"Malaysia is currently focusing on providing affordable housing all over the country as part of the plan to tackle the problem of rising costs of house ownership due to several reasons such as economic crisis and land limitations. However, there is a limited number of methodical study made on the residents’ feedback towards the indoor environment of an affordable housing. Indoor environmental quality (IEQ) is an important aspect of occupants’ wellbeing as it will affect their health and productivity. Thus, it is a paramount step in evaluating the residents’ feedback towards IEQ to serve as an indicator of building performance and condition. Additionally, the health and productivity of the residents should be evaluated in order to identify the effect of IEQ towards the occupants. The questionnaire survey is used in order to achieve the objectives and to gain the access to the respondents’ views and feedbacks. The pilot questionnaire study was conducted at two apartments in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the data collected were evaluated and analyzed using the SPSS Software. The outcome of this pilot study is significant as it shows the residents dissatisfaction level towards IEQ factors such as noise, glare, and privacy, and the aspects of IEQ that are important such as ventilation. Additionally, it has been found that the IEQ of the residents does affect the health and productivity of the occupants. It is anticipated that the outcome of this study will serve as an indicator of building performance improvements to achieve a better quality of the indoor environment for affordable housing in Malaysia."

"ABSTRAK
Share house adalah bentuk perumahan yang pada awalnya didesain untuk memberikan opsi tempat tinggal sementara dengan harga sewa yang murah dan terbuka bagi siapa saja. Namun, dalam tren share house yang berkembang tahun 2010-an terdapat share house bertema dan social apartment/social residence yang memiliki karakteristik berbeda dengan share house pada umumnya. Skripsi ini membahas perubahan yang dibawa oleh tren tersebut dan kaitannya dengan pertumbuhan populasi ohitorisama. Analisis penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat tiga unsur dinamika populasi ohitorisama yang berpengaruh terhadap tren share house tahun 2010-an, yaitu peningkatan usia dan pendapatan rata-rata serta kurangnya social support yang dimiliki sebagian besar ohitorisama.

ABSTRACT
Share house is a type of accommodation designed to provide affordable housing for anyone. However, the types of share houses trending in 2010s are having different characteristics to its original. This thesis discusses the changes brought by the trend and its correlation to the growing population of ohitorisama. The analysis of this study concludes that there are three components of ohitorisama rsquo s population dynamics which affect the trend of share house in 2010s. Those components are the increase of average age, increase of average income and the lack of social support of most of ohitorisama."

"ABSTRAK
Penghuni di hunian vertikal perkotaan lebih rentan mengalami Building Related Illness karena sistem tata udara Air Conditioning (AC) yang mengalami penyusutan mutu. Ini menyebabkan Kualitas Udara Dalam Ruang (KUDR) di unit hunian perkotaan cenderung lebih buruk daripada hunian horisontal di Jakarta. Tujuan penelitian ini menyusun model dimensi manusia penghuni dan pengelola dengan pengetahuan, persepsi, dan partisipasi untuk mencapai hunian vertikal perkotaan yang sehat dan berkelanjutan dengan KUDR. Metode riset yang digunakan ialah korelasional multivariat dengan analisis PLS-SEM (Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model) dan mengaplikasikan model dengan ANN-SOM (Artificial Neural Network-Self Organizing Map). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kesatuan dimensi penghuni dan dimensi pengelola yang efektif untuk KUDR adalah dengan konstruk dimensi pengelola sebagai variabel penekan kepada dimensi penghuni yang mempengaruhi KUDR. Kompetensi pengelola sangat mempengaruhi penghuni untuk mengupayakan KUDR dan mendorong perubahan perilaku sehat di hunian vertikal perkotaan. Keselarasan dalam pengetahuan, persepsi, dan partisipasi. Pemenuhan kenyamanan fisik dan psikis penghuni oleh pengelola mempengaruhi perilaku partisipasi dalam kesehatan dan menggerakkan keberlanjutan hunian perkotaan.

