB.

The result demonstrated potential beneficiary effect of breadfruit leaf infusion (Artocarpus altilis) for recovery SGPT and SGOT levels of 2,7; 5,4; and 10,8 g/kg bw.

"Penyakit hati merupakan penyakit yang dapat disebabkan oleh beberapa hal, salah satunya radikal bebas. Radikal bebas dapat menyerang membran sel hati (hepatosit), menyebabkan terjadinya peroksidasi lipid dan berujung pada kerusakan pada hepatosit. Kerusakan hati dapat dilihat dari meningkatnya kadar enzim alkali fosfatase pada serum. Pemberian infusa daun bertujuan untuk mengobati kerusakan hati, karena daun sukun memiliki kandungan flavonoid yang diduga berperan sebagai antioksidan. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan untuk melihat potensi kuratif infusa daun sukun untuk mengobati kerusakan hati. Hewan uji yang digunakan adalah tikus jantan galur Sprague Dawley yang dibagi dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan yakni KK1, KK2, KP1, KP2, dan KP3. Tikus diinduksi dengan karbon tetraklorida (CCl4) dosis 280 mg/kg BB, kemudian diberikan infusa daun sukun untuk KP1, KP2, dan KP3 secara berturut-turut dengan dosis 2,7; 5,4; dan 10,8 g/kg BB sebanyak 4 kali dengan selang waktu 12 jam. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, terjadi penurunan kadar ALP serum pada tikus KP1, KP2, dan KP3 secara berturut-turut sebesar 20,66%, 26,45%, dan 33,89% jika dibandingkan dengan kadar ALP serum tikus yang diinduksi CCl4 (KK2). Dosis 10,8 g/kg BB merupakan dosis yang memberikan penurunan kadar ALP yang paling mendekati kadar normal.

Liver disease is one disease that can be caused by several things, one of which is free radicals. Free radicals can attack the cell membrane of the hepatocytes, causing lipid peroxidation and result in damage to the hepatocytes. Liver damage can be seen from the elevated alkaline phosphatase levels in serum. Administration of breadfruit leaves infusion aims to treat liver damage, as breadfruit leaf contains flavonoids which allegedly acted as an antioxidant. Research carried out is to look at the ability of breadfruit leaves infusion to treat liver damage. Tested animals were Sprague Dawley strain male rats divided into five groups namely KK1, KK2, KP1, KP2 and KP3. Rats induced by carbon tetrachloride (CCl4) dose of 280 mg/kg, then given the breadfruit leaves infusion for KP1, KP2 and KP3 respectively at a dose of 2.7; 5.4; and 10.8 g kg 4 times with an interval of 12 hours. Based on the results of the study, decreased of serum ALP levels in KP1, KP2 and KP3 rats amounted to 20.66%, 26.45%, and 33.89% when compared to CCl4 induced rats (KK2). Dose of 10.8 g/kg is the dose that gives the most reduction in ALP levels approaching normal levels.

"[ABSTRAK
Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui kadar kreatinin plasma tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.) jantan galur Sprague-Dawley setelah pemberian infusa daun sukun (Artocarpus altilis). Sebanyak 30 ekor tikus dibagi menjadi 6 kelompok, yaitu 2 kelompok kontrol dan 4 kelompok perlakuan yang diinduksi CCl4 kemudian diberikan infusa daun sukun dengan dosis 1,35; 2,7; 5,4; dan 10,8 g/kg BB. Uji kualitatif pada infusa daun sukun menunjukkan bahwa infusa daun sukun memiliki aktivitas antioksidan serta mengandung senyawa alkaloid dan flavonoid. Infusa diberikan sebanyak empat kali dengan selang waktu 12 jam. Pengambilan darah dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali, yaitu sebelum perlakuan, 12 jam setelah induksi CCl4, dan satu jam setelah pemberian infusa terakhir. Analisis sampel darah dilakukan menggunakan metode kolorimetri. Induksi CCl4 berhasil meningkatkan kadar kreatinin plasma tikus di atas batas normal. Rerata kadar kreatinin plasma tikus setelah pemberian infusa terakhir yaitu KK1 (0,80 0,11); KK2 (1,44 0,21); KP1 (1,12 0,42); KP2 (0,76 0,40); KP3 (0,56 0,06); dan KP4 (0,76 0,17). Uji LSD (P<0,05) menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan bermakna antara KK2 dengan KK1, KP2, KP3, dan KP4. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pemberian infusa daun sukun dengan dosis 2,7; 5,4; dan 10,8 g/kg BB berpengaruh terhadap kadar kreatinin plasma tikus.

"Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui bahwa ekstrak etanol rimpang temu mangga Curcuma mangga Val. berpengaruh terhadap kadar bilirubin total dan bilirubin direct akibat kerusakan hati yang diinduksi oleh karbon tetraklorida CCl4 . Hewan uji yang digunakan dalam penelitian yaitu 24 ekor tikus Rattus norvegicus L. jantan galur Sprague-Dawley yang dibagi menjadi enam perlakuan KK1, KK2, KP1, KP2, KP3, dan KP4 dengan empat kali ulangan. Kelompok KK1 merupakan kelompok kontrol normal yang tidak diinjeksikan CCl4 dan dicekok CMC 0.5 , KK2 merupakan kelompok kontrol perlakuan yang diinjeksikan CCl4 sebanyak 1 ml/kgBB secara intraperitoneal dan dicekok CMC 0,5 . Kelompok KP1, KP2, KP3, dan KP4 merupakan kelompok perlakuan yang diinjeksikan CCl4 1 ml/kgBB dan diberikan ekstrak temu mangga dengan dosis berturut-turut 10 mg/kgBB, 20 mg/kgBB, 40 mg/kgBB, dan 80 mg/kgBB. Hasil uji non parametrik Kruskal-Wallis ? = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa dosis 10 mg/kgBB, 20 mg/kgBB, 40 mg/kgBB, dan 80 mg/kgBB berpengaruh terhadap kadar bilirubin total dan bilirubin direct. Hasil uji perbandingan berganda Dunnett T3 ? = 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa dosis-dosis tersebut tidak berbeda bermakna dengan KK1. Dengan demikian dosis-dosis tersebut memiliki efek kuratif karena dapat menurunkan kadar bilirubin total dan direct sampai mendekati kadar normal.

This study was conducted in order to observe that the ethanol extract of mango ginger rhizome Curcuma mangga Val. affect the level of total bilirubin and direct bilirubin due to liver damage induced by tetrachloride carbon CCl4 . The test animals in the study were 24 male rats Rattus norvegicus L. of Sprague Dawley strain that was divided into six treatment KK1, KK2, KP1, KP2, KP3 and KP4 and repeated four times. The KK1 group is a normal control group that was not injected with CCl4 and 0.5 CMC fed, KK2 group is a treatment group that was intraperitoneally injected with CCl4 treatment in the amount of 1 ml kgBW and 0.5 CMC fed. KP1, KP2, KP3 and KP4 are treatment groups that got injected with CCl4 1 ml kgBB and were given mango ginger rhizome ethanol extract each with a dose of 10 mg kgBW, 20 mg kgBW, 40 mg kgBW, and 80 mg kgBW respectively by oral. The results of Kruskal Wallis non parametric test 0,05 shows that the dose of 10 mg kgBW, 20 mg kgBW, 40 mg kgBW, and 80 mg kgBW impacted on total bilirubin and direct bilirubin levels. Dunnet rsquo s T3 0,05 multiple comparison test result shows that the dosages had no significant differences with KK1 group. In conclusions, the dosages could be deemed as have curative effects since they successfully reduce the level of total bilirubin and direct bilirubin until it approached normal level.

Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian simplisia Alphitobius sp. terhadap konsentrasi kolesterol total plasma darah tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.) jantan galur Sprague-Dawley. Dua puluh empat ekor tikus dibagi dalam 6 kelompok perlakuan yang terdiri atas kelompok kontrol normal yang hanya diberi pakan standar, kelompok kontrol perlakuan yang diberi diet tinggi lemak, dan 4 kelompok perlakuan yang diberi diet tinggi lemak dan bahan uji simplisia Alphitobius sp. dengan dosis 2,25 mg/kg bb, 4,5 mg/kg bb, 6,75 mg/kg bb dan 9 mg/kg bb. Pemberian bahan uji dan diet tinggi lemak dilakukan selama 14 hari berturut-turut. Hasil uji Anava satu arah (P < 0,05) menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang nyata terhadap konsentrasi kolesterol total akhir pada semua dosis perlakuan. Penurunan konsentrasi kolesterol terbesar dicapai oleh kelompok dosis 4,5 mg/kg bb yang juga merupakan dosis efektif dalam menurunkan konsentrasi kolesterol total yang mendekati nilai kelompok kontrol normal.

