"This study aims to strengthen the eco-tourism model in Northern Sulawesi (Celebes) island including its stakeholders’ roles, from local views. This research explores qualitative data through a qualitative design, using two types of tools, namely online desk research and online direct interviews to research subjects. The eco-tourism model which is already running in North Sulawesi needs to be strengthened again by involving the respective stakeholders, such as academics, business persons, government, communities and society, and the media. Strengthening the existing eco-tourism model in Northern Celebes Island cannot be separated from the existence of four types of tourist attractions, including nature, culture, man-made, and events. Unique type of natural tourist attraction could create point of differentiation of Northern Sulawesi in applying the concepts of eco-tourism of marine and coastal, as well as farming. This model will in line with wellness tourism, as predicted to be the most popular type of tourism business, after Covid-19 pandemic. Strengthening this model will ensure sustainability of biodiversity both in the marina ecosystem, wild nature, and land, as well as the biodiversity richness. From the welfare side, eco-tourism"

"Seeing many issues about intolerance between religions in Indonesia, a symbol is needed to be created. A tourist attraction located in Nusa Dua Bali, called Puja Mandala has been established, and could be used as symbol of tolerance and unity in Indonesia. The election of new government is bringing a hope and positive impacts to the country’s, for all kind of dimensions, including the approach to religious pluralism, promoting tolerance, and encouraging the unity. It also brings hopes to create symbol like Puja Mandala. Puja Mandala (known as circle of worship in Sanskrit) established as the attractions in Nusa Dua. In this area, there are five places of worship of the five religions in Indonesia, the Moslem mosque, the Catholic church, Protestant church, Hindu temple, and Buddha temple. In this digital era, the popularity of Puja Mandala from the tourist is excellent showed by the visitors rating especially through Tripadvisor. Despite its popularity, the symbol has to face several obstacles including: marketing communication, lack of activities involving all religions, corruption issue, and lack of infrastructures. In order to promote tolerance and avoid any conflicts between religions, the government and societies need to develop some strategy including to build the symbol of religion tolerance and unity all across Indonesia like what have been established in Bali through Puja Mandala; to enrich the facilities and infrastructures in the worship area, to establish annual program and festival that involve all religions in every provinces in Indonesia, to protect Indonesia's tradition of religious pluralism as set out in Pancasila and the constitution of law, and to revise the curriculum for religious education in schools, ensuring both that adherents of religions or beliefs not recognized officially by the state are free to practice their own beliefs."

"Seminyak tourism area is now one of the favorite tourist destinations for foreign tourists as an alternative to Kuta tourism area. However; the existence of Seminyak area to accommodate the tourists who are not acommodated in Kuta which in fact is stagnant, raises several new problems. In other words, sustainable tourism is difficult to realize in this district. There are many positive consequences of tourism that can be increased if tourism is implemented and practiced in a more sustainable and appropriate way. Involving social aspects and customs is essential. Indigenous people of Seminyak must always be involved in planning and implementing tourism so that it leads to a more positive attitude. One of the key elements of sustainable tourism is community development, which is the process and capacity to make decisions considering a long-term, ecological, and equilibrium economy among all communities."

Tourists might bring their own culture, meanwhile hosts are regularly exposed by myriad different culture. The host must swiftly adapt, whilst also preserve their own culture from degradation. On the other side, guests are encouraged to follow the hosts' culture, however not all guest could respect and appreciate different culture. Therefore, this study analyzes how tourism which becomes the hub of indigenous and foreign cultures, could be enhanced through cross cultural understanding. Both host and guest play an important role to maintain the sustainable and responsile tourism by harmonizing the relationship in between. "Tourism industry in Indonesia, particularly in Bali and Lombok tourism, show their fragile characteristics in dealing with disaster after disruption. Thus, disaster mitigation efforts are needed in restoring image of tourism destinations after corona virus disaster ends. In addition, it is necessary to consider forms of disaster mitigation strategies prepared for tourism industry, especially when similar disasters occur in Indonesia in the future. Based on observations and findings obtained in research process, a conclusion of disaster mitigation needs to be obtained. In the context of disaster recovery, four phases of recovery are needed, including: Disaster prevention and mitigation. Disaster preparedness and simulation. Responsive actions and priority plans during disasters. Recovery of destination images and infrastructure renovation. Four steps to recover are carried out continuously. Each step can be done in parallel and uninterrupted. To support four steps of restoring destination's image, active roles from various tourism stakeholders are needed. This active role is also followed by tourism branding recovery. Tourism branding recover involves four dimensions, namely: Consumer relationship. Media relationship. Brand infrastructure. Primary service relationship."
