Sig.

The manifestation of clinical symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome is felt equally in all individuals, especially in urban young adults, including emotional and mood problems. Individuals with PMS are known to show deficits in determining emotion regulation strategies, including tending to lean towards negative emotions, tending to suppress emotions, and having difficulty in labeling emotions. In individuals with PMS, changes in estrogen and progesterone hormones result in an imbalance of emotional neurotransmitters resulting in emotional instability that affects emotional intelligence (EQ) status. Low EQ status can affect intrapersonal, interpersonal, and productivity. Based on this, this research is related to “Correlation of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) Clinical Symptom Manifestations with Emotional Intelligence (EQ) Status in Young Adults in Urban Jakarta”. This study was conducted on 107 respondents using research instruments; The Premenstrual Symptoms Screening Tool (PSST) and Emotional Quotient Inventory (EQ-i). The results of the Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) on the Pearson Chi-Square test is 0.981. And the calculated Chi Square value is 0.039, with the Chi Square table value of 3.841. Due to the value of Asymp. Sig. (2-sided) 0.981> 0.05 and the calculated Chi Square value of 0.039 < Chi Square table 3.841, it can be concluded that H0 is accepted and Ha is rejected. Thus, “There is a correlation between the manifestation of clinical symptoms of Premenstrual Syndrome (PMS) and Emotional Intelligence (EQ) status in young adults in urban Jakarta”."

Female students tend to have high stress levels, besides that most female students also experience symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS). This study aims to determine the prevalence and relationship between academic stress and PMS in final year students at the University of Indonesia. The research design was cross sectional with a sample of 356 female students through online data collection using a Student-life Stress Inventory (SSI) questionnaire and Premenstrual Syndrome Scales (PMSS) and categorical data analysis. Academic stress in female students in the last year tends to have a high level of stress or degree of weight. In addition, most of the students experienced moderate and severe PMS. There is a strong positive relationship between academic stress and premenstrual syndrome in regular undergraduate students at the University of Indonesia (r = 0.765) (p <0.05). Students can increase knowledge about academic stress and symptoms of premenstrual syndrome and how to deal with it. Future research is expected to measure other factors that influence stress and PMS such as family background, economic level, religiosity, and coping in female students."

Dysmenorrhea (menstrual pain) is the most common reproductive health problem experienced by young adult women. Sharp, crampy, and continuous pain can interfere with women's daily activities. Coffee consumption is known to be one of the risk factors for primary dysmenorrhea. The high prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea and coffee-drinking habits in young adult women is the basis of this study. This study aims to determine the relationship between coffee-drinking habits and primary dysmenorrhea in young adult women. The study method used is a cross-sectional design with a consecutive sampling technique, and the number of research subjects is 400 women. The chi-square test showed a p-value of 0.149 (> 0.05), which means there is no significant relationship between coffee-drinking habits and primary dysmenorrhea in young adult women. Given the high prevalence of primary dysmenorrhea in young adult women, health services need to provide education about primary dysmenorrhea and the risk factors that influence it in women, especially young adults, so that they no longer experience menstrual pain.

Young adults are a group of community who enjoy technology, so it made them tend to have low physical activity. Low physical activity is a risk factor of degenerative diseases that cause death. Indonesia was a country that have lowest physical activity, so it's necessary to promote active physical activity to young adults by considering psychological factors. Personality was considered as a strong psychological factor that could predicted physical activity, especially extraversion, conscientiousness, and openness. However, their effects were still inconsistent, it allowed other variable to mediate their relationships. In order to maintain the consistency of behavior like physical activity, it required high autonomy. Autonomy is a degree to indicate how individual have self-determination to be motivated to perform certain behaviors, and the motivation was derived from inner-self that show high autonomy. This study aimed to examine the mechanisms of the trait effects to physical activity through the mediation of autonomy. The study was conducted by requiring data from self-report on 59 men and 144 young adult women aged 20-40 years. We analyzed the data by using mediation PROCESS (Hayes), and it was found a perfect mediation between extraversion and physical activity mediated by autonomy, and partially mediated of autonomy to the effects of openness and physical activity. However, conscientiousness did not significantly influence physical activity directly nor indirectly. Considering the communal culture of participants, we recommended to examine the effect of conscientiousness to physical activity through the mediation of self-presentation in future research."

"We've all heard of "IQ"...but what's "EQ?" It's "Emotional Quotient" (aka Emotional Intelligence), and experts say that EQ is a greater predictor of success at work than IQ. Companies are increasingly looking for ways to motivate and develop their employees' emotional intelligence. This book presents trainers and coaches with 50 innovative exercises to be used for either individuals or groups. The activities found in the book are grouped according to the various core competencies associated with Emotional Intelligence: * Self-Awareness and Control: an awareness of one's values, emotions, skills, and drives, and the ability to control one's emotional responses * Empathy: an understanding of how others perceive situations * Social Expertness: the ability to build relationships based on an assumption of human equality * Mastery of Vision: the development and communication of a personal philosophy The book also includes suggested training combinations and coaching tips."

When entering young adulthood, individuals are faced with challenges related to developmental tasks. If young adults fail to face these challenges, this can have an impact on their happiness. In facing these developmental tasks, young adults can do so through prosocial behavior. Previous research has shown that there is a positive relationship between prosocial behavior and happiness. Therefore, this study aims to look at the relationship between prosocial behavior and authentic happiness (pleasure, engagement, and meaning) in young adults. The research instruments used in this study are the Orientations to Happiness (OTH) and Prosocialness Scale for Adults (PSA) measurement tools that have been adapted to the Indonesian language. This study consisted of 197 participants from young adulthood with an age range of 20-35 years (M = 22.65, SD = 2.70). The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship between prosocial behavior and authentic happiness (pleasure, engagement, and meaning) in young adults in Indonesia (p < 0.001). Results suggest that increases in prosocial behavior are accompanied by increases in pleasure, engagement, and meaning orientations in young adults."

Previous research has shown that nature relatedness and emotional intelligence are both related with happiness. However, there has been no further research that examines how the relationship really is. Therefore, this study was conducted with the aim of looking at the role of emotional intelligence as a moderating variable in the relationship between nature relatedness and happiness. This research is a correlational research design involving 228 young adult respondents. The results shows that emotional intelligence can moderate the relationship between nature relatedness and happiness in young adults. Specifically this research proves that a person with a high level of natural relatedness will have a high happiness in life if they have a high level of emotional intelligence."