"Penelitian telah dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian infusa kayu secang (Caesalpinia sappan L.) terhadap peningkatan volume urine tikus putih (Rattus norvegicus L.) jantan galur Sprague-Dawley. Sebanyak 25 ekor tikus dibagi dalam 5 kelompok, terdiri atas kelompok kontrol negatif yang diberi akuabides (KKN), kelompok kontrol positif yang diberi larutan furosemide dosis 3,6 mg/kg bb (KKP), dan tiga kelompok eksperimen yang diberi infusa kayu secang dosis 250 mg/kg bb (KE1), 500 mg/kg bb (KE2), dan 1.000 mg/kg bb (KE3).
Penelitian menggunakan metode Lipschitz yang telah dimodifikasi. Tikus dipuasakan selama 18 jam sebelum pemberian bahan uji, kemudian urine ditampung selama 6 jam menggunakan kandang metabolisme individual. Rerata volume total urine yang diperoleh adalah sebagai berikut: KKN (1,17+0,15) ml; KKP (2,67+0,19) ml; KE1 (2,07+0,30) ml; KE2 (2,71+0,34) ml; dan KE3 (2,21+2,21) ml.
Hasil uji analisis variansi (ANAVA) 1 faktor (P < 0,05) menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh pemberian infusa kayu secang terhadap peningkatan volume urine tikus putih. Hasil uji beda nyata terkecil (LSD) (P < 0,05) menunjukkan tidak terdapat perbedaan nyata antara KE2 dengan KKP. Hal tersebut membuktikan infusa kayu secang dosis 500 mg/kg bb memberikan peningkatan volume urine tertinggi dengan aktivitas diuretik kuat sebesar 122,22%.

A study has been conducted to determine the effect of sappanwood (Caesalpinia sappan L.) infusion with the increment of urine volume in male Sprague-Dawley albino rats (Rattus norvegicus L.). A total of 25 rats were divided into 5 groups, consisting of a negative control group treated with aquabidest (KKN), a positive control group treated with a solution of furosemide at dose of 3,6 mg/kg bw (KKP), and three experimental group treated with sappanwood infusion at dose of 250 mg/kg bw (KE1), 500 mg/kg bw (KE2), and 1.000 mg/kg bw (KE3).
Diuretic activity was evaluated using modified Lipschitz method. The rats were fasted for 18 hours prior to administration of the test substance, then the urine collected for 6 hours using individual metabolic cages. The mean of total urine volumes obtained, are as follows: KKN (1,17+0,15) ml; KKP (2,67+0,19) ml; KE1 (2,07+0,30) ml; KE2 (2,71+0,34) ml; and KE3 (2,21+2,21) ml.
The result of the 1-factor analysis of variance (ANOVA) (P < 0,05) showed that there was an effect of sappanwood infusion along with the increased volume of rats urine. The result of the least significant difference (LSD) test (P < 0,05) showed no significant differences between KE2 to the KKP. Thus, the sappanwood infusion at dose of 500 mg/kg bw provides the highest increase in urine volume with high diuretic activity amounted to 122,22%.

"Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian fortifikan Fe fumarat dalam susu kedelai terhadap kadar zat besi plasma darah tikus (Rattus norvegicus L.) jantan galur Sprague-Dawley. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL), terdiri atas 25 ekor tikus putih jantan yang dibagi ke dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu KK 1 yang diberi larutan CMC 0,5%; KK 2 yang diberi larutan CMC 0,5% dan susu kedelai tanpa fortifikan; dan KP 1, 2, dan 3 yang diberi larutan CMC 0,5% dan susu kedelai dengan fortifikan Fe fumarat dosis 1,35 mg Fe/ kgBB, 2,7 mg Fe/ kg BB, dan 5,4 mg Fe/ kgBB selama 21 hari berturut-turut. Pengambilan darah dilakukan pada hari ke-0 dan setelah pencekokan hari ke-21. Darah dipreparasi menggunakan destruksi basah lalu ditentukan kadar zat besinya dengan AAS (Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer). Hasil uji ANAVA satu arah (P < 0,05) menunjukkan pengaruh nyata pemberian fortifikan Fe fumarat dalam susu kedelai terhadap kadar zat besi antar kelompok perlakuan. Peningkatan kadar zat besi tertinggi terjadi pada KP 1 yaitu sebesar 27,90% terhadap KK 1 dan 17,49% terhadap KK 2.

The effect of Fe fumarate fortificant addition in soy milk intake on plasma iron concentration of male Sprague-Dawley rats (Rattus norvegicus L.) had been studied. By using Complete Random Design (CRD), twenty five rats were divided into five groups, consist of normal control group (KK 1) which was administered with CMC 0.5% solution, treatment control group (KK 2) which was administered with CMC 0.5% solution and unfortified soy milk, and three treatment groups which were administered with soy milk added with fortificant Fe fumarate 1.35 mg Fe/kgbw (KP 1); 2.7 mg Fe/kgbw (KP 2); and 5.4 mg Fe/kgbw (KP 3). All of the five groups were treated for consecutive 21 days. The plasma iron concentration was measured by Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS). One way ANOVA test and post-hoc LSD test (P < 0.05) showed significant effect of fortificant Fe fumarate addition in soy milk intake on plasma iron concentration in all treatment groups. The highest increase of plasma iron concentration was detected on KP 1, which is 27.90% to KK 1 and 17.49% to KK 2."

