ABSTRACTKokoleceran ( Vatica bantamensis) is the floral emblem of Banten, but its existence is worrying because (1 )
its has been endangered, (2) in natural habitat although still exist but low population, (3) collection at Bogor Botanical Garden is getting old and difficult to bear fruit, (4) propagation has not been successful, and (5) despite reintroduction but not yet monitored. If this condition is left then it will be more worrisome. We will be sorry if the used plant it becomes extinct. May many people care and immediately take meaningful action to save V. bantamensis from extinction."

ABSTRAKBurahol (Stelechocarpus burahol (blume) Hook.f. & Thomson) belongs to Annonaceae family (custardapple). Burahol distributes in Southeast Asia, and commonly cultivated in Java. Bogor Botanic Gardens has 12 specimens of Burahol. The fruit almost globose, brownish, pericarp brown, juicy, edible. The seeds have various form with cryptogeal germination (durian type)."

ABSTRACTLitter productivity of forests within Cibodas Botanical Gardens area was 9510.04 ton/ha/year with the largest litter composition derived from leaves and then followed by stems and twigs, barks, fine litter, fruits and flowers respectively. There were totally 89 species of leaf litter consisting trees, shrubs, herbs, epiphytes, ferns and mosses found in Cibodas Botanical Garden forests. Leaf Utter was dominated by Altingia excelsa and then followed by Ficus involucrata, Villebrunea rubescens and Neonauclea lanceolata respectively. Flowers and fruits litter productivity data were representation of plant phenology."

ABSTRACTIn a state, Human Resources acting as public service actors for example in a developing country such as lndonesia called Civil Servant. The mission of state personnel in the era of the ASN Act is to move the Civil State Apparatus from the comfort zone to the competitive zone. The human resources at Bogor Center for Plant Conservation Botanical Gardens amounted to 261 people with details of 12 employees occupying structural positions (1 0 employees with concurrent functional posts), 130 employees occupying 9 certain functional positions, and 131 employees occupying general functional positions. After analyzing and mapping the employee, there were 23 staffs in 5 certain functional positions, 2 persons in Personnel Analyst, 7 persons in Public Relation Department, 7 persons in the position of Archive, 6 persons in Position of Computer Companion, and 1 person in Position of Goods / Services Procurement Manager. With the data, to go to the era of ASN Regulation which has begun in 2018, it is necessary to make a good plan of human resources, so that the goals and targets of an agency can be achieved."

ABSTRACTInventory of plant species was conducted in area surrounding Wamena Biologi Botanic Gardens in 2013. Observation and interview, completed with literature study was carried out to enrich our understanding about these species utilisation by local community. This study found 28 species grew in the surrounding area of Wamena Biologi Botanic Garden was utilized by local community in Wamena as foods, fuel, crafts and daily tools, house and fence construction, traditional medicines and antiseptics as well as ornamental plants."

ABSTRACTThe genus Amydrium belongs to the Araceae family, consists of five species that is A. hainanense H.Li, Y.Shiao & S.L. Tseng, A. sinense (Engl.) H.Li, A. humile Schott, A. medium (Zoll. & Moritzi) Nicolson and A. zippelianum (Schott) Nicolson. The last three species are found in Indonesia whereas the first two species occurs in Vietnam and China. Amydrium humile is found restrictly in Sumatera and Malay Peninsula and considered rare in the wild due to habitat loss by human activities. Bearing no flowers on its climbing shoot A. humile is unique among other member of the genera. The species is collected from Regist 9B Seminung, Mount Lumbok Seminung Protected Forest, West Lampung Regency and cultivated in Bogor Botanic Gardens. "

However, information on its usage, cultivation, and conservation aspects are still limited. Bogor Botanic Garden as an ex-situ conservation institution plays an important role in conserving the genus. Exploration activities have been done in many places in Indonesia. Until now, Bogor Botanic Garden has collected several specimens from North and West Sumatra and Maluku."

ABSTRAKSikajau rimbo (Pterolobium densiflorum Prain) belongs to the Caesalpiniaceae family and was found growing at submontane zone at air Tarusan Nature Reserve, West Sumatera Province. It grows along river banks and hillslopes on rocky and sandy soils. It produces dense inflorescenes and winged pods with beautiful colour. Stem and leaf are thorny, which helps the plant to climb. Local people use the plant as a medicine for kidney-stone."
