"Langkah privatisasi yang dilakukan sejak zaman Deng Xiaoping membuat ekonomi China terus bertumbuh dengan pesat. Pertumbuhan ekonomi tersebut pun semakin berkembang pesat saat akhir 1990-an ketika internet mulai menjadi konsumsi publik. Dari perkembangan internet tersebut, muncullah Alibaba Group sebagai e-commerce B2B yang menjalankan bisnis melalui skema platformisasi. Model bisnis tersebut pun terbukti berhasil dan mengantarkan Alibaba Group sebagai raksasa bisnis di China. Dengan akumulasi kapital yang diperoleh, keberadaan Alibaba Group tidak lepas dari perhatian Pemerintah China. Kedua belah pihak memiliki hubungan yang baik sejak awal Alibaba Group berdiri pada tahun 1999 hingga tercatat telah melakukan berbagai kerjasama pada tahun 2019. Namun, hubungan baik tersebut pun pecah pada tahun 2020 ketika Alibaba Group dikenakan denda oleh Pemerintah China dikarenakan ekspansi anak perusahaannya yang bergerak di bidang finansial dan e-commerce menyalahi regulasi Pemerintah China. Menggunakan pisau analisis tipologi strategi manajemen politik, penelitian ini berupaya untuk menjelaskan kegagalan Alibaba Group dalam menjaga hubungannya dengan pemerintah China. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa ketidaksesuaian pemilihan strategi politik yang diterapkan Alibaba Group menyebabkan respons negatif dari Pemerintah China sehingga mereka mendapatkan denda.

Privatization taken since Deng Xiaoping era has made China’s economy grow rapidly. This economic growth accelerated in the late 1990s when the internet began to become public consumption. The Internet development led to the born of Alibaba Group with its first B2B e-commerce platform. The platform business model proved successful and made Alibaba Group become a giant in the Chinese platform economy. With the huge amount of capital gained, Alibaba Group cannot get out of the government's sight. Both parties had a good relationship since Alibaba Group was established in 2019 with various collaborations between the two. However, the good relationship ended in 2020 when Alibaba Group was fined by the government due to regulatory violations in the finance and e-commerce sector. Using the political management strategy typology, this study aims to explain the failure of Alibaba Group to maintain its relationship with the government. The analysis found that the incorrect type of political strategy chosen by Alibaba Group made a negative response from the government. The negative response eventually led to the imposition of fines on the Alibaba Group."

"Tesis ini mengkaji mengenai perkembangan bisnis perang di Amerika Serikat, dengan studi kasus pemanfaatan korporasi militer swasta Blackwater. kajian ini dilakukan untuk mendeskripsikan bisnis perang, ideology yang melatarbelakangi hingga kepada pemanfaatan korporasi militer swasta sebagai permasalahan utama untuk dikaji yang dikaji dengan menggunakan teori neoliberalisme. Penulis menggunakan data dari buku, jurnal, dan sumber-sumber lain yang mendukung yang sesuai dengan konteks. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan korporasi militer swasta dalam kasus ini Blackwater merupakan entitas dari market, yang lahir dari ideology neoliberalisme. Oleh sebab itu, ada hubungan antara ideology, market, dan korporasi militer swasta.

This thesis analyzes the development of the American warfare business, focusing on the case study of the utilization of the Blackwater private military corporation. This analysis is conducted through the description of the warfare business. The ideology that establishes the background of the utilization of the private military corporation is the main focus of this which is analyzed by using the Neo-liberalism theory. The writer uses data from books, journals, and other supporting source materials of relevant context. This research illustrates that the utilization of the private military corporation, in this case Blackwater, is a part of the market which is a product of the neoliberal ideology. Therefore, there is a connection between ideology, market, and private military corporations."

"Pasca reformasi 1998, terjadi pertambahan jumlah partai politik yang signifikan di Indonesia, diikuti juga dengan pertambahan jumlah gerakan underbow nya. Termasuk disini Kelompok Pergerakan Mahasiswa UI yang meliputi ; Kelompok Tarbiyah, Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam, dan Pergerakan Mahasiswa Islam Indonesia, yang cukup dominan. Tahun 2012, terjadi fenomena calon tunggal dalam Pemira IKM UI 2012 yang mengindikasikan terjadinya dominasi oleh salah satu kelompok dalam persaingan politik yang terjadi. Penelitian ini membahas perubahan teritorial persaingan politik antar kelompok pergerakan mahasiswa di UI yang terjadi pada Tahun 2012. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan territoality (upaya menguasai wilayah) dan teritorial yang meliputi Heartland (Wilayah jantung pergerakan) dan Rimland (Wilayah gerak pergerakan) tiap-tiap kelompok. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif dengan analisis isi, meaning, dan life history dari perspektif spasial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teritorial persaingan politik didominasi oleh kelompok yang berhasil memiliki territoality lebih besar sehingga mampu menguasai teritorial heartland dan rimland lebih luas. Territoality lebih besar dapat dicapai dengan menguasai organisasi intra kampus. Teritorial persaingan politik terkuat berada di wilayah yang heartland antar kelompoknya berada di area yang sama, hal ini terjadi di wilayah Fakultas Hukum (FH). Pemira 2012 menghasilkan fakta bahwa kemenangannya masih didominasi oleh salah satu kelompok sehingga membuat perubahan teritorial persaingan yang terjadi tergolong rendah. Hal ini berdampak terhadap dua kelompok lainnya yang mengalami stagnasi sehingga menyebabkan pola keruangan heartland-rimland mereka tidak berubah sama sekali.

After The Reform of 1998, there was added a significant number of political parties in Indonesia, followed by the increase of its underbow movement. Included here, Group of UI Student Movement; Tarbiyah Group, The Muslim Students Association, and The Indonesian Islamic Students Movement, which is quite dominant. In 2012, there was a phenomenon of single candidates in The Student Election of UI in 2012, which indicates domination by one group in a political competition going on. This study discusses the territotial change of political competition among a group of UI students movement that occurred in 2012. By using the approach territoality (effort control of the territory) and territories that include Heartland (area of main movement) and Rimland (regional motion movement) of each group. This study use qualitative method whose content, meaning, and life history analysis with a spatial perspective. The results showed that the territorial of political competition is dominated by the groups which have a greater territoality so as to master the wider territorial heartland and rimland. Greater territoality can be achieved with master intra-campus organization. The territorial of strongest political competition is located in region whose each of group's heartland areas are in the same area, this is the case in the Faculty of Law (FH). UI Student Election 2012 resulted in the fact that the victory is still dominated by one group, it makes the territotial change of political competition is going low. This has implications for the other two groups that have stagnated, causing spatial patterns of their heartland-Rimland have not changed at all."
