"ABSTRACTAs a country that has a long history, Indonesia has a very rich national cultural heritage. Strategically located in the trading route, automatically shapes the culture of this country. The cultural heritages, which are ranging variously from traditional dance, traditional foods, traditional music and songs, languages, clothes, and many more, spread evenly throughout the regions in Indonesia. There are two kinds of cultural heritage, namely tangible cultural heritage and intangible cultural heritage, which Indonesia has both types. The great number of these cultural inheritances should be preserved and protected by the go vernment."

"Skripsi ini membahas peranan organisasi Viet Minh Dalam Revolusi Kemerdekaan Vietnam 1945-1954. Peranan Viet Minh selama masa Revolusi Kemerdekaan 1945-1954 dapat dilihat dalam aktivitas yang dijalankan oleh Viet Minh dalam peperangan sebagai upaya merebut kemerdekaan. Viet Minh merupakan wadah perjuangan bagi sebagian besar rakyat Vietnam dalam upaya merebut kemerdekaan pasca-kekalahan Jepang dalam PD II. Viet Minh memiliki latarbelakang sejarah panjang yang terkait dengan komunisme yang dibangun oleh Ho Chi Minh. Skripsi ini menggunakan metode sejarah sebagai metode penelitiannya. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh dari pembahasan skripsi ini ialah Viet Minh merupakan wadah perjuangan yang berhasil dalam cita-citanya, yakni memerdekakan Vietnam.

"ABSTRAKTesis ini mengevaluasi kebijakan komunikasi Pemerintah atas upaya pelestarianangklung, dalam kaitannya dengan diplomasi kebudayaan sebagai bentukkomunikasi internasional. Instrumen angklung sendiri telah diakui sebagaiwarisan kebudayaan tak benda asal Indonesia oleh UNESCO pada November2010 lalu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metodologi kualitatif dengan desainevaluatif menggunakan model studi kasus. Adapun hasil penelitian inimengungkapkan bahwa kebijakan komunikasi Pemerintah sebagaimana dokumenkomitmen yang ditandatangani pada sidang UNESCO tahun 2010 lalu belumterwujud. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa dibutuhkan kebijakan komunikasiyang integratif dari Pemerintah agar pengakuan angklung sebagai warisankebudayaan tak benda ini dapat dioptimalkan sebagai alat diplomasi kebudayaanyang efektif bagi komunikasi internasional Indonesia.

Abstract This thesis was evaluating the government communication policy for thesafeguarding of angklung, regarding to the cultural diplomacy as a form ofinternational communication. UNESCO has approved Angklung instrument itselfas an intangible cultural heritage from Indonesia on November 2010. Thisresearch was using a qualitative method with an evaluated design in a study casemodel. Therefore, the result of this research showed that governmentcommunication policy, as a document of commitment that is signed in theUNESCO convention in the year 2010, hasn?t been accomplished. This researchwas concluding that the integrated communication policy by the government forangklung existence as an intangible cultural heritage was needed to optimize theeffectiveness of cultural diplomacy for the international communication ofIndonesia."
