"Gim atau gim video merupakan sebuah permainan yang berbasis video yang memiliki konflik, peraturan, dan ditambah kemampuan sang pemain sendiri dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan yang menjadi tujuan akhir permainan tersebut. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana gim You Are Empty karya 1C Games dapat merepresentasikan ide–ide mimpi ideal Uni Soviet atau Soviet Dream dari unsur – unsur dalam gim tersebut. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah metode analisis konten visual kualitatif yang dikemukakan oleh Klaus Krippendorff serta teori circuit of culture dari du Gay dalam buku Stuart Hall. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa contoh representasi Soviet Dream yang menggambarkan adanya kegagalan dalam pencapaian mimpi ideal tersebut yang justru merugikan masyarakat Uni Soviet.
