"Penelitian ini menyelidiki efektivitas audience effect dan positive reinforcement terhadap tugas berbasis waktu yang diukur dalam waktu penyelesaian. Partisipan dalam percobaan ini adalah 30 mahasiswa sarjana di University of Queensland. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen kelompok independen menggunakan desain 3 tingkat yang mengalokasikan peserta ke dalam tiga kelompok berbeda: peserta melakukan tugas tanpa penonton, dengan penonton, dan dengan penonton disertai dengan positive reinforcement yang diterapkan. Hasil penelitian ini pada jangka waktu dalam menyelesaikan tugas yang diberikan (50-piece puzzle) sebagai dependent variable menunjukkan hasil yang tidak signifikan. Hasil ini tidak mendukung temuan sebelumnya yang menunjukkan bahwa positive reinforcement ditemukan untuk memberikan efek terbalik di mana hal itu menyebabkan peserta untuk melakukan tugas lebih lama.
The present study investigates the effectiveness of audience effect and positive reinforcement towards a time-based task measured in completion time. Participants in this experiment were 30 undergraduate University of Queensland students. The study is an independent groups experiment research using a 3-level design which allocates the participants into three different group: participants undertaking the task without audience, with an audience, and with an audience accompanied by positive reinforcement being applied. The result on the time taken to complete the given task (50-piece puzzle) as the dependent variable showed a non-significant result. These results do not support previous findings and showed contradicting findings that positive reinforcement was found to give a reversed effect where it causes participants to do the task longer."

"Kinerja tugas guru di Indonesia menjadi salah satu faktor penting dalam suksesnya proses pendidikan di Satuan Pendidikan. Namun kondisi yang terjadi masih perlu mendapatkan perhatian yakni kinerja tugas guru di provinsi Lampung masih perlu ditingkatkan. Berdasarkan literatur review peneliti melihat dalam studi pendahuluan yang sudah dilakukan di temukan bahwa kreativitas guru SMA Negeri XYZ sebesar 72,2 % sehingga kreativitas guru masih harus ditingkatkan karena hal ini yang disampaikan kepala sekolah bahwa ada sebagian guru yang terkadang masih selalu menggunakan metode-metode lama karena menganggap bahwa metode dan teknologi yang terbaru dianggap menyulitkan jadi guru masih suka menggunakan metode lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti keterhubungan variabel kreativitas, Kegigihan, dan kinerja tugas pada guru SMA di Bandar Lampung (studi 1), yang hasil analisis di studi 1 menjadi acuan untuk melakukan intervensi berupa training bagi guru di studi 2. Pengukuran kinerja tugas ( Task Performance)dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi alat ukur Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) Versi Bahasa Indonesia (Koopmans, 2011, dalam Widyastuti & Hidayat, 2018). Pengukuran kreativitas dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi alat ukur Runco Ideational Behavior Scale (RIBS) Versi Bahasa Indonesia (Plucker dkk., 2006). Pengukuran kegigihan (Grit) dilakukan dengan mengadaptasi alat ukur The Short Grit Scale (Duckworth & Quinn, 2009, dalam Aprilolita, 2020). Partisipan penelitian adalah 215 orang guru SMA di Bandar Lampung. Hasil membuktikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kreativitas dan Kegigihan (grit) terhadap kinerja tugas, semakin tinggi kreativitas dan kegigihan (grit) guru SMA di Bandar Lampung, maka semakin meningkatkan kinerja tugas guru SMA di Bandar Lampung. Program intervensi training kreativitas efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja tugas guru SMA di Bandar Lampung (Skor Wilcoxon Asymp. Sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < 0,05) dengan kenaikan skor rata-rata pretest dan posttest sebesar 5,38. Dengan demikian training kreativitas perlu diterapkan bagi guru SMA di Bandar Lampung guna meningkatkan kinerja tugas.

