"enelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi makna konotatif dari beberapa kata dan frasa khas yang digunakan dalam lirik lagu bertema cinta dan patah hati NIKI. Penelitian kualitatif deskriptif ini menggunakan teori makna yang diusulkan oleh Leech (1981) dan Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) untuk mengkonfirmasi keunikan pilihan kata NIKI dengan memeriksa frekuensi kemunculan kata dan frasa serta kolokasinya. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan dua belas makna konotatif yang terdiri dari delapan makna konotatif positif dan empat makna konotatif negatif. Di antara dua belas makna konotatif tersebut, terdapat empat pergeseran makna konotatif yang terdiri dari konotasi netral ke positif, konotasi netral ke negatif, konotasi negatif ke positif, dan konotasi positif ke negatif. Selain itu, beberapa makna tetap mempertahankan konotasinya. Mayoritas pergeseran adalah dari konotasi negatif ke positif. Frekuensi kata-kata unik dalam lirik lagu NIKI lebih sering muncul dalam genre seperti majalah dan buku-buku yang termasuk dalam ranah fiksi. Penelitian lebih lanjut dapat mengeksplorasi bagaimana makna konotatif dalam lirik lagu NIKI berhubungan dengan konteks budaya tertentu, khususnya budaya Indonesia. Hal ini dapat melibatkan studi perbandingan antara makna konotatif dalam lagu-lagu NIKI dan lagu-lagu dari artis lain dari budaya yang berbeda untuk memahami bagaimana budaya mempengaruhi interpretasi konotatif dalam bahasa.

This study aims to identify connotative meanings of some distinctive words and phrases used in NIKI's love and heartbreak-themed song lyrics. This descriptive qualitative study uses the theory of meaning proposed by Leech (1981) and the Corpus of Contemporary American English (COCA) to confirm the uniqueness of NIKI’s word choice by examining the frequency of occurrence of the words and phrases and their collocations. The results of this study show twelve connotative meanings consisting of eight positive connotations and four negative connotations. Among these twelve connotative meanings, there are four shifts in connotative meaning consisting of neutral to positive connotations, neutral to negative connotations, negative to positive connotations, and positive to negative connotations. Additionally, some meanings retain their connotations. The majority of the shift is from negative to positive connotations. The frequency of the unique words in NIKI’s song lyrics appears more frequently in genres such as magazines and books within the realm of fiction. Further research could explore how the connotative meanings in NIKI's song lyrics relate to specific cultural contexts, particularly Indonesian culture. This may involve comparative studies between the connotative meanings in NIKI's songs and those of other artists from different cultures to understand how culture influences connotative interpretation in language."

"ABSTRAK
Lagu merupakan salah satu unsur pendukung dalam film atau drama. Lirik dalam lagu membantu penontonnya untuk lebih memahami kisah dalam film atau drama dengan lebih jelas. Penelitian ini melakukan pendekatan ilmu linguistik, yaitu semantik. Semantik adalah ilmu yang mempelajari tentang makna. Tujuan penulisan jurnal ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan makna konotasi cinta yang ada di dalam empat lirik lagu dari drama Goblin, yaitu . lagu lsquo;Cheot-nun-chereom Neo-ege Ga-gett-da rsquo; oleh Ailee, lsquo;Cheot Nun rsquo; oleh Jung Joonil, lsquo;Beautiful rsquo; oleh Crush dan lsquo;Heaven rsquo; oleh Roy Kim dan Kim Yeji. Drama Goblin adalah drama Korea Selatan yang telah ditayangkan pada akhir November 2016 hingga akhir Januari 2017 di tvN. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ditemukan makna konotasi cinta positif dan negatif pada keempat lirik lagu drama Goblin. Pada penelitian ini, makna konotasi cinta positif lebih banyak ditemukan dibandingkan dengan makna konotasi cinta yang negatif. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan informasi kepada pembaca.