ABSTRACT
Residents in urban vertical housing are more susceptible to Building Related Illness due to the depreciation of air conditioning (AC) systems, causing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) in urban residential units is worse than in horizontal housing in Jakarta. The purpose of this study is to develop a model of the human dimensions of the residents and the managers with knowledge, perception, and participation to achieve the healthy and sustainable urban vertical housing with the IAQ. The research method is a multivariate correlation, analyze with Partial Least Square-Structural Equation model (PLS-SEM) and application to the model with Artificial Neural Network-Self Organizing Map(ANN-SOM). The result of the study shows the unity of the resident and manager dimensions is effective with the construct of the manager dimensions as the suppressing variable of the resident dimensions that influence IAQ. The manager competency significantly affects the residents to strive for IAQ and encourage healthy behavioral changes in urban vertical housing. The conformity of knowledge, perception, and participation then the fulfillment of the physical and psychological comfort for the residents by the managers influences the behavior of participants in health and drives the sustainability of urban housings.

"This paper presents a study of sustainable rating systems for sustainable housing that have been developed by various countries around the world. The objective of this study is to develop a
framework for a rating system for housing development by taking into account local requirements. There are numerous sustainable rating systems for buildings and groups of buildings that have been developed and rating tools like Comprehensive Assessment System for
Building Environmental Efficiency (CASBEE), Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), British Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM), Green Building (GB) Tool and Green Star influential in the development of other
rating systems. Malaysia has recently launched a rating system for buildings called the Green Building Index (GBI). However, Malaysia has
yet to introduce a rating system for measuring sustainable practices in housing development. Hence, this paper reviews some available tools
related to the rating of housing developments for the purpose of developing one for Malaysia. Important factors for developing a tool for measuring sustainability practices should include
sustainability criteria that relates to the environment, society, economics, site/land use, communication, and transportation. An index for measuring sustainability in housing development will be developed to suit the local context. The formulated index will take into consideration the parameters in sustainable housing developed by various systems around the world. The index, called A Comprehensive Assessment System for Sustainable Housing (CASSH), will be available for further testing. "

"Perbaikan sarana dan prasarana logistik telah meningkatkan volume transportasi perdagangan dunia. Di sisi lain, peningkatan aktivitas transportasi perdagangan berpotensi mengurangi kualitas lingkungan melalui emisi yang ditimbulkannya. Oleh sebab itu penelitian ini menganalisis hubungan kinerja logistik dengan kualitas lingkungan yang didekati dengan menggunakan ecological footprint. Studi ini menggunakan ecological footprint sebagai variabel dependen mewakili keberlanjutan lingkungan yang mengukur eksploitasi manusia terhadap sumber daya alam secara komprehensif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data dari 17 negara anggota APEC selama periode 2010-2022. Hasil regresi data panel dengan fixed effect model menunjukkan bahwa Logistic Performance Index (LPI) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap ecological footprint. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi kebijakan pembangunan berkelanjutan. Upaya untuk mengurangi dampak lingkungan seharusnya difokuskan pada peningkatan kinerja logistik secara berkelanjutan yang memitigasi dampaknya pada pertumbuhan ekonomi yang tidak ramah lingkungan.

Improvements in logistics facilities and infrastructure have increased the volume of world trade transportation. On the other hand, increased trade transportation activities may have the potential to reduce environmental quality through emissions. Therefore, this study analyzes the relationship between logistics performance and environmental quality, which is approached by using the ecological footprint. This study proposes the use of ecological footprint as a dependent variable of environmental sustainability which, comprehensively measures human exploitation on natural resources. This study analyzes data from 17 APEC member economies over the period 2010-2022. The results of panel data regression with fixed effect model show that Logistic Performance Index (LPI) has a positive and significant effect on ecological footprint. These findings have important implications for sustainable development policy. Efforts to reduce environmental impact should focus on improving logistics performance in a sustainable manner that mitigates its impact to environmentally unfriendly economic growth."