Teacher of task performance in Indonesia is an important factor in the success of the educational process in educational units. However, the conditions that occur still need attention, namely the task performance of teachers in Lampung province still needs to be improved. Based on the literature review, the researcher saw that in the preliminary study that had been carried out, it was found that the creativity of teachers at SMA Negeri because they think that the latest methods and technology are considered difficult, so teachers still like to use old methods. This study aims to examine the relationship between the variables creativity, grit, and task performance in high school teachers in Bandar Lampung (study 1), the results of the analysis in study 1 become a reference for carrying out interventions in the form of training for teachers in study 2. Measurement of Task Performance is carried out by adapting the Indonesian version of the Individual Work Performance Questionnaire (IWPQ) measuring tool (Koopmans, 2011, in Widyastuti & Hidayat, 2018). Creativity was measured by adapting the Indonesian version of the Runco Ideational Behavior Scale (RIBS) measuring instrument (Plucker et al., 2006). Grit measurement was carried out by adapting the Short Grit Scale measuring tool (Duckworth & Quinn, 2009, in Aprilolita, 2020). The research participants were 215 high school teachers in Bandar Lampung. The results prove that there is a positive and significant influence between creativity and grit on task performance, the higher the creativity and grit of high school teachers in Bandar Lampung, the greater the task performance of high school teachers in Bandar Lampung. The creativity and grit training intervention program was effective in improving the task performance of high school teachers in Bandar Lampung (Wilcoxon Asymp. Sig score (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05) with an increase in the average pretest and posttest score of 5.38. Thus, grit training needs to be implemented for high school teachers in Bandar Lampung to improve the task performance."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap task performance yang dimediasi individual readiness for change dan psychological capital. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan telekomunikasi seluler di seluruh Indonesia yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Total sampel berjumlah 275 karyawan. Metode analisis yang digunakan yaitu structural equation modeling dengan menggunakan aplikasi LISREL. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa psychological capital memediasi pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap individual readiness for change dan task performance. Akan tetapi, perceived organizational support dan individual readiness for change tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan secara langsung terhadap task performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of perceived organizational support in task performance mediated by individual readiness for change and psychological capital. This research is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional design. The samples of this study were employees who work in cellular telecommunication companies throughout Indonesia, obtained using purposive sampling. The total samples were 275 employees. The analytical method used is structural equation modeling using the LISREL application. The results showed that psychological capital mediated the effect of perceived organizational support on individual readiness for change and task performance. However, perceived organizational support and individual readiness for change do not have a direct significant effect on task performance.

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dari transformational leadership terhadap task performance dan organizational citizenship behaviors serta melalui peran mediasi work engagement dan organizational identification. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling. Sejumlah 367 pegawai Setjen Kemenkeu berpartisipasi menjadi sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa transformational leadership memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap organizational citizenship behaviors melalui work engagement dan organizational identification, dan terhadap task performance melalui work engagement meskipun hanya mediasi pasial. Namun, transformational leadership tidak memiliki pengaruh tidak langsung terhadap task performance melalui organizational identification, sehingga organizational identification tidak memediasi pengaruh transformational leadership terhadap task performance. Studi ini juga menunjukkan bahwa transformational leadership memiliki pengaruh secara langsung terhadap task performance dan organizational citizenship behaviors pegawai Setjen Kemenkeu, terutama terkait dengan kepedulian terhadap citra organisasi. Maka dari itu, organisasi perlu mendorong para pemimpin level teknis (eselon IV) agar senantiasa menunjukkan karakteristik seorang pemimpin transformasional sehingga para pegawai di bawahnya semakin terdorong untuk mempertahankan instansi ketika instansi lain mengkritiknya, menunjukkan kebanggaan saat mewakili instansi di depan umum, dan mengekspresikan loyalitas terhadap organisasi.

This study aims to determine the direct effect of transformational leadership on task performance and organizational citizenship behaviors as well as through the mediating role of work engagement and organizational identification. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling. A total of 367 employees of the Secretariat General of the Ministry of Finance participated as research samples. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership has an indirect effect on organizational citizenship behaviors through work engagement and organizational identification, and on task performance through work engagement even though it is only partially mediated. However, transformational leadership does not have an indirect effect on task performance through organizational identification, so organizational identification does not mediate the effect of transformational leadership on task performance. This study also shows that transformational leadership has a direct influence on task performance and organizational citizenship behaviors of employees of the General Secretariat of the Ministry of Finance, especially related to concern for organizational image. Therefore, organizations need to encourage technical level leaders (echelon IV) to always show the characteristics of a transformational leader so that employees under them are increasingly motivated to defend the agency when other agencies criticize it, show pride when representing the agency in public, and express loyalty to organization."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperluas pemahaman mengenai peran makna kerja terhadap peningkatan task performance individu. Penelitian terdahulu menunjukkan bahwa korelasi antara makna kerja dan task performance memiliki besaran pengaruh yang bervariasi. Penelitian ini menguji peranan persepsi dukungan atasan sebagai moderator dengan mengacu kepada Job Characteristics Model. Hipotesis penelitian yang diajukan adalah persepsi dukungan atasan memoderasi hubungan makna kerja dan task performance. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan non-eskperimental. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui teknik accidental sampling. Partisipan penelitian berjumlah 251 orang PNS yang berlokasi di Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, dan Bekasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi dukungan atasan memoderasi hubungan makna kerja dengan kinerja. Individu yang memandang pekerjaannya bermakna dan pada saat yang bersamaan mempersepsikan dukungan atasan yang tinggi, memiliki kinerja yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan individu yang memandang pekerjaannya bermakna dan mempersepsikan dukungan atasan yang rendah. Hasil penelitian ini menekankan bahwa pentingnya peningkatan dukungan atasan untuk memperkuat pengaruh makna kerja terhadap task performance. Implikasi praktis yang utama dari hasil ini adalah untuk dapat meningkatkan task performance pada individu yang memandang pekerjaannya bermakna, perlu untuk meningkatkan dukungan atasan baik dari sisi atasan, bawahan, maupun organisasi.