ABSTRACT
Song is one of the supporting elements in a movie or drama. The lyrics in the song help the audience to better understand the story in the movie or drama more clearly. This research approach linguistic science, that is semantic. Semantics is the study of meaning. The purpose of writing this journal is to know and explain the meaning of the connotation of love that is in the four lyrics of the song from the drama Goblin, that is. 39 Cheot Nun 39 by Ailee, 39 Cheot Nun 39 by Jung Joonil, 39 Beautiful 39 by Crush and 39 Heaven 39 by Roy Kim and Kim Yeji. Goblin is a South Korean drama that has aired in late November 2016 until the end of January 2017 on tvN. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The results found the positive and negative connotation meaning of love in the four lyrics of Goblin rsquo s songs. From this study, the positive connotation meaning of love is a lot more than the negative connotation meaning of love. This study is expected to provide information to the reader."

"Penelitian ini membahas makna-makna ’amr dalam surat An-Nisa. Kalimat perintah adalah kalimat pertama yang diwahyukan melalui malaikat Jibril kepada Nabi Muhammad dalam surat Al-‘Alaq ayat 1-5. Surat An-Nisa adalah surat urutan keempat di dalam Al Qur’an yang berisi tentang takwa, keluarga, waris dan ilmu penting lainnya. Penelitian ini menganalisis makna ’amr dalam surat An-Nisa menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan teori yang digunakan yaitu teori makna ’amr yang dikemukakan oleh Ali Al-Jarim dan Musthafa Amin dalam buku Al-Balagah al-Wadihah (2017). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ayat mana saja dalam surat An-Nisa yang terdapat ’amr dan apa saja makna dari ’amr yang terdapat dalam surat An-Nisa. Ali Al-Jarim dan Musthafa Amin membagi makna ’amr menjadi 10 jenis. Di dalam surat An-Nisa, peneliti menemukan 101 kalimat ’amr yang terbagi menjadi 7 jenis makna ’amr dengan rincian sebagai berikut: makna haqiqi 54 kalimat, irsyad 32 kalimat, du‘a 3 kalimat, tamanni 1 kalimat, takhyir 2 kalimat, taswiyah 4 kalimat, dan ibahah 5 kalimat.

This study discusses the meaning of ’amr in surah An-Nisa. Command sentence is the first sentence that was revealed through Jibril to Prophet Muhammad in surah Al-‘Alaq verses 1-5. Surah An-Nisa is the fourth surah in order in Al-Qur'an which discusses takwa, family, inheritance, and other important knowledges. This study analyzes ’amr meanings in surah An-Nisa using a qualitative descriptive method and using theory of ’amr meanings by Ali Al-Jarim and Mustafa Amin in their book Al-Balagah al-Wadihah (2017). This study aims to find out which verses in surah An-Nisa that contain ’amr and what are the meanings of ’amr which contained in surah An-Nisa. Ali Al-Jarim and Mustafa Amin divided ’amr meanings into 10 types. In surah An-Nisa, researcher found 101 ’amr sentences which were divided into 7 types of ’amr meanings with the following details: the meaning of haqiqi 54 sentences, irsyad 32 sentences, du‘a 3 sentences, tamanni 1 sentence, takhyir 2 sentences, taswiyah 4 sentences, and ibahah 5 sentences."

"Pi Cheon Deuk adalah tokoh sastrawan yang tersohor di Korea. Terkenal dengan esai-esainya yang banyak menceritakan kehidupannya, Pi Cheon Deuk memiliki pemikiran yang unik mengenai kehidupan, termasuk dalam esainya yang berjudul 토요일 (Toyoil). Esai ini ditulis dengan bahasa yang awalnya terkesan lugu, namun jika diteliti lebih dalam dapat ditemukan adanya makna yang lebih dalam. Ditinjau dari sistem tanda yang dikembangkan oleh Saussure (1916) dalam bidang semiologi, konsep konotasi Barthes (1957), dan konsep Ohaeng serta Obangsaek, 파란 토요일 (paran toyoil) atau Sabtu hijau dalam esai ini memiliki arti bahwa kehidupan tidak akan berhenti setelah menerima cobaan. Manusia akan menerima kebahagiaan dan awal baru untuk kembali hidup.

