There are still many gay people with HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) who still do not disclose themselves, even though this is beneficial, especially in reducing the pressure on themselves. The purpose of this study is to look at self-disclosure in gay-oriented people with HIV and its benefits for them, especially in HIV-related prevention behavior. This research is qualitative research with a case study design and uses the Disclosure Process Model theoretical framework (Chaudoir, 2011). There were 5 informants in this study, researchers also examined the socio-economic status of each informant. The results of the study found that, the process of self-disclosure in informants is not easy, informants also argue that disclosure of ODHIV status is more sensitive than sexual orientation, this is because ODHIV still has a high stigma in society, especially related to transmission, the majority of informants are more comfortable disclosing themselves to companions, partners, or other peers compared to family, because they are afraid of ostracism or even making their families disappointed. Social support affects self-disclosure, especially family support, because when the family accepts their situation, informants feel more able to express themselves. Researchers also found that socioeconomics plays a role in self-disclosure, especially the socioeconomics of parents. NGO X needs to strengthen the bonding process when conducting outreach."

Background: >HIV prevention efforts in serodiscordant and seroconcordant couples are associated with behaviors that focus on individual views and beliefs. The results of a study of HIV transmission in partners found that 25% was transmitted by HIV positive partners. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of HIV prevention behavior in serodiscordant and seroconordant couples at the Grapiks foundation in Bekasi. Method This study uses a case study design with a qualitative approach. The method used is in-depth interviews via call: The results showed that HIV prevention behaviors in serodiscordant couples were, for the most part inconsistent in using condoms but compliant in taking ARV drugs, whereas all serokonkordan couples consistently use condoms and adhere to ARV drugs. All ODHA have revealed their status to their partners. But not all revealed to his family. All couples have pretty good knowledge such as transmission, prevention and treatment factors. However, it is not good about the mutation of the virus due to if not using a condom for seroconcordant couples. The pattern of husband and wife relations in serodiscordant couples is head complement (the wife works at home and the final decision remains on the husband), while the seroconcordant pair is the head complement and senior junior partner (the wife can contribute to the economy and the wife's decision can influence). Serodiscordant couples are aware of the risk of HIV transmission but are willing to accept consequences such as happiness, death, and family life, while seroconcordant couples are aware of the risk of transmission and hope that it is not severe, the consequences of which are family life, shame and pain. Serodiscordant pairs have lower benefits than seroncordant couples. Serodiscordant pairs have a higher resistance than seroconcordant pairs. All couples received in-depth information about HIV / AIDS from health workers through consultations and NGOs, namely peer support groups and study clubs conducted in the form of counseling. There are differences in HIV prevention behavior in serodiscordant couples and seroconcordant couples in the Bekasi Grapiks Foundation in 2020

The results of the 2018 Integrated Biological and Behavioral Survey (IBBS) show that many men who have sex with men (MSM) do not know their HIV status. This indicates that there are still many MSM who have not screened for STIs and HIV. Until 2019, DKI Jakarta Province occupied the second highest position for the number of HIV infections in Indonesia. The aim of this study was to describe the behavior of STI and HIV screening in MSM in the target area of Yayasan X in Jakarta based on the theory of the Health Belief Model. This study used a qualitative approach with the research design being the rapid assessment procedure (RAP) because it wanted to explore quickly and in depth the description of STI screening behavior in MSM in Jakarta. This study uses primary data with data collection methods through in-depth interviews with key informants and key informants. The results showed that MSM who had screened for STIs and HIV conducted screening at least once a year, but most still did not routinely screen for STIs and HIV once every three months. Most MSM stated that the cues for action that drive STI and HIV screening behavior were the signs and symptoms experienced by MSM. MSM awareness to screen for STIs and HIV before signs and symptoms appear is still lacking. Perceptions of vulnerability to the high risk of contracting STIs and HIV to the perceived good benefits experienced by MSM are still not able to encourage MSM to have their STI and HIV status checked routinely. Therefore, it is hoped that STI and HIV screening service providers such as sub-district health centers, clinics, NGOs, and the general public can work together to increase the scope of STI and HIV screening for MSM in DKI Jakarta."
