"ABSTRAK<>br>Skripsi ini membahas mengenai pelestarian warisan budaya dan sejarah melalui pariwisata dalam kasus Korean DMZ. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif analitis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana upaya pelestarian budaya dan sejarah melalui pariwisata di Korean DMZ. Korean DMZ memiliki kekayaan budaya dan sejarah berupa berbagai peninggalan perang serta lingkungan alam yang asri dengan beragam flora dan fauna serta menjadi destinasi wisata yang populer di kalangan wisatawan mancanegara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pariwisata merupakan motivasi dan sumber dana untuk mengembangkan daerah wisata yang bertujuan untuk melestarikan budaya, sejarah, dan alam.

ABSTRACT<>br>This thesis discusses the preservation of the cultural and historical heritage through tourism in case of the Korean DMZ. The method used is qualitative method with descriptive analytic approach. This study was conducted to determine how the cultural and historical preservation efforts through tourism in the Korean DMZ. Korean DMZ has a rich culture and history in the form of various war relics and beautiful natural environment with diverse flora and fauna as well as being a popular tourism destination among foreign tourists. These results indicate that tourism is the motivation and the resources to develop a tourist area that aims to preserve the culture, history, and nature."

"Tulisan ini membahas mengenai pergeseran makna cantik dalam masyarakat Korea Selatan dari zaman Joseon menuju zaman modern. Korea merupakan suatu negara yang terletak di Asia Timur dan termasuk kedalam ras Mongoloid yang mempunyai sejarah panjang dan karena derasnya arus globalisasi dan modernisasi yang berkembang dengan cepat di negara tersebut, masyarakat Korea mulai menerima ideologi dan juga perspektif baru yang banyak mendapat pengaruh dari bangsa Barat. Termasuk di dalamnya adalah apa yang disebut cantik di dalam masyarakat Korea Selatan sendiri. Penelitian yang dilakukan memakai metode kualitatif, dengan menggunakan beberapa acuan ilmiah yang berkaitan dengan topik pembahasan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan pandangan tentang cantik dalam masyarakat Korea Selatan. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa Barat mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat besar terhadap nilai kecantikan dalam Masyarakat Korea.

This reseach study is about the shifted meaning of beauty in South Korea rsquo s Society from Joseon era to modern times. South Korea is a country that is located in East Asia and it belongs to Mongoloid race that has a long history but due to the rapid flow of globalization and rapidly growing modernization in the country, Korean society began to accept new ideology as well as new perspectives which strongly influenced by western and that includes the meaning of beauty in South Korea rsquo s society. This research done by using qualitative method and aims to determine the changing views about beauty in South Korea rsquo s society and the result of the analysis shows that the West has a very big impacts or influence on the value of beauty in the current South Korea rsquo s society."
