"Citra digital merupakan salah satu data atau informasi yang sering disalahgunakan, oleh karena itu pengamanan data citra digital menjadi hal yang penting dan mendesak. Salah satu pengamanan bisa dilakukan dengan menerapkan algoritma enkripsi Rijndael. Empat proses utama algoritma ini terdiri dari satu proses permutasi (ShiftRows) dan tiga proses subtitusi (SubBytes, MixColumns, dan AddRoundKey) dan juga proses penjadwalan kunci. Dalam tugas akhir ini akan dibahas tentang pengamanan data citra digital oleh algoritma Rijndael dan juga implementasi algoritma ini dalam mengamankan citra digital. Algoritma Rijndael merupakan algoritma enkripsi yang dapat diaplikasikan untuk pengamanan data berbentuk citra digital.

Digital image is a form of data or information which is often manipulated, therefore securing digital image becomes urgently important. Rijndael encryption algorithm can be used to secure it. This algorithm consists of a permutation process (ShiftRows), three substitution processes (SubBytes, MixColumns, and AddRoundKey), and also the key scheduling process. In this minithesis, the problem that will be discussed is about securing digital image with Rijndael algorithm and also the implementation of this algorithm on securing digital image. Serpent Algorithm is a symmetric algorithm that can be used to encryption. In the Serpent algorithm, there are some operations of mathematics: permutation, exclusive or, modulo, linear transformation, and shift. user can choose the length of key that will be used for encryption and decryption.

Untuk itu, penelitian ini akan menganalisis peraturan terkait penggunaan teknologi pengaman atau DRM di Indonesia serta membandingkannya dengan peraturan di Amerika Serikat. Serta, penelitian ini juga akan menjelaskan mengenai implementasi penggunaan teknologi pengaman atau DRM terhadap sebuah buku elektronik (e-book). Adapun, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan sumber-sumber penelitian dan data yang diperoleh melalui studi kepustakaan. Kesimpulan yang dapat diambil adalah walaupun secara umum peraturan mengenai Teknologi Pengaman atau DRM telah termuat di dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 (“UUHC”), namun peraturan tersebut belum memberikan pengaturan secara mendetail terkait dengan penggunaan sebuah Teknologi Pengaman atau DRM. Sehingga, Indonesia dapat mengadopsi peraturan yang ada di Amerika Serikat terkait dengan Teknologi Pengaman atau DRM dengan tetap memperhatikan dan menyesuaikan peraturan tersebut dengan kondisi Indonesia.

Throughout the technological development, people can easily access all kinds of digital version of the work that can be found through internet. This also has a negative impact, where some acts of copyright infringement against e-book in Indonesia are increasingly difficult to avoid. Therefore, the use of Digital Rights Management (“DRM”) is expected to be one of the efforts to protect copyright of e-book in Indonesia. To that end, this research will analyze regulations related to the use of DRM in Indonesia and compare them with regulations in the United States. Additionally, this research will also explain the implementation of the use of DRM on an e-book. Meanwhile, this research was conducted using research sources and data obtained through literature studies. The conclusion that can be taken is that although the regulations regarding DRM have been contained in Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 (“UUHC”), but the regulation has not provided detailed arrangements related to the use of DRM. Thus, Indonesia can adopt existing regulations in the United States related to DRM while paying attention to and adjusting the regulations to Indonesian conditions."
