"Penelitian ini membahas fungsi apelatif teks yang terdapat pada naskah pidato Kanselir Jerman Angela Merkel tanggal 18 Maret 2020 yang bertemakan pandemi Covid-19 di negara Jerman. Penelitian ini menggunakan landasan teori fungsi apelatif teks dari Klaus Brinker. Teori tersebut digunakan untuk mengklasifikasi indikator-indikator gramatik dalam data yang mengandung fungsi apelatif. Penelitian ini meninjau struktur-struktur kalimat pada naskah pidato Kanselir Angela Merkel yang memiliki indikator gramatik fungsi apelatif. Pembahasan dilakukan melalui pendekatan sintaksis, yakni menganalisis tiap kata dalam kalimat yang menjalani fungsi apelatif sesuai dengan kelas kata dan fungsi sintaksisnya. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 11 dari 17 kalimat yang dianalisis memiliki pola indikator gramatik Modalverben+infinitif sebagai upaya untuk menyampaikan imbauan atau perintah kepada penerima. Selain itu, Angela Merkel juga menggunakan pronomina orang pertama majemuk atau wir dan uns dalam menyampaikan pesannya. Penggunaan pronomina tersebut dipilih sebagai bentuk solidaritas antara penerima dan pengirim pesan karena menempatkan pengirim pesan sebagai salah satu dari komunitas yang ia tuju.

This study discusses the appellative text function contained in the speech transcript of German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, on March 18th 2020 with the theme of Covid-19 pandemic in Germany. This study uses the theoretical basis of the text function theory from Klaus Brinker. The theory is used to classify grammatical indicators in the data that contain an appellative function. This study examines the sentence structures in Chancellor Angela Merkel's speech which has a grammatical indicator of an appellative function. The data were examined through a syntactic approach, which is to analyze each word in a sentence that has appellative function according to the word class and syntactic function. The results of this study indicate that 11 of the 17 sentences analyzed have a Modal verb+infinitive grammatical pattern as an attempt to convey an order to the recipient. In addition, Angela Merkel also uses plural first-person pronouns such as “wir” and “uns” in conveying her message. The use of those pronouns is chosen as a form of solidarity between the recipient and the sender of the message because it places the sender of the message as one of the communities she is targeting."

"Skripsi ini membahas keterbacaan dalam kaitannya dengan linguistik, khususnya ranah sintaksis. Teks soal ujian nasional mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia tahun 2010-2012 digunakan sebagai korpus data dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat keterbacaan teks soal ujian nasional Bahasa Indonesia terhadap siswa dan faktor-faktor yang dapat memengaruhi tingkat keterbacaan dilihat dari kelas kata dan kalimatnya. Teori klasifikasi kelas kata, frase, dan kalimat digunakan untuk tercapainya tujuan penelitian. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa faktor yang memengaruhi rendahnya keterbacaan dilihat dari kelas kata adalah ketidaklogisan kata, pemahaman makna denotatif dan konotatif, dan penempatan konjungsi yang kurang tepat. Jika dilihat dari kalimat, rendahnya keterbacaan dipengaruhi adanya kosakata yang jarang digunakan masa sekarang dan munculnya istilah ilmiah.

This thesis discusses about the readability in relation to linguistics, especially in syntactic domains. National Exam texts of Indonesian subjects year 2010-2012 are used as the data corpuses in this study. This study aims to determine the level of text readability in National Exam texts of Indonesian subjects to students and factors that can affect the readability level views of word category and sentences. Class classification theory of words, phrases, and sentences are used to achieve the research objectives.

Results of this study found that the factors that affect readability seen from the low-class word in the incoherence of words, the understanding of denotative and connotative meanings, and also less precise conjunctions placement. As being viewed from the sentences, the low readability level is influenced by the vocabulary choices which are rarely used nowadays, and the emergence of scientific terms."

"[ ABSTRAK Pada dialog dalam film dapat ditemukan peristiwa tutur dan tindak tutur. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmendeskripsikan wujud tindak tutur direktif dua guru yang berbeda usia dalam film Brammetje Baas. Metodeyang digunakan adalah dekripstif kualitatif. Dari penelitian ini ditemukan perbedaan ragam bahasa guru yangberbeda usia yakni tua dan muda. Guru yang lebih tua cenderung menggunakan tindak tutur direktif dengankalimat perintah dan sebaliknya guru muda menggunakan bahasa yang lebih akrab yakni tindak tutur direktifmemberi perintah dengan kalimat pernyataan. Guru muda pun menggunakan tindak tutur direktif memohonkepada muridnya untuk meminta maaf pada guru tua.
