"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan jenis ungkapan metaforis bahasa Jepang yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu girlband AKB48, dilihat dari sudut pandang metafora konseptual. Tujuan lainnya yaitu untuk menjelaskan kekhasan pengaruh latar belakang budaya masyarakat Jepang dalam pembentukan metafora yang dilihat dari konsep ranah sumber metafora yang dialihkan ke ranah sasaran. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori metafora konseptual dari Lakoff dan Johnson (1980), teori analisis komponen makna dari Nida (1975). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah ungkapan metaforis yang terdapat dalam lirik lagu girlband AKB48. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat tiga jenis ungkapan metaforis dalam lirik lagu AKB48, yaitu metafora struktural, metafora ontologis dan metafora orientasional. Pembentukan metafora konseptual tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor kedekatan masyarakat Jepang dengan alam tetapi juga dipengaruhi oleh faktor sistem sosialmasyarakat Jepang.

This study aims to find metaphorical expression in Japan language that include in AKB48 lyrics based on conceptual metaphor point of view, and then describe the typical of Japanese cultural influences in forming the metaphor analized by source domain which transfered to target domain. The research applies qualitative method and uses the conceptual metaphor theory by Lakoff and Johnson (1980) and componential analysis of meaning by Nida (1975). The data taken from the metaphorical expression in AKB48 song lyrics.

The result shows that there are three kinds of metaphorical expression; that is structural metaphor, ontological metaphor and orientational metaphor. The conceptual metaphor formation is not only influenced by relationship between Japanese society and nature but also the inter-social system itself. "

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas mengenai jenis ungkapan metaforis yang terkandung dalam lirik-lirik lagu pada album Luminous oleh Kitou Akari serta makna yang terkandung di dalamnya, dari sudut pandang metafora konseptual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan teori metafora konseptual dari Lakoff dan Johnson (1980). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menjelaskan makna yang terkandung dalam ungkapan metafora pada lirik lagu dalam album tersebut dan mengklasifikasikannya sesuai dengan sudut pandang metafora konseptual. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan 36 ungkapan metaforis, yang terbagi ke dalam metafora struktural, metafora orientasional, dan metafora ontologis. Ungkapan metaforis yang ditemukan mempunyai makna mengenai emosi serta sudut pandang baru mengenai hidup Kitou Akari selama bertambahnya usia yang ingin ia sampaikan melalui album tersebut.

This study aims to discuss the types of metaphorical expressions found in the lyrics of the album Luminous by Kitou Akari, as well as the meanings contained within them, from the perspective of conceptual metaphor. This research employs a qualitative approach using the conceptual metaphor theory by Lakoff and Johnson (1980). The purpose of this study is to explain the meanings conveyed through metaphorical expressions in the lyrics of the album and classify them according to the conceptual metaphor perspective. The study identified 36 metaphorical expressions, which are categorized into structural metaphor, orientational metaphor, and ontological metaphor. The metaphorical expressions found convey meanings related to emotions and Kitou Akari's new perspectives of life as she grows older, which she intends to convey through the album."