This study has aimed to broaden the understanding of the meaning of work in increasing individual task performance. Previous research has shown that the correlation between the meaning of work and task performance has varying degrees of influence. This study examines the perceived role of supervisor support as a moderator by referring to the Job Characteristics Model. The research hypothesis proposed is that the perception of supervior support moderates the relationship between the meaning of work and task performance. This study uses a quantitative method with a non-experimental approach. Sampling was done through accidental sampling technique. The research participants were 251 civil servants located in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang and Bekasi. The results showed that the perception of supervisor support moderated the relationship between the meaning of work and performance. Individuals who perceive their work as meaningful and at the same time perceive high supervisor support have higher performance than individuals who perceive their work as meaningful and perceive low supervisor support. The results of this study emphasize the importance of increasing supervisors' support to strengthen the effect of work meaning on task performance. The main practical implication of this result is that in order to improve task performance in individuals who see their work as meaningful, it is necessary to increase supervisors' support from the supervisor, subordinate, and organizational sides."

"Tantangan perekonomian Indonesia saat ini semakin kompleks sehingga peran regulator industri keuangan menjadi sangat penting karena kebijakan yang diambil berdampak pada seluruh rakyat dan kredibilitas pemerintah. Dalam melaksanakan peran tersebut diperlukan karyawan yang kompeten sehingga harus dipastikan pengembangan karyawan melalui talent development dilakukan dengan perencanaan dan strategi yang baik. Pelaksanaan talent development dan persepsi keadilan yang dirasakan karyawan dapat mempengaruhi job satisfaction, task performance, dan affective commitment karyawan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh implementasi talent development terhadap job satisfaction, task performance, dan affective commitment dengan distributive justice sebagai mediator dan procedural justice sebagai moderator di Lembaga Regulator Industri Keuangan (LARIK) Indonesia dengan Stuctural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data penelitian didapatkan dari 464 karyawan LARIK dengan kuesioner online. Penelitian menemukan bahwa talent development berpengaruh positif terhadap job satisfaction, task performance, dan affective commitment. Penelitian juga mengungkapkan bahwa distributive justice memediasi parsial pengaruh dimaksud. Hasil lainnya yaitu procedural justice memoderasi hubungan distributive justice terhadap job satisfaction, task performance, dan affective commitment. Selanjutnya, implikasi manajerial dan praktikal dari temuan tersebut didiskusikan.

The challenges of the Indonesian economy are currently increasingly complex, so the role of the financial industry regulator is very important because the policies taken have an effect on all people and the credibility of the government. In carrying out this role, competent employees are needed so it must be ensured that employee development through talent development is carried out with good planning and strategy. The application of talent development and perceptions of employee fairness can effect job satisfaction, task performance, and affective commitment. This research purposes to determine the impact of talent development implementation on job satisfaction, task performance, and employee affective commitment with distributive justice as a mediator and procedural justice as a moderator in the Indonesian Financial Industry Regulatory Institution (LARIK) with structural equation modeling. The research data were obtained from 464 LARIK employees using an online questionnaire. Research has found that talent development has a positive effect on job satisfaction, task performance, and affective commitment. Research also reveals that distributive justice mediates this partial effect. Another result is procedural justice moderating the relationship of distributive justice to job satisfaction, task performance, and affective commitment. Next, the managerial and practical implications of these findings are discussed."

"Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji dampak work autonomy dan workplace spirituality terhadap innovative work behavior dan work engagement untuk selanjutnya menguji dampak dari work engagement terhadap task performance melalui mediasi innovative work behavior. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) untuk memeriksa kecocokan keseluruhan model menguji kausalitas antar konstruk. Sebanyak 716 karyawan Milenial di berbagai industri di Indonesia berpartisipasi menjadi sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa workplace spirituality memiliki efek positif pada innovative work behavior karyawan baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui work engagement. Namun, work autonomy tidak memiliki pengaruh langsung yang signifikan terhadap innovative work behavior, sehingga hanya dapat dipengaruhi secara tidak langsung melalui work engagement. Secara lebih lanjut, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara work engagement dan task performance melalui innovative work behavior baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa work autonomy dan workplace spirituality yang tinggi akan meningkatkan work engagement dan mempromosikan innovative work behavior yang pada akhirnya dapat meningkatkan kinerja tugas karyawan. Implikasi manajerial terkait dengan work autonomy, workplace spiritualtity, work engagement, innovative work behavior dan task performance juga akan dibahas dalam penelitian ini.