"Kualitas udara di dalam ruangan perlu diperhatikan karena banyak pekerjaan yang dilakukan di dalam ruangan dan kualitas udara yang buruk akan memicu adanya penyakit dan menurunkan kinerja pekerja. Penelitian dilakukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas udara di dalam ruangan yang ditinjau berdasarkan konsentrasi bakteri dan jamur yang terdapat pada ruang uji coba. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengaruh konsentrasi bakteri dan jamur, menganalisis air purifier dan sistem ventilasi terhadap kualitas udara, dan menganalisis korelasi antara konsentrasi bakteri dan jamur dengan suhu ruangan, kelembapan, dan intensitas cahaya di ruang uji coba. Penelitian dilakukan dengan cara mengambil sampel udara dengan metode impaction menggunakan alat EMS E6 Bioaerosol Sampler selama 3 menit di pagi hari dan siang hari pada masing-masing ruang uji coba dengan debit pompa sebesar 28,3 L/menit. Pengambilan sampel pada konsentrasi bakteri dan jamur menggunakan media pertumbuhan Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) untuk bakteri yang diinkubasi selama 24 jam dan Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) untuk jamur yang diinkubasi selama 48 jam. Ruang uji coba memiliki jenis ruangan yang berbeda, yaitu ruang rapat, laboratorium, dan mushola. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi bakteri tertinggi yaitu ruang Mushola Dosen sebesar 1943 CFU/m3 dan terendah yaitu ruang tengah lantai 1 sebesar 71 CFU/m3. Konsentrasi jamur tertinggi yaitu ruang Mushola Dosen sebesar 883 CFU/m3 dan terendah yaitu 188 CFU/m3. Parameter pendukung lain yaitu suhu ruangan (24,3–30,5?) sudah memenuhi kriteria yang telah ditetapkan Permenaker Nomor 5 Tahun 2018, terdapat beberapa ruangan yang tidak memenuhi kelembapan (54,6–82,6%) dan intensitas cahaya untuk tiap ruangan (5,3–261 Lux) telah sesuai dengan kriteria masing-masing jenis ruang kerja. Uji korelasi yang dilakukan yaitu Uji Spearman yang menunjukkan bahwa data tidak terdistribusi normal. Terdapat korelasi positif antara pertumbuhan bakteri dengan suhu ruangan dan intensitas cahaya serta jamur dengan kelembapan. Korelasi negatif didapatkan pada pertumbuhan bakteri dengan kelembapan dan jamur dengan intensitas cahaya.

Indoor air quality needs to be taken into consideration because many tasks are performed indoors, and poor air quality can lead to illness and decrease workers' performance. The research was conducted to improve indoor air quality based on the concentration of bacteria and fungi present in the test rooms. The objectives of this study were to analyze the influence of bacteria and fungi concentrations, assess the effectiveness of air purifiers and ventilation systems on air quality, and examine the correlation between bacteria and fungi concentrations with room temperature, humidity, and light intensity in the test rooms. The research was conducted by sampling air using the impaction method with an EMS E6 Bioaerosol Sampler for 3 minutes in the morning and afternoon in each test room, with a pump flow rate of 28.3 L/minute. Bacterial and fungal samples were collected using Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA) growth medium for bacteria, which were incubated for 24 hours, and Potato Dextrose Agar (PDA) for fungi, which were incubated for 48 hours. The test rooms consisted of different types of rooms, including meeting rooms, laboratories, and prayer rooms. The results of the study showed that the highest concentration of bacteria was found in the Lecturers' Prayer Room at 1943 CFU/m3, while the lowest was in the central room on the first floor at 71 CFU/m3. The highest concentration of fungi was found in the Lecturers' Prayer Room at 883 CFU/m3, while the lowest was at 188 CFU/m3. Other supporting parameters such as room temperature (24.3–30.5°C) met the criteria set by the Ministry of Manpower Regulation No. 5 of 2018. However, some rooms did not meet the humidity requirements (54.6–82.6%), and the light intensity in each room (5.3–261 Lux) complied with the respective workspace criteria. The correlation analysis, using Spearman’s test, indicated that the data was not normally distributed. There was a positive correlation between bacterial growth with room temperature and light intensity, and between fungal growth with humidity. Negative correlations were observed between bacterial growth with humidity and fungal growth with light intensity."

