"ABSTRAKPencapaian ASI eksklusif di Indonesia menurut Riset Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas)tahun 2010 menunjukkan prosentase bayi yang menyusu eksklusif sampai denganenam bulan hanya 15,3%. Praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif dipengaruhi olehpengetahuan ibu dan pengetahuan Sena dukungan suami. Penelitian ini bertujuanuntuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pengetahuan suami dengan praktik pemberianASI eksklusif. Sampel penelitian adalah suami yang mempunyai anak 6~24 bulandengan jumlah 85 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada hubungan bermaknatingkat pengetahuan suami dengan praktik pemberian ASI eksklusif (p=0,000).Penelitian ini menyarankan pelayanan kesehatan di Baktijaya dan perguruan tinggibidang kesehatan mengembangkan suatu metode yang Iebih baik untuk meningkatkanpengetahuan suami tentang ASI eksklusif sehingga mampu meningkatkan praktikpemberian ASI eksklusif dengan adanya dukungan suami

ABSTRACTThe achievement of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia according to Riset

Kesehatan Dasar (Riskesdas) in 2010 shows that only 15,3 % infants received

breastfeeding exclusively. The practice of breastfeeding is influenced not only by the

knowledge of the mother but also the knowledge and support from the husband. This

study aimed to determine the correlation between the husband's level of knowledge

with the practice of exclusive breastfeeding. Data were collected from 85 husband

who had children 6-24 months. The result of the study showed that there was a

correlation between the husband's level of knowledge with the practice of exclusive

breastfeeding (p=0,000). Some recomendation of this study were proposed that the

health service in Baktijaya should develop strategy to increase husband?s knowledge

about exclusive breastfeeding in order to improve exclusive breastfeeding practice."