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of work autonomy and workplace spirituality on innovative work behavior and work engagement to further consider the impact of work engagement on task performance through mediating innovative work behavior. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to test the overall fitness of model and causality between each construct. A total of 716 Millennial employees in various industries in Indonesia participated as research sample. The results of this study revealed that workplace spirituality had a positive effect on innovative work behavior of employees both directly and indirectly through work engagement. However, work autonomy had no significant direct effect on innovative work behavior. Thus, it can only be affected indirectly through work engagement. Moreover, there was significant effect between work engagement and task performance through innovative work behavior both directly and indirectly. This study indicated that high level of work autonomy and workplace spirituality will improve the level of work engagement and promote innovative work behavior which ultimately enhance task performance of employee. Managerial implications related to work autonomy, workplace spirituality, innovative work behavior, and task performance will also be discussed in this study. "

Kehadiran orang lain diyakini mempengaruhi kinerja tugas individu, terutama orang-orang yang gelisah.
Sebagian besar penelitian hanya berfokus pada kecemasan sebagai sifat kepribadian, tetapi penelitian tentang
keadaan mencemaskan masih terbatas. Eksperimen ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh social facilitation dan
keadaan mencemaskan terhadap kinerja tugas. Sebanyak 40 siswa berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini dan desain
antar kelompok 2x2 diimplementasikan. Peserta diminta untuk melakukan soal matematika sederhana di dalam
kondisi penonton dan kecemasan yang berbeda. Dihipotesiskan bahwa peserta dalam kondisi penonton akan
mendapatkan lebih banyak jawaban benar daripada peserta dalam kondisi tanpa penonton. Diprediksikan juga
bahwa peserta dalam keadaan cemas akan mendapatkan lebih sedikit jawaban benar dibandingkan peserta dalam
kondisi tanpa kecemasan. Selain itu, peserta dalam kondisi penonton dan tanpa kecemasan diprekdisikan akan
tampil lebih baik daripada kondisi penonton dengan kecemasan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada
efek signifikan dari kehadiran orang lain dalam keadaan kecemasan. Para peneliti menyarankan untuk
menggunakan manipulasi kecemasan yang lebih baik dan tugas individu yang lebih tepat.

ABSTRACT
The presence of others is believed to influence an individuals task performance, particularly anxious people.
Most studies have only focused on anxiety as a personality trait, but research on anxiety as a state is limited.
This experiment aims to examine the effect of social facilitation and anxiety states on task performance. A total
of 40 UQ students participated in the study and a 2x2 between-subjects design was implemented. Participants
were asked to perform simple mathematical equations under different conditions of audience and anxiety. It was
hypothesised that participants in audience conditions would score more correct answers than participants in
no-audience conditions. It was also predicted that participants in an anxious state would score less correct
answers than participants in no-anxiety conditions. Additionally, audience-no-anxiety conditions would perform
better than audience-anxiety conditions. Results revealed that there was no significant effect of presence of others of state of anxiety. The experimenters suggest better manipulation of anxiety and a more appropriate task
should be used.

"Efek audiens menyatakan bahwa kinerja seseorang mungkin dipengaruhi oleh kehadiran orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hipotesa bahwa individu lebih canggung tampil dalam kondisi outgroup (orang yang tidak dikenal) dan akan kurang canggung dalam kondisi di dalam kelompok yang dikenal. Penelitian ini berfokus pada aspek model evaluation apprehension dari efek audiens. Penelitian ini memiliki hipotesis bahwa peserta dalam kondisi ingroup akan menunjukan performa yang lebih baik dibandingkan saat bersama orang yang tidak dikenal, kondisi sendirian akan berkinerja lebih baik daripada kondisi bersama orang yang tidak dikenal, dan kondisi sendirian akan menunjukan performa lebih buruk daripada kondisi di dalam kelompok. tiga puluh peserta yang bersedia mengikuti penelitian ini dibagi dalam tiga kelompok eksperimen (masing-masing N=10) dengan kondisi yang berbeda (bekerja sendiri, bersama orang asing, bersama ingroup). Peserta dari setiap kelompok diminta untuk mengerjakan tugas pencarian kata dalam batas waktu yang ditentukan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa tidak ada pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kinerja seorang individu di tiga kondisi.

Audience effects state that an individual's performance might be affected by the presence of another. This study aims to confirm a study which focuses on how individuals were more embarrassed performing in an outgroup condition and would be less embarrassed in an ingroup condition. This study focuses on evaluation apprehension model aspect of audience effect. This study’s hypotheses that participants in ingroup condition will perform better than the stranger condition, the alone condition will perform better than the stranger condition, and alone condition will perform worse than the ingroup condition. Thirty participants were chosen to be in the experiment, where they were divided into groups of 10 across conditions (alone, ingroup, and stranger), and asked to perform a word search task within a time limit. The result showed no significant effect on performance across three conditions. In conclusion, the results did not support the hypotheses."