"Pertumbuhan penduduk di Indonesia senantiasa diikuti oleh peningkatan kebutuhan hunian. Permasalahan yang timbul adalah adanya gap antara indeks Green Neighborhood untuk kawasan perumahan dengan kondisi riil perumahan bersubsidi, sehingga integrasi antara Affordable Housing dengan konsep keberlanjutan khususnya untuk kawasan perumahan bersubsidi dalam kerangka indeks Green Neighborhood menjadi tantangan utama. Riset ini bertujuan untuk merumuskan indeks Green Neighborhood pada perumahan bersubsidi. Metode riset menggunakan analisis spasial, site analysis, scoring/penilaian indeks, wawancara dan wawancara mendalam. Penilaian menggunakan variabel dalam Definisi Operasional Variabel memperoleh poin 16 dengan tingkat penilaian Kurang Baik. Besarnya prosentase perbandingan variabel dari aspek ekonomi 3,31%, aspek sosial 22,55% dan aspek lingkungan 68,14%. Rumusan indeks Green Neighborhood khusus untuk perumahan bersubsidi variabel aspek lingkungan: Ekologi Lahan, Pergerakan dan Konektivitas, Manajemen Air dan Konservasi, Limbah Padat dan Material. Variabel pada aspek sosial: Fasilitas Sosial Komunitas, Kesejahteraan Sosial Komunitas. Variabel pada aspek ekonomi: Keterjangkauan Harga, Kesejahteraan Ekonomi Masyarakat, Inovasi dan Pengembangan.

Population growth in Indonesia has always been followed by an increase in the need for housing. The problem that arises is that there is a gap between the Green Neighborhood index for housing areas and the real conditions of subsidized housing, so that the integration between Affordable Housing and the concept of sustainability, especially for subsidized housing areas within the framework of the Green Neighborhood index, is a major challenge. This research aims to formulate a Green Neighborhood index on subsidized housing. The research method uses spatial analysis, site analysis, scoring / index assessment, interviews and in-depth interviews. The assessment using variables in the Variable Operational Definition gets 16 points with a Poor rating level. The magnitude of the percentage comparison of variables from economic aspects is 3.31%, social aspects are 22.55% and environmental aspects are 68.14%. Green Neighborhood index formulation specifically for subsidized housing with variable environmental aspects: Land Ecology, Movement and Connectivity, Water Management and Conservation, Solid Waste and Materials. Variables in social aspects: Community Social Facilities, Community Social Welfare. Variables in economic aspects: Affordability, Community Economic Welfare, Innovation and Development."

"Capaian kualitas lingkungan hidup Indonesia selama beberapa tahun terakhir menunjukkan tren yang fluktuatif. Di saat yang bersamaan, capaian kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia justru menunjukkan peningkatan yang cukup konstan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara kualitas lingkungan hidup dengan kualitas sumber daya manusia Indonesia melalui IKLH dan IPM. Data yang digunakan oleh penelitian ini bersumber dari BPS dan Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan untuk 33 provinsi di Indonesia pada periode tahun 2015 - 2019. Penelitian ini menggunakan Random Effect Model sebagai model estimasinya. Berdasarkan model tersebut, didapati hasil bahwa hubungan antara kualitas sumber daya manusia dan kualitas lingkungan hidup tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara statistik.

Environmental quality in Indonesia over the past few years has shown a fluctuating trend. At the same time, the quality of human capital in Indonesia have shown a fairly constant increase. This study aims to determine the relationship between environmental quality and human capital through IKLH and IPM. The data used in this study were sourced from BPS and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry for 33 provinces in Indonesia in the period 2015 - 2019. This research uses the Random Effect Model as its estimation model. Based on this model, the results show that the relationship between environmental quality and human capital has no significant effect."
