"IKM Kosmetik dihadapkan pada kebutuhan dan tantangan yang kompleks dari masyarakat dan pemerintah untuk menuju industri yang inklusif dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini dibuat untuk membantu mereka dalam memodelkan permasalahan yang dihadapi untuk mencapai tujuannya, termasuk pilihan strategi yang mungkin untuk meningkatkan keunggulan dimensi operasi manufaktur, ekonomi, lingkungan dan sosial. Penelitian ini mengajukan sebuah kerangka integrasi konsep lean dan green yang kemudian diuji dipraktikkan di dalam suatu model sistem dinamis untuk mendapatkan strategi perbaikan berdasarkan temuan yang didapatkan sejak pengembangan model konseptual, pembuatan model sistem dinamis, dan berbagai eksperimen melalui skenario menggunakan model sistem dinamis tersebut (model-based strategy). Kompleksitas penelitian ini adalah perhatian kepada faktor-faktor yang multi-dimensi yang mencakup multi-aktor (multi-stakeholder) yang terlibat, dimensi waktu dan dimensi indikator penilaian kinerja dari sistem. Metode utama di dalam penelitian ini adalah metodologi sistem dinamis, yang dikombinasikan dengan alat bantu focus group discussion, wawancara mendalam, causal loop diagram, green value stream mapping, life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) dan stock and flow diagram. Peneliti merekomendasikan tiga alternatif strategi, dengan mempertimbangkan kemampuan sumber daya internal IKM dan keterlibatan stakeholder sebagai sumber daya eksternal IKM. Secara keseluruhan, model yang dihasilkan pada penelitian ini memperjelas peran dan kontribusi para stakeholder dan manajer dengan cara yang terstruktur dan sistematis.

Cosmetics SMIs are faced with complex needs and challenges from society and government towards an inclusive and sustainable industry. This research was created to assist them in modeling the problems faced to achieve their goals, including the choice of alternative strategies to increase the advantages of the dimensions of manufacturing operations, economic, environmental and social. This study proposes an integration framework of lean and green concepts which is tested and practiced in a system dynamic model to obtain improvement strategies based on the findings obtained from conceptual model development, system dynamic modeling, and various experiments through scenarios using the system dynamic (model-based strategy). The complexity of this research is the attention to the multi-dimensional factors that include the multi-actor (multi-stakeholder) involved, the dimension of time and performance appraisal indicators of the system. The main method in this research is the system dynamic methodology, which is combined with focus group discussion tools, in-depth interviews, causal loop diagrams, green value stream mapping, life cycle impact assessment (LCIA) and stock and flow diagrams. The researcher recommends three alternative strategies, considering the capacity of the SMI's internal resources and the involvement of stakeholders as external resources of the SMI. Overall, the model produced in this study clarifies the roles and contributions of stakeholders and managers in a structured and systematic way."