Pi Cheon Deuk is one of the most prized literature figures in Korea. Recognized by his essays that tell his own life story, Pi Cheon Deuk had a unique insight about life, included also in one of his work titled 토요일 (Toyoil). It is written with such innocent words, yet there is so much more meaning embedded in it. Inspected based on Saussures language sign on semiology (1916), Barthes connotation theory (1957), and Koreas Ohaeng and Obangsaek concept, the term 파란 토요일 (paran toyoil) or green Saturday from the essay means that life will never stop after any trials. Humans will receive happiness and new beginning to live their life."

"Film The Falls 《瀑布》 (Pùbù) adalah film dengan tema drama keluarga yang disutradarai oleh Zhong Menghong. Film ini berlatar belakang pandemi COVID-19 yang mengisahkan kehidupan seorang janda bernama Pin Wen bersama putrinya, Xiao Jing. Suasana menegangkan terlihat ketika Pin Wen menderita gangguan mental. Misteri dalam film akhirnya terungkap ketika Pin Wen mengaku bahwa selama ini ia mendengar ilusi suara gemuruh air terjun yang membuatnya gelisah. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu tentang film ini lebih menyoroti segi psikologi dan hubungan antar ibu-anak. Sementara itu, penelitian ini akan menganalisis apa makna dari air terjun dalam film ini sebab visualisasi air terjun sama sekali tidak dihadirkan hingga akhir film. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa air terjun merepresentasikan perjalanan hidup Pin Wen dan Xiao Jing. Layaknya air terjun besar yang menghantam ke permukaan beberapa air terjun kecil di bawahnya hingga membentuk suara gemuruh, lalu mengalir dengan tenang ke sungai. Pin Wen dan Xiao Jing telah melalui berbagai permasalahan, namun akhirnya sampai pada tahap keikhlasan.

The Falls 《瀑布》 (Pùbù) is a family drama film directed by Zhong Menghong. Set against the background of the COVID-19 pandemic, the movie follows the life of a widow named Pin Wen and her daughter, Xiao Jing. The tense scene is seen when Pin Wen suffers from mental illness. The mystery in the movie is finally revealed when Pin Wen confesses that she has been hearing the illusion of the roaring sound of a waterfall that makes her anxious. Previous studies of this film have focused more on psychology and mother-daughter relationships. Meanwhile, this research will analyze the meaning of the waterfall in the film since the visualization of the waterfall is not presented at all until the end of the film. This research found that the waterfall represents the life journey of Pin Wen and Xiao Jing. Like a large waterfall slams into the surface of several smaller waterfalls below to form a roaring sound, then flows calmly into the river. Pin Wen and Xiao Jing have gone through complicated problems, but finally come to the stage of sincerity."

"Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh pergeseran makna dalam lagu kebangsaan “Indonesia Raya” yang diterjemahkan ke bahasa Jerman pada pesan dalam lagu sumber dengan menggunakan dua jenis metode, yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif untuk menjelaskan pergeseran makna dan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan survei menggunakan GoogleForm yang berisi penggalan lirik dalam bahasa Jerman dan jawaban iya/tidak untuk melihat kenaturalan terjemahan. Analisis ini menggunakan teori pergeseran makna Leuven-Zwart (1989) dan teori Skopos Vermeer (1978), serta strategi penerjemahan lagu Low (2003), dikenal dengan pentathlon principle, sebagai pendukung teori Skopos. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa 83% lirik mengalami pergeseran. Meskipun begitu, pergeseran tersebut tidak mengubah pesan, hanya mengubah kesan dari lagu sumber. Lalu, hanya ditemukan enam kata dan frasa yang tidak natural bagi penutur jati sehingga tidak memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap pergeseran makna. Setelah dianalisis lebih lanjut, ditemukan juga tujuan lain dari penerjemahan ini, yaitu agar dapat dinyanyikan kembali.

This study discusses the effect of shifts in translation of the national anthem "Indonesia Raya" translated into German to the message in the source song by using two types of methods, there are descriptive qualitative method to explain shifts in translation and quantitative method with survey using GoogleForm, which contains German lyrics and yes/no answers to see the naturalness of the translation. The analysis use the theory of shifts in translation by Leuven-Zwart (1989) and Skopos theory by Vermeer (1978), as well as Low's (2003) song translation strategy known as the pentathlon principle to support Skopos theory. The results show 83% lyrics are shifting. However, the shifts do not change the message, only change the impression of the source song. Then, there are only six words and phrases are not natural for native speakers so that they do not have big effect on the shifts. Furthermore, it is also found another purpose of this translation was to be sing it again."

