"The infrastructure of the transportation system plays an important and strategic part in the development of a country and serves to support economic progress by enabling the mobility of citizens and the distribution of goods from one region to another. However, communities have unequal access to the system and there are gaps in the regional infrastructure in Indonesia, leading to the requirement for a mapping of all 33 provincial capitals. In this study, we reviewed provisions for road, sea, air, and rail travel. The mapping result is expected to determine the pattern and the prioritization needed for future infrastructure development. A literature review was performed to establish assessment indicators for the mapping. The weighting of each indicator was based on a survey of stakeholders in transportation sectors, which was then analyzed using the Analytical Hierarchy Process. After weighting was completed, the infrastructure of each provincial capital was assessed to determine ratings from the highest to the lowest rank. Jakarta, Medan, Bandung, Surabaya, and Semarang obtained the highest rankings, while Manokwari, Serang, Mamuju, Ternate, and Palangkaraya were at the bottom. This result shows that provincial capitals in western Indonesia had better assessment results than those in the east. Therefore, improvements to the transportation infrastructure of the latter cities should be prioritized."

Infrastructure is one of the definitions of supporting development. The transportation system is an important and strategic part of the development of economic progress of a country because it will support the mobility of people and to distribute goods from one place to another. However, There are the existence of inequality in access and gap in the sector of transportation infrastructure in Indonesia. Hence, the need for mapping of transportation infrastructure in the Capital of Provinces in Indonesia is expected to determine the pattern of development and improvement of future transportation infrastructure?s development.
Reasearch methodology for this research are study of literature to establish the indicators of mapping transport infrastructure in Indonesia and spread of 30 quetioners on the related stakeholders to get weight for each indicator with manual counting of AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process). After weighting of each indicator, the next step is scoring the transport infrastructure components at 33 Capital of Provinces in Indonesia to get the results of mapping transportation infrastructure from the highest to lowest score.
The results on this reaseach are in quadrant I, the city of Jakarta in the first position, followed by the city of Medan, Bandung, Surabaya, Semarang, Padang, Palembang dan Makassar. In quadrant II, the city of Yogyakarta is at ninth position followed by the city of Ambon, Pontianak, Denpasar, Banjarmasin, Mataram, Banda Aceh dan Samarinda. In quadrant III, City of Jambi in the 17th position followed by Manado, Kendari, Bengkulu, Pangkal Pinang, Kupang, Pekanbaru dan Bandar Lampung. In quadrant IV, Kota Gorontalo are at the 25th position followed by Jayapura, Tanjung Pinang, Palu, Manokwari, Serang, Mamuju, Ternate, Palangka Raya.
Evidenced from the result of mapping of transport infrastructure is mostly cities in the western part of Indonesia get better scores than the cities in the eastern part of Indonesia. Hence the improvement of transport infrastructure is needed for the cities with low scores that are mostly located in the eastern part of Indonesia.

The thesis was prepared with the aim of analyzing the impact of road, rail and air transport infrastructure on regional output and the impact of road and rail transportation infrastructure on permanent migration in Java region using the 2001 - 2017 panel data. The research method constructs two models: the first model wants to determine the impact of road, rail and air transport infrastructure on regional output and the second model wants to know the impact of road and rail transportation infrastructure on permanent migration. This research shows that the density road rate, total airline passangers, and total train passangers have positive correlation on GDRP per capita where the strong level of significance are found on the correlation between density road on GDRP per capita and train passangers on GDRP per capita. Moreover, the compliment variable, such as highschooled labour rate also playing a significance role in enhancing the GDRP per capita growth. In other way, this research also found that the amount of train or plane cargo are not having any good significance on boosting the regional output. Maybe the people movement are more impactful than the goods movement in order to increasing the productivity on regional level. Moreover, the second model in this research also found out that the road infrastructure ratio between the origin and destination area is having a positive correlation to increase the number of migration. This can happen because road development in one area can encourage people to travel to other areas."