"Telah dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fortifikan NaFeEDTA dalam tepung tahu terhadap jumlah sel darah merah tikus putih Rattus norvegicus L. jantan galur Sprague-Dawley. Metode penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap RAL , terdiri atas 25 ekor tikus putih jantan yang dibagi ke dalam 5 kelompok perlakuan, yaitu KK 1 yang diberi larutan CMC 0,5 ; KK 2 yang diberi CMC 0,5 dan suspensi tepung tahu tanpa fortifikan; dan KP 1, 2 dan 3 diberi CMC 0,5 dan tepung tahu dengan fortifikan NaFeEDTA dosis 2,7 mgFe/kgBB; 5,4 mgFe/kgBB; dan 10,8 mgFe/kgBB selama 14 hari. Pengambilan darah dilakukkan pada hari ke-0 dan setelah perlakuan pada hari ke-14. Jumlah sel darah merah dihitung menggunakan alat hematology analyzer. Hasil uji ANAVA satu arah P < 0,05 menunjukkan pengaruh nyata pemberian fortifikan NaFeEDTA dalam tepung tahu terhadap jumlah sel darah merah antar kelompok perlakuan. Hasil uji LSD P < 0,05 menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan jumlah sel darah merah yang nyata antara KK 1 dengan semua kelompok perlakuan KP 1, KP 2 dan KP 3 ; KK 2 dengan semua kelompok perlakuan pada t14 dan antar semua kelompok perlakuan. Peningkatan jumlah sel darah merah tertinggi terjadi pada KP 2 yaitu 22,26 terhadap KK 1; dan 20,24 terhadap KK 2.

The effect of fortificant NaFeEDTA inserted in tofu flour intake on red blood cell count in male Sprague Dawley rats Rattus norvegicus L. has been studied. Twenty five rats were divided into five groups, consist of normal control group KK 1 which was administered with CMC 0,5 , treatment control group KK 2 which was administered with CMC 0,5 and tofu flour non fortificant, and three treatment groups which was administered with CMC 0,5 and tofu flour added with fortificant NaFeEDTA 2,7 mgFe kgbw KP 1 5,4 mgFe kgbw KP 2 and 10,8 mgFe kgbw KP 3 . All the five groups were treated for 14 consecutive days. Red blood cell count was measured by automatic hematology analyzer. One way ANOVA test P 0,05 showed significant effect of fortificant NaFeEDTA inserted in tofu flour intake red blood cell count in all treatment groups. LSD test P 0,05 showed that the red blood cell count significantly different between KK 1 towards all treatment groups KK 2 towards all treatment groups and all the treatment groups. The highest increase of red blood cell count was detected on KP 2 at t14 which is 22,26 to KK 1 and 20,24 to KK 2. "

"Telah dilakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian madu PS (Pollen Substitute) terhadap konsentrasi trigliserida plasma darah tikus (Rattus norvegicus L.) jantan galur Sprague-Dawley. Dua puluh empat tikus jantan dibagi dalam empat kelompok, yaitu kelompok kontrol normal (KK1) yang tidak diberi diet tinggi lemak, kelompok kontrol perlakuan (KK2) yang diberi diet tinggi lemak, larutan propylthiouracil (PTU) 0,01%, dan akuades, dan dua kelompok perlakuan (KP1 dan KP2) yang diberi diet tinggi lemak, larutan propylthiouracil (PTU) 0,01%, dan madu PS dengan dosis masing-masing 10% dan 20% b/v. Bahan uji diberikan setiap hari selama 14 hari berturut-turut.
Hasil uji anava satu faktor (P < 0,05) menunjukkan adanya pengaruh nyata pemberian madu PS terhadap konsentrasi trigliserida akhir pada semua kelompok perlakuan. Hasil uji LSD (P<0,05) menunjukkan penurunan konsentrasi trigliserida pada seluruh kelompok perlakuan (KP1 dan KP2). Konsentrasi trigliserida pada kelompok perlakuan yang mendekati kelompok kontrol normal dicapai oleh kelompok perlakuan dengan dosis 20% b/v.

The research was done to observe the effect of honey PS (Pollen Substitute) on the concentration of triglyceride in blood plasma of male rat (Rattus norvegicus L.) Sprague-Dawley strain. Twenty-five male rats were divided into four groups, consisting of normal control group (KK1) that was not given a high fat diet, treatment control group (KK2) that was given a high fat diet, 0.01% propylthiouracil (PTU) solution, and two treatment groups (KP1 and KP2) that were given a high fat diet, 0.01% propylthiouracil (PTU) solution, and honey PS with dose of 10% and 20% w/v, respectively, for 14 consecutive days.
The result of anova test (P < 0.05) showed significant effect of honey PS toward triglyceride concentration in all treatment groups. LSD test (P < 0,05) showed that the decreased blood total cholesterol concentration occurred at both treatment groups (KP1 and KP2). The concentration of triglyceride in the treatment group that approached the normal control group achieved by the treatment group with dose of 20% w/v.