Peta merupakan organisasi terbesar yang melindungi hak-hak binatang di seluruh dunia. Peta membidik segala usia, mulai dari remaja hingga dewasa. Dalam berkampanye, peta turut serta mengajak tokoh-tokoh terkenal sebagai model dalam iklan-iklannya. Hal tersebut bertujuan untuk dapat lebih menarik perhatian pembaca. Dalam iklan-iklannya, PETA tidak hanya menggunakan kata-kata denotasi, tetapi juga tidak jarang menggunakan kata-kata konotasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penggunaan kata-kata denotasi, konotasi dan asosiasi yang terdapat dalam iklan layanan masyarakat yang dikeluarkan oleh PETA. Metode kualitatif yang bersumber pada kajian pustaka digunakan untuk menganalisis sepuluh iklan PETA yang menjadi korpus data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, selalu terdapat makna denotasi, konotasi dan asosiasi di dalam masing-masing iklan. kata-kata denotasi diterjemahkan sesuai dengan kata sebenarnya yang terdapat di dalam kamus. Syâ©il³ (1195-1258 M) memiliki beberapa ¥izib yang kemudian diwariskan kepada murid-muridnya. Secara tekstual, ¥izib Asy-Syâ©il³ merupakan karya
sastra yang memiliki karakteristik kebahasaannya yang sangat khas yang membedakannya dari sesama teks doa lainnya. Banyaknya pola saja', jinâs dan iqtibas dalam ¥izib menunjukkan kuatnya unsur bunyi yang berfungsi
sebagai perekat unsur-unsur kesusatraan dalam membangun makna ¥izib itu sendiri. Dalam kurun waktu tertentu ¥izib-¥izib ini kemudian berkembang di
pesantren dan mengalami perubahan makna. ¦izib di pesantren tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai media berkomunikasi antara para sufi dan Allah swt ketika
bermunajat. Tetapi juga memiliki makna sebagai kalimat bertuah yang mengandung banyak fadilah dan faedah. Namun demikian banyak juga pesantren yang menganggap ¥izib sebagai do'a yang tidak memiliki dasar
hukum yang kuat, sebagaimana layaknya doa-doa yang diajarkan oleh Nabi Muhammad saw dan para nabi sebelumnya, sehingga mereka memilih untuk meninggalkannya. Demikianlah pemaknaan masyarakat pesantren terhadap ¥izib yang berbeda-beda karena perbedaan konteks sosial masing-masing pesantren sebagai ruang keberadaan ¥izib. Ruang sosial ini pula yang kemudian mempengaruhi fungsi ¥izib yang tidak hanya dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat pesantren, tetapi juga masyarakat di luar pesantren.

¦izib is a special prayer used by Sufis to pray unto Allah Almighty. As a founder of the Sufi orders of Asy-Sya©iliyah, Abu Hasan Asy-syâ©il³ (1195-1258 AD) has some ¥izibs which were then bequeathed to his students. Textually, ¥izib Asysyâ ©il³ is a literary work that has a very distinctive linguistic characteristic that distinguishes it from other prayer texts. In number of patterns saja', jinâs and
iqtibâs in ¥izib show the strength of the sound elements which serve as an adhesive element of other literatures in building the meaning of ¥izib itself.
Within a certain time, these ¥izibs developed in pesantren and gotten change the meaning. In pesantren, the function of ¥izib is not only as a medium of
communication between the sufis and Allah during supplication but also as a sentence that contains a lot of lucky fadilah and faedah. However, many pesantren consider ¥izib as a prayer does not have a strong legal basis. As befits the prayers taught by the Prophet Muhammad and the prophets before, so they
decided to leave it. Thus the meaning of pesantren’s people toward ¥izib which is different because of differences in the social context of each pesantren as a space where ¥izib belongs. This social space also affects the function of ¥izib that is utilized not only by pesantren, but also by people outside of pesantren.
