"Contemporary library managers face the need to make difficult choices regarding resource allocation in the modern business environment. How libraries make tough choices in difficult times is a practical guide for library managers, offering techniques to analyze existing and potential services, implement best practices for maximizing existing resources, and utilize pressing financial scenarios in order to justify making difficult reallocation decisions. The book begins by asking the fundamental questions of why, what, and how, moving on to look at how to manage expectations and report to both administration and faculty. The book then considers the four ?D?s of Do, Delegate, Delay and Drop, before covering project management, and how to understand the mission and objectives of your organisation. The book then focuses on: service quality improvement analyses, identifying underlying issues, reviewing resources; identifying best practice, managing feedback and expectations, and looking at decision making skills and implications."

"Road Funds, financed from user charges; have been practiced in many countries in securing more
reliable funding for rock The idea of an of budget source of funding is appealing. But they are most
effective where they form part of a broader strategy to manage roads in a more business-like way on a
fee-for-service basis: the link between user charges - tariffs for road use ~ and road expenditures,
reinforced by user participation in their oversight creates a sense of ownership and puts pressure on
road agencies for greater transparency, accountability, and efficiency. This is in tune with Indonesia 's
moves towards better governance and democratic accountability under decentralization. This paper
discusses the paradigm shifts that are now taking place and considers them as the rationales behind the
attempt to establish a road fund in Indonesia.

"ABSTRACT
Infective endocarditis (IE) is associated with high mortality and morbidity and requires surgical intervention in about half of all patients. Mitral valve repair (MVrep) is reported to achieve better results than mitral valve replacement because the insertion of a prosthesis during active infection is avoided. However, MVrep in active IE is complicated and no definitive guidelines have been compiled. The current study reviews the literature from 2000 to 2016 and summarizes the surgical details of MVrep for IE."

Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) become one of national economic growth supports in many countries. But then in its development, it faces obstacles in improving its performance due to limited access to formal financial institutions and inadiquate supply of infrastructure that limit its access to market. This study intends to determine whether access to finance and access to market affect the growth of SME. Using the Podes 2011 data, this study proves that the more the number of financial institutions, easier financial institutions to be accessed, and existence of credit facility can promote the growth of SME. Moreover, connectivity factor also contribute to the growth of SME by improving SME?s acces to market.
