"ABSTRAKSkripsi ini menyelidiki problem prediksi ilmu sosial yang hadir dalam kemunculan peristiwa-peristiwa Black Swan, yang mempersoalkan kekeliruan dan kegagalan prediksi atas peristiwa sosial-historis yang akan terjadi di masa depan. Dengan problem ini, saya memberikan afirmasi atas ketidakmungkinan pemerolehan hukum historis yang dinyatakan oleh Popper dalam kritiknya terhadap historisme. Fenomena Black Swan menunjukkan bahwa dunia sosial itu acak dan tidak terprediksi sehingga regularitas, generalisasi, dan abstraksi hukum sosial itu tidak mungkin untuk diperoleh. Sekaligus, ini melemahkan keajegan prediksi historis ilmu sosial yang merupakan akibat dari dogmatisasi metode, arogansi epistemik, dan penerimaan yang mutlak terhadapnya yang bisa jatuh pada bentuk utopianisme. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskripsi-kualitatif yang bersifat eksploratif dan analisis konseptual. Skripsi ini adalah afirmasi terhadap inprediktabilitas historis ilmu sosial.

ABSTRAKThe problem of historical prediction of social science presents in the emerge of Black Swan events, which discuss about the mistake and failure of the prediction of future social historical events. By this problem, I give an affirmation to the impossibility to find the law of historical as Popper stated in his criticism of historicism. The Black Swan phenomena shows that social world is random and unpredictable thus generalization, regularity, and abstraction of law are impposible to be reached. Furthermore, it debilitates the absolutization of historical prediction of social science as an effect from the dogmatization of method, epistemical arrogance, and unconditional acceptance to historical prediction that may fall into a form of utopianism. The methods of this study is explorative qualitative description and conceptual analysis. This study is the affirmation of historical inpredictability of social science. "

"ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan di desa Krenceng, Kecamatan Nglegok Kabupaten Blitar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan informasi tentang kontribusi wanita dalam usaha gula semut. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 40 orang. Data yang dikumpulkan meliputi data primer dan sekunder. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dalam usaha gula semut wanita berperan memasak nira sampai menjadi gula. Curahan waktu yang dihabiskan oleh wanita untuk kegiatan ini relatif lebih sedikit daripada laki-laki yang berperan sebagai penderes, namun jika ditinjau dari pekerjaan rumah tangga secara keseluruhan maka curahan waktu yang dihabiskan oleh wanita lebih besar daripada laki-laki. Penggunaan uang hasil usaha dikelola bersama-sama untuk kepentingan rumah tangga, menyekolahkan anak, dlsb. Namun pengambilan keputusan khususnya untuk hal-hal yang menyangkut pengolahan gula seut, wanita lebih dominan daripada laki-laki."

"ABSTRACTPenelitian ini menjelaskan pengaruh tingkat dukungan sosial terhadap tingkat well-being mahasiswa migran penerima program Afirmasi Pendidikan ADik Papua dan Daerah 3T terdepan, terluar, dan tertinggal di Universitas Indonesia. Studi-studi sebelumnya memperlihatkan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki permasalahan terkait ketidaksiapan mental, hubungn sosial, dan ekonomi. Studi melihat permasalahan mahasiswa migran sebagai bentuk rendahnya tingkat well-being yang disebabkan oleh rendahnya tingkat dukungan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengen teknik pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui survei kepada 34 mahasiswa, wawancara mendalam kepada 6 mahasiswa, studi dokumen, dan observasi. Dalam analisis dukungan sosial, pihak yang dinilai paling memberikan dukungan adalah teman dan orang tua, sedangkan yang kurang memberikan dukungan adalah pemerintah daerah. Sementara itu dalam analisis well-being, skor terendah terdapat pada mental well-being. Uji regresi menunjukkan terdapat tiga model yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap well-being mahasiswa yaitu dukungan emosional, dukungan jaringan, dan dukungan informasi. Sementara itu, peneliti menduga terdapat varibel lain yang turut mempengaruhi well-being mahasiswa yaitu jaringan kelompok keagamaan mahasiswa berdasarkan wawancara mendalam dan observasi dan religiositas mahasiswa berdasarkan studi litelatur.

ABSTRACTThis study explains the effect of social support level to migrants students well being receiving Papua Education Affirmative ADIK program and 3T Outside, Outermost and Left behind regions at the University of Indonesia. Previous studies discussed that students have problems related to mental, social, and economic unpreparedness. This study explains the migrant students problems as a form of low levels of well being caused by low levels of social support. This study uses quantitative approaches with data collection techniques obtained through surveys to 34 students, in depth interviews to 6 students, document studies, and observations. In the analysis of social support, the parties who are most likely to provide support are friends and parents, while the local governments give less supports. Meanwhile, in a well being analysis, the lowest score is in the well being mentality. Regression test showed that there are three models that have significant influence on student well being that is emotional support, network support, and information support. Meanwhile, the researcher suspect that there are other variables that influence the well being of students, namely the network of religious groups of students based on in depth interviews and observation and students religiosity based on review study."

"The purpose of this study is to examine the process of globalization in the Korean context and resultant changes in major social institutions and cultural values, especilly the impact of the recent economic crisis and subsequent neoliberal reform on traditional confucian values. The financial crisis in 1997 forced the Korean government to ask for IMF loans, to which conditionaly in the form of neoliberal economic reform is costumarily attached. Indeed the IMF is one of the many international organizations through which globalization as a hegemonic ideology propagates neoliberalism to the whole world based on the so-called Washington consensus. the economic crisis and the IMF-led neoliberal reform have resulted in changes in many areas: mass unemployement and employement instability; changes in family roles and marriage patterns; and polarization of income distribution with the shrinking middle class. Neoliberalizm also promotes such values as competitiveness, individualism, materialism, efficiency and instrumental rationality, which are in sharp contrast to thee traditional confucian values. In fact the neoliberal reform following the economic crisis created not only the social environment where confucian legacies can no longer hold, but also value conflicts between the upper and the lower classes and between the younger and the older generations."
