"Over one hundred species of Indonesia's native orchids had been propagated generatively at Bogor Botanic Garden during the last seven years. Germination of 100 species Vacin and Went and Hyponex media were varied in regard to their requiremnet. However, some orchids showed a tendency to germinate better in one of the medium. The result presented in this paper is designated as a guideline to put the priority setting of Indonesia's native orchid propagation program in Bogor Botanic Garden"

"ABSTRACT
The genus Amydrium belongs to the Araceae family, consists of five species that is A. hainanense H.Li, Y.Shiao & S.L. Tseng, A. sinense (Engl.) H.Li, A. humile Schott, A. medium (Zoll. & Moritzi) Nicolson and A. zippelianum (Schott) Nicolson. The last three species are found in Indonesia whereas the first two species occurs in Vietnam and China. Amydrium humile is found restrictly in Sumatera and Malay Peninsula and considered rare in the wild due to habitat loss by human activities. Bearing no flowers on its climbing shoot A. humile is unique among other member of the genera. The species is collected from Regist 9B Seminung, Mount Lumbok Seminung Protected Forest, West Lampung Regency and cultivated in Bogor Botanic Gardens. "

"The genus Huperzia is an epiphitic fern of the family lycopodiaceae which has potential value as an ornamental plant. However, information on its usage, cultivation, and conservation aspects are still limited. Bogor Botanic Garden as an ex-situ conservation institution plays an important role in conserving the genus. Exploration activities have been done in many places in Indonesia. Until now, Bogor Botanic Garden has collected several specimens from North and West Sumatra and Maluku."

Lodoicea maldivica (J. F. Gmel) Pers. is a unique plant with the largest seed in the world. This is an endemic species to the Seychelles in Africa. Categorized as vulnerable plant, L. maldivicia get lost of threats. Ex situ conservation has been done in a number of Botanic Garden including Bogor Botanic Garden. The Bogor Botanic Garden has a female collection of L. maldivica and artificial pollination has been conducted using the male flower from Singapore Botanic Garden. This artificial pollination has been succesfully done and now the plant are bearing 3 fruits. "
