Selain itu, dengan membangun sesuatu yang menekankan gagasan hidup sehat bisa membantu orang untuk meningkatkan gaya hidup mereka sehari-hari . Sehubungan dengan desain proyek terbaru dari studio dan metode , ide berkelanjutan dapat diterapkan untuk proyek yang dicampur pembangunan perumahan dan tempat pembuatan . Ide berkelanjutan dapat diterapkan melalui cahaya alami dan efisiensi ruang . Tulisan-tulisan akan menggabungkan analisis dari cahaya alami serta penataan ruang untuk unit perumahan . Selain analisis proyek ini dan eksplorasi itu didasarkan pada proyek selesai penulis untuk studio dan metode yang terletak di kota Perth.

Nowadays, as an architect, we need to think further related to the changing environment and mostly people are looking something that is really sustainable and environmentally friendly. Besides, by building something that emphasizes the idea of healthy living could help people to improve their daily lifestyle. In relation to the latest project design of studio and method, the idea of sustainable could be applied to the project which is mixed housing development and place making. The idea of sustainable could be applied through natural light and spatial efficiency. The writings will combine analysis from the natural light as well as the spatial arrangement for the residential unit. Besides this project analysis and exploration it is based on author’s completed project for studio and method that is located in the city of Perth."

"Arsitketur mempunyai kemampuan untuk mengartikulasi ruang sesuai dengan tujuannya dan fotografi sebagai alat untuk mengukur kemampuan tersebut. Oleh karena itu arsitektur dan fotografi adalah sesuatu yang saling terkait. Kaitan antara fotografi dan arsitektur menjadi semakin erat apabila fotografi dapat digunakan secara lebih mendalam dalam proses perancangan. Foto sebagai hasil dari fotogafi merupakan hasil akhir dari sebuah proses fotografi.Tesis desain ini mencoba untuk mendapatkan manfaat lebih dari foto tersebut sehingga dapat digunakan dalam proses perancangan. Riset ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Bga metode yang berbeda, yaitu pertama pengambilan gambar yang berupa foto, kedua pembacaan foto oleh Bga agen, dan yang ketiga layering terhadap fokus foto Bap agen untuk melihat gejala simbolik yang terjadi pada foto tersebut.Narasi dari pembacaan foto yang dilakukan oleh keBga agen akan dikolaborasikan sehingga didapat collaborative idea pada seBap foto yang dilihat untuk mendapatkan hasil pembacaan yang lebih objektif karena seBap agen mempunyai persepsinya sendiri -­‐ sendiri dan dapat di interpretasikan kembali untuk mendapatkan gejala simbolik pada seBap foto. Dengan gejala simbolik yang ada dalam setiap foto tersebut akan digunakan dalam proses perancangan sehingga pengalaman yang dihadirkan berdasarkan fokus -­‐ fokus oleh seBap agen dapat memberikan pengalaman sama pada tempat yang berbeda seperti yang dirasakan oleh seBap agen.

Architecture have the ability to articulate its intended space and photography as a tool to measure the ability. Therefore architecture and photography is something interrelated. The link between photography and architectural photography to be more closely if it can be used in more depth in the design process. Photos are the result of a photographic process.

This design thesis is trying to get more benefits from the photo so it can be used in the design process. The research was conducted using three different methods, namely, first shooting a photo, the second reading of the photograph by the three agencies, and the third to focus photo layering each agent to see the symbolic symptoms that occur in the photo.

Narrative of the readings done by third photo agency will collaborate in order to get collaborative idea on eachphoto to see to get a more objective reading of results because each agency has its own perception and can be interpreted in a symbolic return to get symptoms on each photo. With symbolic symptoms present in each photo will be used in the design process so that the experiences presented by focus by each agency can provide similarexperiences in different places as perceived by each agent."

"ABSTRAKDiagram merupakan salah satu tools yang sangat umum digunakan dalam proses desain. Dalam proses desain, diagram berperan sebagai generator atau alat generatif. Mencari bagaimana diagram beroperasi dalam proses desain merupakan tujuan dari penulisan skripsi ini. Dalam skripsi ini akan dibahas mengenai peran diagram sebagai mesin abstrak melalui proses dan karakternya sebagai mesin abstrak. Proses reduksi dan proliferating dalam diagram bekerja secara terus-menerus dalam mengolah matter, yang merupakan input utama. Melalui proses reduksi dan proliferating, diagram melakukan proses konstruksi pemahaman baru secara terus menerus, yang dapat dilihat sebagai proses desain yang dilakukan dalam diagram. Pemahaman ini kemudian dipakai untuk membaca proses desain pada House IV oleh Peter Eisenman. Proses desain yang dilihat dari diagram House IV terjadi melalui operasi transformasi dan operasi Boolean.

ABSTRACTDiagram is a common tool used in the design process. Diagram acts as a generator or a generative tool in the design process. The purpose of this paper is to look for how the diagram operates in the design process. This paper will discuss the role of the diagram as an abstract machine through the processes in it, as well as the characteristics of the abstract machine. The reduction and the proliferating process in the diagram worked continuously in processing the matter, which is the main input. Through the processes of reduction and proliferating, diagrams construct a new understanding of matter continuously, which can be seen as a design process done in a diagram. This comprehension is then used to read the design process of House IV by Peter Eisenman. The design process seen in the diagrams of House IV by Peter Eisenman is done with the transformation and Boolean operation."

"Penerapan komponen arsitektur informasi yang sesuai dengan kerangka teoritis arsitektur informasi merupakan salah satu cara untuk memastikan ketergunaan dari suatu situs web. Oleh karena itu, perlu dilakukan suatu analisis arsitektur informasi pada situs web Perpustakaan Universitas Indonesia (UI) untuk memastikan ketergunaannya, Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis komponen arsitektur informasi dari situs web Perpustakaan UI Penelitian kualitatif ini menggunakan metode observasi terhadap situs web Perpustakaan UI serta wawancara informan untuk menganalisis penerapan sistem organisasi, sistem pelabelan, sistem navigasi, dan sistem pencarian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa situs web Perpustakaan UI secara keseluruhan telah menerapkan komponen arsitektur informasi sesuai dengan konsep arsitektur informasi. Hal tersebut terlihat dari penerapan sistem organisasi yang variatif dan tertata secara praktis, sistem pelabelan yang mengedepankan pemaknaan yang jelas bagi pengguna, sistem navigasi yang dapat memfasilitasi pengguna dalam menjelajahi situs web, serta sistem pencarian yang terdiri dari beragam mesin pencari untuk menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pengguna. Temuan menarik lainnya adalah penerapan konsep Responsive Web Design dalam pengembangan situs web serta pemanfaatan mesin pencari Google Custom dalam mengatasi keterbatasan dalam mesin pencari tertanam pada situs web Perpustakaan UI.

Implementing information architecture components in accordance with the theoretical framework of information architecture is one way to ensure the usability of a website. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct an analysis of the information architecture on the Universitas Indonesia (UI) Library website to ensure its usability. The purpose of this research is to analyze the information architecture components of UI Library website. This qualitative research uses the method of observations of UI Library website and informant interviews to analyze the implementation of its organization systems, labeling systems, navigation systems, and search systems. The research findings showed that UI Library website as a whole has implemented the components of information architecture in accordance with the concept of information architecture. This can be seen from the implementation of a varied and practical organization system, a labelling system that prioritizes clear interpretation for users, a navigation system that can facilitate users in browsing the website, and a search system consisting of various search engines, to suit diverse user needs. Other findings are the application of Responsive Web Design in the website’s development and the use of Google Custom search engine to overcome the limitations in the UI Library website embedded search engine."
